Josh Alllen analysis on "Warner's Corner" NFLN
eball replied to ehfeuh57's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everybody wanted to say Josh couldn't throw with anticipation...turns out he just needed receivers he can trust to be in the right spot. -
Norman active. Makes me feel a bit better about CB depth now.

Buffalo is this year’s “America’s Team.” You watch — the bandwagoners are already jumping on...

The Sporting News looks back at 2018 QB class

What I love about this is it seems to further reinforce the notion that Beane wanted Allen all along, and didn't risk not getting him. -
Is Mahomes better than Josh Allen and Tre White ... now?
eball replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Umm, ok. He didn’t dominate the Chargers two weeks ago. He didn’t dominate the 49ers in the Super Bowl. I admit he’s a great QB who has had a fabulous start to his career. Since when do we start pronouncing players the GOAT after 3 seasons? -
Hell hath no fury like Bon Jovi scorned ...and Bear Cams
eball replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall
I think it’s fair to say we all know Bon Jovi would have never kept the Bills in Buffalo. So who cares what he says? We’re happy, we have a very good team, and they’re not leaving. -
Will Carr follow Fitz in targeting Levi Wallace?
eball replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If memory serves, they have until sometime this afternoon to activate Norman such that he would be eligible to play tomorrow. If he made it through practice all week without incident, then judging by the move with Cam Lewis I’d expect that announcement toot sweet. -
It means their WR corps for this Sunday is awful but Waller plays like a WR so that helps. Their D is hurting also. The Bills should be able to move the ball at will; the key to this game is if the defense steps up.

Isn’t it just a wee bit early to say that? I will freely admit he’s had an unprecedented start to his career. Not ready to hand out the GOAT hardware just yet though. -
Gregg Williams: Defensive Shenanigans on TNF
eball replied to sherpa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All you ever need to know about Greggggg Williams is found by listening to the audio they released during the bounty scandal when he talks to his defense about “killing the head.” It really is unbelievable this ass-clown was ever permitted to work in the NFL again. Also, look up a great 9-minute rant from Rich Eisen and his radio show this week. I didn’t know he’s a Jests fan...it was awesome. -
Bills vs Raiders—— Pick the score
eball replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like I should expect Josh's hot start to cool off a bit, but then I ask myself why? He's just getting started. Four more total TDs for the cantaloupe farmer and the defense shows up like the unit we expected. A couple of FGs for Bass to make him feel important. Bills 34, Raidahs 17 -
HUGE GAME TONIGHT-Denver Broncos @ New York Jets

He's the anti-Allen. Since everyone predicted him to be great, excuses abound. Confirmation bias. -

Listened to Merrill Hoge on Sirius this morning talking about Darnold. He acknowledged that some of the problems aren't Darnold's fault, like the drops and OL issues. But he said he has watched every snap this season and even went back to look at his notes out of USC. Darnold had sloppy footwork coming into the league and Hoge said he has done nothing to clean it up. The host mentioned Darnold working with Jordan Palmer on mechanics and Hoge basically said, "yes, I'm sure they've addressed how to fix it, but then it is on the player to actually do it." Hoge talked about Darnold's footwork being so bad that when he tried to avoid a rush last night he tripped and fell down. And therein, my friends, lies the difference between Sam Darnold and our own Josh Allen. The "want to." Josh is doing everything in his power to get better. Sam apparently thinks it will all just come. -
Trump, Melania Test Positive for COVID 19
eball replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
it was a rhetorical question not directed at anyone here in particular. I’ve seen the videos from rallies where people express that sentiment. -

So if you’re one of his supporters who believe the virus is fake, I wonder how you react to this news? -

Is this an AMA thing between you two? -
I nearly put a few bucks on the Jests before reality set in and I asked myself WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Good rule of thumb is that you just don’t bet on bad teams, no matter the spread.

And to think that prior to the start of last season more people thought the Jests would take the “next step” than the Bills. -
How do you determine the winner of a trade? Who wound up with the best player. Draft picks are great, but it will take years to come to fruition and you can’t count on those draft picks panning out. You build your team through the draft, but you don’t trade away superstars for draft picks if you think you’re close to competing for a championship. In that regard the Jests probably were the smartest team of the three, because Douglas knows they are a ways away. The decisions by Ass-Chin and Minnesota are pretty indefensible.
