  1. No, you’re completely missing the point. Sure, those were “big” games, but the next step for this franchise is winning the East and getting the Pats*** monkey off their backs. I understand why fans don’t want to throw all of their Bills eggs into one basket, but this is the most important game for Buffalo in a very long time.
  2. While I share your sentiment that this is the biggest game of McD's tenure, IF the Bills lose (I don't believe they will) I think how we view McD will depend upon what sort of loss it is. If it's a sloppy, weather-impacted game with a bunch of turnovers then you probably let it slide. If the Bills are pushed around we've got problems.
  3. As long as the Bills don't turn the ball over can anyone explain to me how the Pats*** score more than 17 pts? I'm on the record numerous times that this is the biggest game of McD's tenure. He'll have the boys ready to go. Bills 31 Pats*** 13 And after the Rams dismantle Tua Buffalo will have a 2.5 game lead in the AFC East at the halfway mark. Gentlemen...please don't feed the trolls. That dude is here for one reason and one reason only...to get your goats. Don't let him win.
  4. What is, "three men who have never been in my kitchen?"
  5. I'm trying very hard to figure out what this means.
  6. I didn't know Glennon was still in the league but I did wonder why a giraffe was roaming the Jacksonville sideline last week.
  7. This is Grade A attention seeking behavior right here.
  8. Edelman and Harry OUT for the Pats***. They might just run the Wing T.
  9. Ask 30 GMs (leaving out Buffalo and Cleveland) right now and 30 GMs select Josh Allen #1 overall. The off-the-chart measurables were never in doubt; they just didn't know if the accuracy "problems" were real or not. Combine that with what we know about his intelligence, work ethic, and leadership? Sorry, there is little question who GMs would take in a re-do.
  10. There's no doubt his best chance to succeed is getting out of that toxic environment and into an organization that knows how to develop players.
  11. Both Seattle and Arizona have more flaws than the Bills. Seattle's D is straight-up trash and I think the Bills can make enough plays with their own D to win that one (in Buffalo). Arizona, for whatever reason, doesn't strike fear into me either. Their defense is also suspect and Murray still makes a fair share of mistakes. Those games are big just like any others, but the "statement" game for Buffalo will come against Pittsburgh down the road.
  12. Sam looks really bad right now...almost spooked (I know, "I'm seeing ghosts" -- lol). Just makes terrible decisions with the ball. I know it must kill him watching Josh have this kind of success with the two of them being such good friends. Or maybe it doesn't -- I've suggested previously that Darnold just might not have the "want to" that is needed to succeed at this level.
  13. This and the “daddy issues” post sound like attempts to preemptively soothe some souls if the Bills lose Sunday. Make no mistake about it — W/L records don’t matter in this one and it is the biggest game of McD’s coaching tenure.
  14. Lamar 26th (74.4) Darnold 27th Cam 28th Mayfield 29th (73.5) 🤔
  15. ...and wondering how much I’ll be able to control myself. He’s a good friend (despite his fandom) who admits he is now also a Bucs fan but definitely still pulls for the Pats***. He played football for BC back in the 80s so he gets it honestly. He gives me s-h-I-t about the Bills but it is all in fun, and he knows we have the better team this year. It will be a good time because he has a great covered back porch with an outdoor kitchen so we’ll be (a) safely distanced and (b) have a lot of good food and drink. It won’t be a big crowd, just us and our wives. I realize the potential to embarrass myself exists but I’m trying to be a mature fan. Comments?
  16. Gotta love Hollywood Henderson.
  17. Nobody, it's over. I mean, he torched Arizona (20th in D) for 2 catches and 23 yards. The Bills have no chance.
  18. Since when does wet weather favor a running team? Propensity for fumbles increases in wet weather, and running backs are in bigger "scrums" than receivers (typically).
  19. Blue on blue White on white Blue on white White on blue Red on red Where are the other three?
  20. Oh I did not remember this at all, but it's beautiful. Peyton screwed the Jets!
  21. I'll ignore the lazy "it was only the Jets" responses and say that a leader is a leader -- they don't pick and choose when to lead. Maybe it just suddenly hit Jerry that he wasn't going to let the defense sulk because he knows his days as an impact player at DE are numbered and this team gives him the best opportunity he's ever had to chase a championship. Whatever the case, I'll take another three and a half months of 4th quarter Jerry.
  22. Despite the Bills’ struggles I was surprised to see the line at only -3.5 this morning...opened at -3 so there is a bit of sharp money coming in on Buffalo. Man, there is SO much respect for Belichick. People really think he’ll turn that chicken poop roster into chicken salad.
  23. I hear ya, James, and I'm typically on board with that sentiment. That said, not taking advantage of the opportunity this week presents would, for multiple reasons, be extremely disappointing and remove much (if not most) of the optimism surrounding McD/Beane and what we thought the Bills were becoming. Yes, it's only one game, but it's an awful big one for the Bills' fan base.
  24. I don't have any hard data to back up this "gut feeling" but I believe that some kickers take a bit of time to settle in to playing in the NFL. I feel like I recall stories of rookie kickers struggling but going on to have really good careers. Anyway, Bass is 6/8 from 40+ which I think anyone would accept. The problem is the 3/6 from 30-39, but if you add the 33-yard PATs he's 21/25 (84%). I'm chalking this up to Bass and Bojo becoming more and more comfortable with each other. Do we really think they don't look at the film of each snap/hold/kick and address any "laces out" issues? Yes, I will be holding my breath if Bass lines up for a 35-yard FG to tie or win a ballgame this season, but I still have confidence he could turn out to be a very good long-term kicker for the Bills.
