Madden was one of my all time favorite people in football. When he passed away it hit me harder than I thought it would. Listening to him and Al calling MNF and SNF games was magic. I still love watching clips of those old games on YouTube. In that All Madden documentary they talked about how they tried for years to get Madden to do a one off Thanksgiving game or SNF game but he resisted. That would have been so cool to see...

That's one reason I cannot stand Lefleur. IMO he has a negative, nasty personality that rubs off on the players. Plus his teams always come up short. The Packers under his leadership have never been a smart team. Just run into the brick wall until it (or you) breaks. Love is a very likeable guy who plays hard but just might be injury prone. I think the negativity makes him press and is part of why the team routinely melts down in big moments. A team often takes on the personality of its coach and the HC is seemingly always about to blow a gasket.
