  1. @boater this is great, but don’t the Bills already do this on their site? I’ve been using it for years. They have a calendar you can subscribe to. Edit: yep, just checked my calendar and all of this year’s games are already on it.
  2. When McD got the HC job he knew he had to learn the whole job. He did what any smart coach would do — he brought in a veteran, competent DC so he could focus on all of the other aspects of becoming a HC. That has been a six year process and I think even his detractors would acknowledge growth by McD in those areas. There is no doubt he “backed off” calling the defense in order to be more of an overall manager of the team. And let’s face it — the Bills’ regular season defenses have been excellent under Frazier. The issue has been the playoffs. I believe McD when he says he is “rejuvenated” by the thought of calling the defense. I absolutely expect him to put his stamp on it and do what he believes is necessary to stifle the high-powered offenses of the AFC. It’s a curious thing to me — those who want to always assume the worst. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. Of course you can!
  4. Looks like G2 is on ESPN2 Monday at 4. Waiting for @Einstein to stop by and tell us how he won’t be watching because he doesn’t care.
  5. I’m not sure what it says about someone who “doesn’t care” enough to specifically and intentionally enter an OTW thread with a clear topic said person “doesn’t care” about so that said person can take a dump on said topic. Anybody have a good description of such a person?
  6. Eichel pulling a nice disappearing act as the playoffs progress…no goals in 6 games now.
  7. 20-0, baby!!!
  8. Preach brother. Unfortunately in five years we’ll have to endure the HOF ceremony, but I stopped watching those anyway unless a Buffalo Bill is being inducted. Dude defines the “look at me” generation, and it was always obvious he was not a team-first guy.
  9. Who said Beane was beyond criticism? The point is that they aren’t trying to tell Josh not to run, and Beane obviously acknowledged they need to put better pieces around him. It’s really not that hard to understand.
  10. Josh has sustained two “significant” injuries in his tenure as Bills’ QB. Both to his arm, and both in the pocket. Yes, he suffered a mild concussion against the Pats*** in 2019 when running, but in the three years since he has not been injured running the ball. When Josh says he needs to adjust his style of play, he’s talking about not taking unnecessary hits (i.e., not running out of bounds or sliding) and not being careless with the football. That’s exactly what McD is saying as well. It’s not about “not running the football.” Beane knows the OL didn’t do Josh any favors last year, and he went about improving the offense around him. If the OL improves, and if Josh has confidence in the added pieces, he won’t need to run as much as he has in the past, but his running will still be a weapon the Bills should not be afraid to utilize. The OP, in my opinion, completely misses the mark in yet another not-so-subtly veiled attempt at criticizing the organization.
  11. I see you’ve taken up the @ScottLaw Jets love role this year…
  12. My opinions change all the time based upon updated perspective and simple learning. Those who think they know everything never do.
  13. I was not a fan of trading for him, but now that he is a FA it changes the story. It’s all about what $$$ he wants. If he wants top-15 WR money or a long term deal it won’t happen. If he will accept a deal like OBJ just signed it could work.
  14. Absolutely. Many fans have divorced the Washington Football Team out of disgust for Snyder…it will be interesting to see how the fan base responds to new ownership. I’m sure some Cleveland fans have divorced the Browns over the Watson signing — and their owner is a crook also. It’s harder when you still live in the community, though…
  15. Losing either the Bills or Sabres would be a disastrous blow to my sports fandom. I do love the NFL and NHL but without my teams I could not see myself becoming deeply invested in any other franchise. I would become the proverbial “casual fan.”
  16. I really wish DC Tom were here…he’d call you what you are. You have to make the decision to go for it.
  17. This is a false narrative about McDermott that continues to persist. He has one of the best records of making the appropriate calls on 4th down based upon analytics — which is anything but a “conservative, defensive-minded” coach.
  18. Ross is looking for clicks. He got ‘em. Ranking McDermott outside of the top 10 is laughable. Argue all you want about him being “outcoached” in the playoffs.
  19. Talk about using a completely out-of-context stat to try and make a point. 🙄 In order to evaluate this statistic we need so much more information. Suffice it to say that every QB's job is to limit turnovers, and Josh is no different.
  20. You think all that happened to this team last year were "small things?" Geez, man.
  21. You're only "real" around here if you predict the worst, complain about everything, and deny you said it when the opposite happens. I can't wait until the Bills finally win the big one. A week later we'll have posts about how it wasn't good enough. Yes, I'm kidding around...sort of.
  22. I think he was there for the first week last year but not afterwards.
  23. Wow. That’s a high level of concern, but it sounds to me like you were down on Tre even before the injury.
  24. I’m gonna need further explanation on this one…
