  1. It's the exact same story on defense no matter who they have. Cannot stop quality offenses with this scheme, philosophy, or whatever it is.
  2. They showed McDermott on the headset during our offensive drive. He was covering his mouth but it's safe to say he wasn't telling Brady to open it up more.
  3. There we go! Gotta get a TD and it's a game
  4. I remember Beane getting mad when asked about the WR room
  5. These fast lateral passes are not working
  6. So many missed kicks today Hopefully this puts an end to the "make the posts narrower" nonsense
  7. FG kickers are weird It feels like an XP is more iffy than a 50 yard FG
  8. McDaniel. You can only be a weirdo if you're winning
  9. Mayfield with a beautiful throw! So many missed XP today
  10. Steelers Jets was a great game to watch!
  11. Good Lord the Browns kicker is killing them
  12. Falcons field looks awful on TV Also, sad to say this but Dolphins come back to win in 2nd half I predict
  13. IMO a trade like this cripples your team. Bills would need to give up probably Oliver or Rousseau plus 2 #1 picks, then make the cap work which might involve moving someone else. Huge upgrade at DE, but you downgrade big time at DT, you have cap issues and no #1 picks for 2 years with a lot of highly paid players. It just never makes sense.
  14. It's over! KC dynasty is done. It's Baltimore and Burrow to get past now.
  15. Chargers over Chiefs
  16. That's a good point... You have to hit on the picks. Unless you don't. Dallas could trade them for an established player. Now they have 3. They could trade 3 #1's and get almost any player on the market. OR move around the draft, all sorts of stuff. They are set up great for the new HC. I don't take their current guy seriously, he was just in the building once Big Mike unexpectedly walked.
  17. if nothing else, this shows the value of getting that #1 seed. It is such an enormous advantage. Beat a team like the Titans at home then you host the AFC Title Game. Meanwhile it's Bengals/Chiefs the same week or Ravens/Chiefs.
  18. I've always been a fan of Gabe and I'm glad he's back!
  19. They were in the AFC and therefore in the way, as were the Ravens of course.
  20. Dallas won this trade. Said it when it happened and it'll pan out. For it to work in GB's favor, a bunch of things need to happen: 1. Parsons needs to stay healthy (already having some issues and he hasn't practiced or taken contact yet) 2. Parsons needs to make a huge impact on defense. (if he's banged up that could limit his snaps, availability, impact, or all 3) 3. Parsons needs to make a huge impact for multiple years. 4. Green Bay needs to overcome LaFleur's overrated coaching and system that feasts on the cupcake of a conference that is the NFC, then folds when they play one of the 3-4 good teams in the NFC come playoff time. 5. Jordan Love needs to be a top 5-6 QB to get the team where it needs to go and overcome LaFleur as well. Green Bay is a good team, no doubt. Last year when Love was injured they looked literally the exact same with the backup QB. They run the ball, run the ball some more, then run it some more. QB is called upon to make a few throws. Works against the bottom feeders that make up most of the NFC, but when it's show time the issue is not the defense but LaFleur's overrated system that gets exposed every time once they play another good team. I am no Lafleur fan as a HC, in case that wasn't clear. But one thing is for sure: no HC that I can remember has garnered more respect and "name" off of mediocre results than him. The guy had prime Aaron Rodgers for multiple years and ZERO to show for it. Nothing. Multiple MVP seasons from a HOF QB and not even a SB berth. The supposedly "overrated" Tomlin got his HOF level QB to 2 SBs and won 1, having to get past prime Peyton Manning, prime Tom Brady, and the Ravens defenses that got Baltimore to a SB win in that window as well. I just don't get the love for LaFleur as a HC. If he's great then Tomlin is top 5. Meanwhile, Jerry Jones now has a couple extra 1st round picks for the HC he'll hire next season when he can do the full search.
  21. Cowboys won this trade. Parsons is great, no doubt, but this trade and contract are too much investment for a DE. Plus, the Packers waste talent and have an overrated coach. Sorry, but Lafleur's teams feast on the cupcake conference that is the NFC then get exposed by one of the 2-3 good teams in the conference once the playoffs arrive. Same story every single year. The Packers had 2 long HOF QB careers and have 3 SB appearances and 2 titles to show for it. That's Big Ben's career in Pittsburgh. And that was having to get by prime Manning, prime Brady and the Pats* dynasty, and the Ravens teams with Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. And the Steelers got there 3 times running that gauntlet. And we're told that coach (who was the HC for 2 of those 3 SBs) is overrated. Then what the heck is LaFleur? LaFleur had Rodgers for many of the best years of Aaron's career. Zero titles. Zero SB appearances. Nothing. Now Jordan Love is an all-time great QB according to Packers fans. Enjoy the show! I for one cannot stand the Packers and look forward to the meltdown that will happen when (not if) they fail to reach expectations like always.
  22. "not season ending" and "hopefully he can play week 1" feel like different vibes.
  23. do practice squad players get Super Bowl rings too?
  24. just awesome! Marv is sharp as ever and seems to be living his best life. He's ready for the SB winning party too!
  25. he's back! I do love #97! Line him up next to Walker and let's roll
