  1. And for once we can enjoy rational optimism. It’s a beautiful thing.
  2. Yep. Hate to see this, unless it’s a Patriot***.
  3. I'm guessing they are off today. Isn't Tuesday the typical off day?
  4. Figures we get to see their shittiest combo.
  5. Embarrassing to whom? I'm not a table jumper and everyone who knows me knows what a huge Bills fan I am. They laugh at the drunken nonsense but all understand that those are a small segment of fans and don't view "Bills Mafia" as an indication everyone is crazy. A lot of you are so uptight about something that is so not a big deal.
  6. Just goes to show what his priorities are. He's more interested in money and legacy (i.e., rushing totals) than in being a sparingly used bit piece on the Chiefs. Can't say I blame him; this "gotta get a ring" mentality is great, but if you know it's not because of you I wonder how much it really means.
  7. There’s a little bit of uncertainty, not knowing who will line up at WR for the Jests, but the bottom line is that the Bills are a much more talented roster and have much better coaching. The only way I see Buffalo losing this one is if some crazy stuff happens with turnovers and the like — sort of like last year’s W1. I think that experience, though, plus the sting of the playoff loss, has this team as focused and determined as any in the league. The Bills will beat down Jersey to the tune of 38-3.
  8. Did you take the over 7 a.m. or the under?
  9. Fire them all! I’ll be so DONE with this team!
  10. Josh Allen had absolutely horrible circumstances his rookie year. One of the worst OLs in the league and no viable receiving weapons. He had Daboll as OC but Culley as a QB coach and no veteran QB to lean on. He was thrown into the fire and battled his ass off. By the end of the year we got a glimpse of what he might be capable of, playing his finest game of the season in the finale vs. Miami. THEN the Bills began to put the right pieces and supporting system in place. As I said earlier in this thread, I'm not sure Rosen has the competitive fire necessary to succeed in this league.
  11. I’ll say one thing...at least they have a nice clean board now. Just End The Season
  12. Peter King is not a bad guy but I’m guessing if you went back and looked at his preseason predictions over the years he hasn’t been very good, from top to bottom. He’s not really doing a “deep dive” on most of these teams, and if he really did pick Miami to win the division it’s just an attention-getter and very short-sighted. We’ve all said the Fish appear to be headed in the right direction but a team that begins the year with Fitz as their starting QB just isn’t a team that is expected to compete for division titles. Winning six games last season was a pretty good accomplishment with that roster, but this is another team that is going to suffer from a limited training camp with so many new faces. What team do they play this year with a worse roster than theirs? The Jets? I’m long past the days when national media reports made me “angry” — I understand that their job isn’t to really analyze the league, it’s to fill content and drive traffic.
  13. I’ll go first. There were some hits and some misses. Hits: DiMarco to IR Gilliam on the 53 Roberts, McKenzie, and Hodgins all make the team Duke does not (but kudos to him for being on the PS) Daryl Johnson sticks Bates sticks Vosean Joseph does not Bass wins K job Webb to PS Misses: Fromm (still a head-scratcher for me) Murphy (I get it, just not thrilled about it) Dane Jackson cut (but re-signed to PS) Lee Smith (Again, I get it, just not thrilled) I’ll give myself a solid B.
  14. My philosophy in FFB is to stream K and D so I won’t be drafting the Bills’ D (I have a draft Tuesday and Wednesday). Allen, Motor, Diggs, Brown, and Moss are all highly draftable but I’m going to try my damnedest to stick to my rankings and not overdraft any of them.
  15. I don’t believe Rosen has the “want to” to make it in the NFL but if he has a chance he can’t have walked into a better situation to get his head straight.
  16. Yeah, that’s apparently a “thing” now, to disparage Allen by calling him a RB. The next six days can’t go quickly enough.
  17. These moves allowed the Bills to keep an extra OL and Hodgins.
  18. This guy gets it: The Bills are going to blow us out next week imo. We suck, our roster still sucks, our Offense sucks, the HC sucks, no training camp sucks, etc. And Gase shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Parcells.
  19. Maye is good. Outside of him, I can’t answer your question.
  20. A “wink-wink” shoulder injury. Good job Bills. What a great culture the Bills have now. Cut two vets who are free to go wherever they want but there is mutual trust to wait a day for the benefit of the team and both come back.
  21. Ok so now their plan comes to light. They weren’t going to expose Hodgins to a waiver claim and worked out a deal with Roberts to return. Well done all around. Hodgins also doesn’t necessarily miss the season given the new IR rules.
  22. Is there a brick wall I can run through?
  23. I’ll tell you what it means. The Bills have seen enough, and these guys weren’t good enough to be one of seven WRs the Bills will have on their opening day roster (once Roberts is re-signed).
  24. Ok, now that only Taylor was claimed we should start seeing the PS filling up and the IR transactions to get Roberts and Marlowe back on the 53.
  25. I read a list of four or five guys who missed the last practice who could be IR candidates. The new IR rules for this season give them a ton of flexibility. I don’t think Hodgins is going anywhere.
