  1. that non-pi call totally changed momentum
  2. our d sucks. Need another d heavy draft next year.
  3. florence succking big time today. What the f was that?
  4. nfl refs keep getting worse and worse. Horrible non-call there. Just killed another drive for us.
  5. didn't like the call, but I guess that's why I'm watching the game in my bboxers
  6. what is the fing point if they can't get it right with replay. Ridiculous.
  7. no points on that last drive is going to come back to haunt us.
  8. what the hell fitzy. Terrible sequence there. Seemed rattled after the sack.
  9. our d can't cover for crap, but they're all sure tacklers. That's a testament to gailey and co.'s ability to teach the fundamentals.
  10. gailey is megamind! And what a block by nelson. Nice to have a smart team for once, isn't it?
  11. freddie is so f'ing good right now. 30 is the new 20.
  12. Sweet! Best season I can remember coverage-wise since I moved to California. Now I don't have to drag my two year old to the La Jolla Brew House.
  13. I love Chan. Easily our best coach since Marv. And though this may sound like sacrilige, I'd take Gailey over Marv as a gameday coach. As long as we have patience and Nix delivers quality players, Chan will win with them.
  14. Anyone who is expecting 11 wins or better is setting themselves up for disappointment. This team still has glaring weaknesses which will be exploited as we get deeper into the season. On a neutral field i'd take the following afc teams ahead of us: ne, pitt, balt, texans, jets, raiders, chargers.
  15. NY Giants L (tough road game) Sun. Oct. 23 BYE WASHINGTON* L (Toronto curse) NY JETS L (Jets pwned us supremely last year) at Dallas L (tough road game) at Miami W (Fish suck at home) at NY Jets L (another tough roadie) TENNESSEE W (this one's really a toss-up but we should take it at home) at San Diego L (another toss-up (SD is way overrated) but SD gets the edge as the home team) MIAMI W DENVER W at New England L (this could be a massacre if NE has anything to play for) That gives us an 8-8 record and serves as a solid step forward coming off of last year's 4-12 campaign. Shore up the defense in the offseason and add a legitimate WR complement to Stevie and I think we take that next step and become a playoff team in 2012.
  16. Lol. It's been three games people. Fitz has been pretty good the first three weeks, I'll give him that. But lets not forget he's still made some bonehead throws that easily could have left us sitting at 1-2 right now if not for luck (Chandler td against Raiders and the pass interference on the interception in the endzone against the Pats) or a good breakup by our WR (Jones against Raiders). If he keeps up this level of play through week 10 or 11 and we are legitimate playoff contenders then it might be time to start thinking about this guy as the longer term answer at QB. For those who want to annoint the guy after three games, I've got two words for you: Derek Anderson.
  17. Bengals 23 Bills 10 (sticking with my prediction from the first three weeks )
  18. If we kill them I could see us moving up to #2 behind Green Bay. I think a close win would catapult us into the top 5 or 6.
  19. I had us at 4-12. Since I had the Chiefs game as a loss, I'll bump it up to 5-11. I still don't see many remaining wins on the schedule. Split with Dolphins, and then maybe the Broncos and Bengals?
  20. Fitzy is 6-9 as a starter since 2010, turns 29 in two months, and is a sub-60% career passer. Fred Jackson is a 30 year old running back. And he's not a guy that shies away from contact. He's got maybe one good season left if we're lucky. Sorry, but you do not break the bank for these guys. Johnson, however, is young and is getting better and better. We should pay this guy what he's worth and make sure he's a Bill through his 30th birthday.
  21. Patriots 23 Bills 10 (my predicted result for every game this year so far)
  22. The most apt comparison is Jake Delhomme in his prime. Both guys were sort of rotting on the sidelines until their late 20's. Both are fairly mobile gunslingers/risktakers with lower-than-average completion percentages. Check out Delhomme's stats from 2003-2005 when he was 28-30 years old. Those numbers are eerily similar to Fitz's stats as quarterback for the Bills. http://www.nfl.com/player/jakedelhomme/2500361/profile This is not meant to be a knock on Fitz. Delhomme was considered a top-10 quarterback at that time and he proved to be good enough in his one Super Bowl appearance to have won that game for the Panthers. Injuries ended up taking a toll on him and then his skills just fell off a cliff.
