The Bills LOVE this guy. In a couple of years he is your Micah Hyde replacement.

I apologize for calling you a genius. Please forgive me.

That’s exactly right, and the team trading can “control” where the player goes (outside the division/conference). Let’s face it, Foster just isn’t in the Bills’ long term plans because of who they’ve acquired. I hope they’re able to trade him outside the conference for a conditional pick and he gets a 2nd chance. I don’t know what to make of Croom. Jokes aside, they haven’t kept him around because he’s dating the owner’s daughter. He’s a potential weapon in the passing game but apparently can’t block a toddler.

This is what I always come back to when folks talk about the “tough schedule.” What do you think other teams think when they see Buffalo on the schedule? The Bills are going to be favored in at least 12 of their 16 games. Bring on the Juggernaut! The Bills have become one of the healthiest franchises in the league, and it’s not by accident. They have SOTA facilities and a staff that focuses on player health and well-being. You might say, “doesn’t every team?” Not to the same level. Now, of course, injuries happen, but the Bills are set up as well or better than anyone.

Just because I think the Bills will win 12 games doesn’t mean I make stupid bets. Give me a bet with real odds to consider.

Trubisky wins the job in Chi-town (update- lost the job)
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, and I’ll add — if you don’t name Trubisky the starter he’s done. This is a #2 overall pick. I think the only way Foles could “win” this job would have been if Trubisky completely blew up in camp and that wasn’t likely to happen. Bringing Foles in was a kick-in-the-ass for Mitch, and a viable option if he gets hurt or regresses. -
Words not often heard in these parts.

Ok, so that's not how betting works, but I'm not surprised you two geniuses don't know that. The Vegas o/u on Bills wins is 9 (or 9.5), so all I'm saying is I'd bet the over. If you want a bet at 11.5 wins you need to be giving some better odds than 1:1.

I don't agree that McD likes to "sit on a lead." In three seasons as HC he's never had an offense capable of keeping its foot on the gas pedal. We'll see how "conservative" he is if the offense is firing on all cylinders. If he proves me wrong, so be it.

Gilliam has a lot of good qualities and could be a versatile tool for both the offense and ST. I wouldn't be surprised...

Sorry, it makes me feel good to know I was accurately reading the pulse of what was going on. Sue me.
