  1. I literally LOLed and watched that Saints Bucs highlight 3 times for the entertainment value
  2. Pretty entertaining game so far. Much more than I thought, but this is Washington's Super Bowl.
  3. I would think strength in the arm would be an issue even after it's healed? Or even upper body strength in general. I imagine lifting and strength training would be hard with this injury
  4. If we have an early playoff exit the noise around "the Bills are wasting Allen's career" is going to get very loud. It's part of being a top team that hasn't won. OR even got there.
  5. The Bills have a generational talent at QB, a brand new stadium, and a bunch of decent players on the roster. There's more than enough to work with. The QB alone would make this the #1 available job. It's almost never the case that a HC or GM job opens when there is a superstar QB in his prime. Why? Because a superstar QB in his prime=consistent winning. Which means the most important ingredient is not the GM or HC in that scenario. Beane being replaced is not going to mean missing the playoffs. Zach Taylor, the most overrated HC in the NFL, got to a Super Bowl because of Joe Burrow, 2 WR and the DC who got blamed once the cheap owner let all the talent walk. Look at him now in Indy. Funny how that works. Players win games, and having one of the best QBs in the NFL means this team has a very high floor. The HC raises the ceiling. McDermott allowed Daboll to be Daboll and Allen to throw the ball all over the place and be unstoppable, so while he was uncomfortable with it I think that might have had more to do with personal stuff and not wanting to feel like second fiddle on his own coaching staff. As a younger coach at the time (experience wise) I can sort of understand that. Offense is unstoppable, everyone loves "Dabs" and you're kind of the grumpy parent telling everyone to stop having so much fun. Maybe it would be different now, because McDermott is more established and a little bit less tight and serious. I think you have a conversation as ownership first. Are you ok with trying a more wide open offense that utilizes Allen's skills? If not then you let him go. Every top offensive coach available would want the job.
  6. IMO McDermott is the one limiting the offense. It's how defensive coaches think. Limit turnovers and mistakes, and when my defense is on the field I can control what happens using the part of the game I know and love best. If McDermott demanded a top talent at WR he would have one, simple as that. Still, all that said, if I had to pick 1 of the two to keep I would keep McDermott and hire a GM that he doesn't know who would report only to the owner. For all the frustrations it can cause, McDermott's schemes and strategies would look a lot better if Elam, Coleman, and Bishop were great players. Not to mention Sanders and Jackson this season (they still could be I suppose).
  7. This would be the kind of season where we win it all. So much ball left to be played. Maybe Drake Maye retires after winning his second SB ring this season after they play Tampa and we get lucky.
  8. Drake Maye is being ridiculously overhyped. For crying out loud, the kid already has a SB ring (won on SNF against the Bills) and is about to be fitted for a gold jacket.
  9. The way Lefleur looked at Arthur Smith when Arthur went in for the hug...
  10. They hung in there for a while tonight before the talent differential won out. Packers are a stacked roster
  11. Seems like the Packers have a guy wide open to make the catch every play Night night.
  12. Steelers are melting down Packers are bigger, younger, faster and more talented. Steelers kept it close longer than I expected, but it's over now. 4-5 plays until it's a 10 point Packer lead.
  13. If we're going to run McDermotts defense he should call it They seem to perform better and it's not unheard of for a HC to call plays
