  1. He got a pick for him so I don’t believe he missed.
  2. Receivers normally take two years to come into their own. Andre did, Moulds, etc. Not to mention he only just now got a decent QB throwing to him. I’d be a little more cautious before I threw someone under the bus like this.
  3. I attribute the inaccuracies in that game to both the game plan and his nerves. He looks more and more solid and I, for one, will not hedge in anointing him our future. His heart is absolutely in it, he loves his teammates, is a leader of men, buys into the process and has an arm like a cannon.
  4. I also appreciated Romo pointing out reads Josh missed. It was insightful and valuable. If you compare his performance last week to this week, there were noticeable improvements. I suspect we will see more of that through the year. I firmly believe we have found or QB of the future.
  5. Terrible. Hopefully McD coaches Josh to no end regarding this. He’s just too valuable.
  6. This is a perfect example of overzealous zebras implementing a new rule. Absolutely terrible call.
  7. I much prefer his hit-the-hole running style. Shady is electric but the negative run plays he creates are maddening.
  8. Same as last year. This team has a few pieces in place (QB, Tre White, Harrison, Edmunds) and now the building around them begins. Truth
  9. The change in this D has been extraordinary. Edmunds, in particular, was horrendous last week and this week he’s bringing it.
  10. Just wait until he has real receivers. Kid is gonna light it up.
  11. I’ll respectfully disagree. I do not believe it’s the same as being there through the warm-up, the camaraderie, speeches, coaching, etc. One can see a completely different team when physically there and attentive through an entire practice (ie: local reporters). Very little of that is able to be watched on film, save the Bills Embdedded, and even that is slanted.
  12. Not to knock Benoit, but how much actual understanding of the Bills can he have from Idaho? He can certainly read and watch some video but that’s a far cry from being there in person. Always interesting to to hear an ‘outsiders’ take, though.
  13. Because of the culture, I believe the Bills will win more games this year. I really don’t know enough about the Browns D but, with TT, I suspect they won’t be lighting up the scoreboard.
  14. Important to look at the long game when making the type of shift they’re making in this organization. Last year was ahead of schedule and that is good. This year will be fun regardless, but next year the rubber should hit the road. Yes, I trust this coaching and management team to deliver on their process.
  15. I went to the first three open days and what you’re seeing is, to a tee, exactly what happened in those first three. In other words: repetition, repetition, repetition. McD all the way. Also found it great to see an OC who is completely engaged and actively coaching. Thanks for for the updates!
  16. From the three practices I went to, it’s pretty clear this is a contract year for KB. Sounds like more of the same today: pushing for everything. Hoping he brings it all.
  17. What has been most interesting being there all three days is the tempo. As with last year, it is the anti-Rex: everything is deliberate and, many times, even when guys are on the sideline, they work to be better. Another interesting thing was, during the kerfuffel today, McD was right in there breaking it up. It stopped instantaneously. He has control, complete control. Also, each practice has been exactly 90 minutes. None of the ‘you guys gave it your all so we’re cutting it short’ or other Rex garbage. They changed the culture as soon as they walked in the door.
  18. All the Allen is inaccurate discussion is interesting as he has exactly one pro practice, without pads, under his belt. His college numbers were slightly below the number which deems someone to be ‘accurate’ or not. This coaching staff has clearly stated that they are going to take it slow with him (as they should). In additon, for those that were at camp last night, Daboll was talking to each QB after every play. In other words, actively coaching. Perhaps we should wait to see how this plays out now that we have a real coaching staff, not the ones from the last 18 years. Just a thought.
  19. It’s difficult to get a good read without pads, but in 11 on 11 he engaged a lineman, made the read and then shucked him on multiple plays. His is size is truly something to behold: he stands out from everyone else. He carries his 255 pounds well as he is so tall. Hard to imagine him after a year or two in a NFL strength program. Wow.
  20. Appreciate the write up! I saw Peterman a little differently and watched him work through progressions many times. I also thought Allen looked great (for a first pro practice) save the end and the two errant short throws. I figured Foster wouldn’t disappoint and he didn’t. If he keeps this up he’ll be a lock. I did catch that throw and catch on video but not sure if I can post it here. Not too worried about the O line at this point. Not much you can glean from guys standing up and putting their hands up...not actually blocking. I do, certainly, believe in McD to have them up to speed, whomever he starts. Ill be be at camp Saturday and Sunday also.
  21. I’m predominantly a voyeur here but those two and a few others are who I directly scan for. I know that I will see intelligent, football related info and, largely, lacking in the ‘see! I’m better than you’ mentality that’s so prevalent on boards.
  22. Still seems odd, though. Shady was one only the best backs in the league last year and give us a 3/5 because of something he’s guessing may happen? While it could, it should not effect the grade in my opinion.
