I love what you guys are saying and I’m not by any means saying or predicting the Bills will pack it in. I’m simply saying that with all they’ve been through I am at peace with the season without further expectations.

There’s another thread that lists out what the community of Buffalo and the Bills have dealt with over the past year…it’s almost unbelievable the amount of tragedy, turmoil, and just plain bad luck that has befallen WNY and our favorite team — and none of it self-inflicted. The Bills have to feel mentally exhausted. They’ve had to overcome so much, and now this. I’m happy with their 3rd consecutive AFC East title and big wins in big moments. Josh is “the guy” and will be for years to come, but the defense has been decimated by key injuries all season and when combined with the mental fatigue and trauma, I think it is just too much to overcome going forward. I am proud of the team, the coaches, the fans, the community…proud to call myself a Buffalonian. Go Bills.

Many of us saw this coming weeks ago. Miami is not terrible but they have underachieved and are not even close to being elite. Flores is a better coach than McNerd. If they don’t get Hill or Waddle breaking off a couple of 70-yard TDs per game they are average… I couldn’t be happier. I’m now rooting for the Jests to beat the Fish next week so once we beat the Pats*** no other AFCE team will get into the playoffs.

Dude, go for it. You'll be at a playoff game without having to worry about the elements. I think those enclosed clubs include catering, but I don't know for sure.

Regarding the Fish/Pats*** game -- I don't agree that a Miami win is better for Buffalo because the Pats*** are eliminated going into the last game. A team with nothing to play for also has nothing to lose. Besides, I don't want the Fish to make the playoffs.

I love that the Bengals are the ones getting all the talk leading up to this game. The Bills are very good at playing with a chip on their shoulders.

Actually, he says the same stuff repeatedly until it is proven wrong...at which point he picks a new hot take to pound until that too is proven wrong. It's his schtick, and for some reason he keeps getting paid to do it. Unreal.

Not sure about your percentages, but the extra week of rest and only having to play two games instead of three, with both at home, should be enough for anyone to see what a huge advantage it is...

Since this is the Broncos and I’m a Bills fan, should I be “paying attention” to this thread? Yep. I watched a bit of NFL Network yesterday after the firing was announced and one of their analysts (sorry, can’t remember name) said he has watched all of Russ’ tape this year and thinks he has fallen off the cliff. It wasn’t meant to be a hot take; he said he really can’t remember a QB “losing it” as quickly as Wilson has. That’s scary for Denver if true.

Best chance for the Broncos to upset the Chiefs this weekend was firing Hackett. Now everyone on that roster is on alert. One of two things will happen -- they'll be super motivated, or go completely in the tank. No in-between. Don't get me wrong, KC is still likely to win by double digits, but if you're looking for straws to grasp...

I didn’t read through this whole thread but with respect to the line, home field is no longer a 3-pt advantage…more like 1.5. I would like to know how the Bungles almost lost to the Pats*** last week. If Buffalo bring their “A” game to this one there’s no reason not to walk out of Cinci with a W. We should be as healthy as we’ve been all year. Advance forecast looks like chance of rain but certainly mild temps for this time of year (50s).

Mike White has shown some moxie and could make the Jets the best of the group (behind Buffalo of course), but he has already shown a propensity for injury in his two seasons.

There’s a reason why this will always be my avatar…it’s a stinking, rotting cesspool of a franchise and every bit of bad luck that befalls them is fully deserved.
