Gunner, I respect the hell out of you, but it’s time for us to realize that McD is an adaptive coach who isn’t blind to what football looks like in the 2020s. He’s not “conservative” — he wants to win and now that he has an offense capable of putting pressure on teams he will use it.
-
I’ve been saying until I’m blue in the face, we can’t call McD “conservative” because he hasn’t had an offense. All of you know-it-alls can stuff it in a sock.

Week 2 Bills @ Dolphins 1st Half Gameday Thread
eball replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m worried about Bass. That PAT was about 6 inches to the right of center. -
Blah, blah, blah, win a playoff game, blah, blah, blah, beat the Pats***, blah, blah, blah, score more points, blah, blah, blah, I’ll believe it when I see it, blah, blah, blah... Sincerely, Scott

Dude, you’re miserable. And I’ve been right about McD’s Bills much more than I’ve been wrong. Feel free to research my post history.

I think the team seeing a smattering of Bills fans in Miami is going to be another huge boost for this team. Imagine being the Fish, opening up your stadium to a limited number of fans, and then seeing a lot of them being taken up by Bills Mafia. Can’t wait.

I think you were happier when the Bills stunk.
-
That’s correct — he makes that tackle 9 out of 10 times, it was a busted play.

Predict the Score - Bills at Dolphins
eball replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills 38, Fish 13 Josh owns these guys and the D line and DBs will be ultra-motivated to prove they’re about more than individuals. Bass kicks 5 PATs and a 58-yarder just before halftime. -
Jonotthan Harrison signing with practice squad

Not at all happy with the spelling of that first name. Could be a bust. -
Somebody get this man a prescription for BBFS neutralizer, STAT!

Russell Wilson Says He’s the Best in NFL
eball replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When the topic of Russ comes up I always feel sorry for Buddy Nix because he definitely liked Wilson, he simply miscalculated when he would be available. Goes to show if you believe in a QB you never wait. I’m glad the Bills went after Josh and got him.- 101 replies

And the only TD they scored that mattered was a busted play! I’m on board with this being a dominant, no-doubt win tomorrow, even without Edmunds and Milano.
-
You’re seeing something I certainly didn’t see. But to each his own. Hopefully he puts all fears to rest tomorrow.

This stuff is gonna get old real quick. 6-7 on a very windy day. Give the kid a chance.

I remember a Monday nighter against Cincinnati when he threw three picks in the first half, then threw five TDs in a rout. Josh is that kind of QB as well, I think.

Should Bills hire kicking coach/consultant? SI Article
eball replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On Sunday it looked to me like Bass simply didn’t account enough for the L-to-R wind in the direction of his two (one) missed kicks. I’ll give the guy a pass for his first live game action in the NFL and say he’s going to correct that. He was, after all, essentially 6-for-7 on a very windy day. -
But he never dominated in college! How can he ever be a good pro? Sincerely, Ham Biscuit

Robert Woods 4yr/65m extension
eball replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, yeah, that was the most glaring error of the drought era, but in Woods I’m just talking about a player who fits everything the Bills are about right now. I suppose I’d throw discarding Lynch into that discussion as well. Damn, there were just so many awful decisions. I shouldn’t have participated in this thread. On to Miami! -
Oh for the love of god please don’t give Scott any ideas.

Robert Woods 4yr/65m extension
eball replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would still love Bobby Woods on this team. Biggest regret of the drought era is that we didn’t have the QB or the organizational stability to keep him. -
“They have a tough schedule” is the laziest analysis around. SF just lost at home. Seattle beat Atlanta but gave up 400 yards passing. The Bills have a roster as good as anyone they play and they PREPARE better than 90% of the league. Guess what? When other fans see Buffalo on their schedule they say “oh crap, we’ll probably lose that one.”

So, to be clear this year I’ve actually made three calls. Call #1: back in May when folks we’re getting the “free Sunday Ticket” emails and I didn’t get one. Rep said she couldn’t find the deal but gave me $100 off for three months. Call #2: sometime in August after the $300 credits had wrapped up. Got a rep who gave me $45/mo. for a year and said ST would also be free. Call #3: about two weeks ago when I saw the $65 ST charge pending on my account. Called the loyalty number direct. Rep apologized, told me ST Max is free for me, and reduced my internet price by $15/mo. Total savings: $300 + $45x12 + $15/mo. + Sunday Ticket Max free. I’ll take it.
-
Yeah, you'd think so...but I like the thought of seeing some more Jaquan Johnson as well. I remember watching Lacey in the preseason game against Carolina last year and thinking that guy had a shot to make it.
-
Just checked my online acct. and ST Max is on there with a $0.00 charge. Next bill is due to come out any day and that's the one that typically has the first installment so I'll know for sure...
