  1. I agree, generally, with what you’re saying. For me the question is: as we all know these penalties occur every play, when is the proper time to call them and at what frequency? It was overboard in this game.
  2. It’s time to move on. He appears to be an albatross. Even with all those who said positive things here, this O needs much more production from our TE’s and he doesn’t appear able to bring it.
  3. Four QB’s, one slot receiver and no line until half way point. Why not look at some of the articles about how he has effectively done a lot with the cards he has to play prior to judging?
  4. There are numerous articles, with solid video proof, that Daboll is doing a very good job this year with what he has.
  5. Really? I only just recently started posting here. I don’t seem to recall saying anything of the like.
  6. How did you come up with the 10% number? If I were to hazard a guess at the possibility of this happening, I would say less than 1%. Sorry, the Bills are not going to the playoffs this year.
  7. 100% agree. He was AMAZING! I didn’t see him play live but my parents were at SU when he was there and I’ve heard all the stories. I generally don’t have an issue with finesse runners but Shady seems to lose chunks of yards more times than not. I feel, behind this line, what’s needed is a straight line runner a’la Ivory.
  8. I used to go to ECHL games in Birmingham. It was a fun league and the crowds, while not huge, were rabid. Sad day when they shut down.
  9. Absolutely agree. Generally speaking, though, when he tries to bounce it outside it typically ends up on negative yards and that drives me bonkers.
  10. I’m not sure, to be honest. Not to hijack this thread, but I much prefer Ivory’s running style so it wouldn’t upset me if they let him go. With that being said, he did a better job of hitting the holes versus the Jests.
  11. First, I don’t see anything wrong with this thread (save the pouting contained herein). I love what they’re doing: develop a solid plan and execute it while still being nimble enough to pick up needed parts along the way. Next year ear will be fun and beyond that should be an absolute blast!
  12. I hear your opinion, just disagree. A man is dead and, regardless of what you feel you know about him, it’s a human life lost and a family in even more disarray.
  13. I believe it was a time, after their SB runs, where they were clearing out high end salaries. Thank God they did!
  14. It would be exciting to me! It’s a definitive need.
  15. Jerry Rice was ok first year, broke out second (getting near 1,000 yards). Cris Carter had his breakout in season five. Tim Brown was year six. Andre Reed was year four. Those are are the top receivers in the NFL Hall of Fame. You can keep going down the list and it’s generally the same: it takes time for most receivers to adjust their game to the pro level.
  16. My preference would be skill positions, specifically, as you mentioned 26, TE & WR.
  17. In my opinion, this is not what it showed. He threw what should have been two picks and we were playing a team that has checked out on their HC. If those were picked, it was a poor showing. As it is, the numbers were pedestrian in today’s NFL. I do agree with what was mentioned earlier about Daboll, though. The jury is still out on him as in all his pro gigs, he was working with bottom of the barrel talent. At UA, he ran a great O. I would hope they give him next year.
  18. Sad day, honestly, for a good human being. But also the right move as a professional organization.
  19. This will be an incredible loss. Looked more like a stinger the way he was holding his arm.
