  1. My rooting interests are simple. I root for whichever outcome helps the Bills or my wagering interests (and I try not to let the two conflict). If the Bills are not impacted I only care if my FFB players (or wagers) are involved. I would even pull for the Pats*** if doing so improved the Bills' position.
  2. Actually his 33rd, but who's counting?
  3. I was just waiting for a newb to correct me that it's "come on, man"...
  4. Common man, I'm working!
  5. Annnnd, we're on. No positive tests from Titans. Just reported.
  6. Not the point of the thread. Allen's rushing has been an asset from the get-go. This is about his play as a QUARTERBACK.
  7. Finally! I had my doubts this game would be played as recently as Sunday, but here we are. Big mental test for the Bills. The Titans are no pushover; their offense can maul you to death behind Henry and Tanny’s play action. The Bills D must show up ready to get dirty and play as physically as they have all year. Here’s our chance to show a national prime time audience who one of the AFC favorites is...and it’s not the team who played in last year’s AFCC. Josh continues his meteoric rise among the QB ranks and the Bills win in “no doubt” fashion. Bills 34 Oilers 17
  8. Holy hell, look at this comparison of Allen’s first 16 games vs. his last 16 (he has now played 32 as a pro): 1-16: 55%, 13 passing TDs, 18 INTs 17-32: 62%, 29 passing TDs, 4 INTs Stunning.
  9. Well, we won't be seeing Sammy in Buffalo...out for a couple of weeks with a hammy...
  10. The Bills totally got out of this fine. Yes, they had some uncertainty so they put two game plans in at once, but the bottom line is extra rest before Tennessee and two days more to prep for KC than they originally had. They'll have a few fewer days to get ready for the Jests but that's hardly a penalty.
  11. Expect a Stephen Hauschka retirement announcement before too long...hate it for the guy but the Bills absolutely made the right decision. I'm ok with Bass missing a few kicks as he learns to adjust in the NFL. Thankfully we haven't needed a clutch one yet.
  12. By far, the biggest concern I have for this game (I’m now assuming it will be played) is whether any Bills players will be tentative. You can’t be anything other than “all in” to play and win a football game in the NFL. I have faith in McD’s ability to reassure them, but that’s where I stand. If they aren’t mentally into this it could be ugly. The Titans will already be motivated because they’ve heard the “you should forfeit” and “you broke protocols” stuff. Mitch Morse was quoted saying something along the lines of “you have to be questioning things” and that’s not a good sign. This game will be a great test of the Bills’ mental makeup.
  13. I agree, even if the “chart” says differently. You eliminate the regulation time loss and give your D a chance to make a play to seal the win.
  14. Yeah, but that’s what fans do. I mean, Mahomes has played two full seasons and some are already saying he’s the best ever. Anyone watch Chiefs-Raiders yesterday? The same defense Allen carved up held KC in check and won a football game. Mahomes did not play well. God forbid what happens on this board when Josh inevitably has a bad outing (as all QBs do). For now this is a whole lot of fun and we’re all enjoying the ride.
  15. Because w/ covid uncertainty the dollars weren’t there. This is a “bet on yourself” deal for Hall that opens the door to a long-term deal later. Both Adams and Hall said a one-year contract isn’t the long-term goal. Allows the team and player to develop a relationship as well. Great, great signing.
  16. The game is on CBS nationwide. Shouldn’t be an issue for anyone.
  17. I enjoyed the article. I’ll admit, I hope Josh is a unicorn. I think he has a rare combination of physical and mental traits and life experience that has not and will never likely be duplicated. And we got him!
  18. THIS. I think it’s a pipe dream to hope the Tennessee Lollygaggers don’t have one positive test between now and Tuesday.
  19. Sorry to be blunt, but anyone with half a brain knew Roberts wasn't going anywhere because of how good/reliable he is as a returner, and he's not a liability if he has to fill in at WR.
  20. At this point it's really silly they haven't announced postponement of the game Sunday. The NFL must be waiting to announce it until they have decided upon the penalties, but in fairness to both teams (particularly the Bills) they need to let them know so preparations can shift to KC.
  21. I think the flaw in this question is that there is no “formula” to being a SB competitor, aside from typically needing a top QB. To presume the Bills need to “re-create” the 90s squads is folly. The current team lacks only experience and a resume of coming out on top against good teams. The last two weeks have been huge in that regard, however. I mean, sure, who doesn’t want another Bruce or Thurman?
  22. I think Timmah Graham enjoys it. It seems he has a personal vendetta against the Pegulas.
  23. And the shortest gameday thread. I mean threaf.
  24. Gotta think that five-year extension is coming any day now...
