  1. ...from the Buffalo News this morning: "When people talk about quarterbacks, a lot of times they talk about intangibles and you never really know what that means," Hasselbeck said. "I just remember, when I got to Green Bay, Brett Favre was there and Andy Reid was the quarterback coach, and he basically laid out what he thought were the intangibles that Brett brought to the table. And some of those intangibles were the way that his teammates believe in him and rally around him and he sets the tone. The other thing Andy said was, 'Notice how Brett intimidates the opponent without even saying a word. Like when they get their game plan book, what are they saying? They're saying, 'Oh, boy, we got that guy. He can throw it all over the field. You can't rattle this guy. The harder the harder you hit him, the better he plays,' whatever it is that they might say.' Those are intangibles. "Some quarterbacks will never, ever, ever have those intangibles or certain intangibles. Josh has got them. I don't even know if he knows he's got them, but he's got them. And people fear his arm. They fear his athleticism. They fear his size. And I just know from watching the excitement (he creates for) his teammates. One of the things that Josh's teammates said he was, 'He's a stone-cold dog.' I said on the air, 'This guy's like a cowboy.' And people were like, 'Oh, is that a shout out to Wyoming?' I'm like, 'Yeah, kind of, but I really mean he's like a cowboy.' And it's infectious. Some guys have it, but very few do."
  2. I don’t give a crap about SAS but what’s happening is that the Bills are figuring out how to get their D “swag” back while the offense has shown it can beat you in multiple ways. I can’t wait for a rematch with Tennessee and/or Kansas City in the playoffs.
  3. Josh is becoming what many of us believed he could become, based upon his attitude, intelligence, and supreme physical abilities. The naysayers who looked at a late-developing kid who only played in Wyoming, and who didn’t do any homework beyond “advanced stats” have been proven dead wrong. I love it.
  4. ESPN+ has been great for all of the live sports...I don't think I've watched an ESPN studio show in years.
  5. That sounds Like a pretty Good plan for This game.
  6. Great point. Except that's not what happened.
  7. I have it on pretty good authority that Kyler Murray made "the face" after Sunday's loss so the Bills better watch out.
  8. I'm actually pissed the Pats*** won that one...I bet them on the u9 for regular season wins and that L would have almost wrapped it up.
  9. Itchy posting trigger finger this morning?
  10. I hear what you’re saying but becoming an NFL head coach is a unique scenario that is about more than money. Meathead Mularkey (awful front office) and Saint Doug (big payout) aside, I can’t remember another situation in which a guy “opted out” of being a head coach. What we truly don’t know is how Daboll feels about it. I suspect that as much as he loves Buffalo and Josh Allen it is his dream to “run the show” himself and he will take that opportunity if it is presented — and it has nothing to do with money.
  11. I think the writer is clearly off base. The Bills actually hurt their own playoff chances by defeating another NFC opponent, thereby weakening their tiebreaker position.
  12. Hmm. How’d the game turn out, everyone?
  13. I’m just checking in to suggest that the Seahawks are a bit worried about playing Josh Allen and the Bills offense this weekend. It’s really amazing how this fan base takes every opportunity to go in the worst direction possible. Go Bills.
  14. Blue on blue this week. Didn't copy the tweet from the Bills but it's legit.
  15. 20 mph winds are but a mild breeze in the face of a Josh Allen spiral. Nothing to fear.
  16. I've checked about 3-4 weather apps and the rain will be moving out...a slight drizzle if anything. Winds won't be severe; probably 15-20 mph.
  17. I think you mean you couldn't care less -- but we get your lazily phrased point. 😛
  18. No, you’re completely missing the point. Sure, those were “big” games, but the next step for this franchise is winning the East and getting the Pats*** monkey off their backs. I understand why fans don’t want to throw all of their Bills eggs into one basket, but this is the most important game for Buffalo in a very long time.
  19. While I share your sentiment that this is the biggest game of McD's tenure, IF the Bills lose (I don't believe they will) I think how we view McD will depend upon what sort of loss it is. If it's a sloppy, weather-impacted game with a bunch of turnovers then you probably let it slide. If the Bills are pushed around we've got problems.
  20. As long as the Bills don't turn the ball over can anyone explain to me how the Pats*** score more than 17 pts? I'm on the record numerous times that this is the biggest game of McD's tenure. He'll have the boys ready to go. Bills 31 Pats*** 13 And after the Rams dismantle Tua Buffalo will have a 2.5 game lead in the AFC East at the halfway mark. Gentlemen...please don't feed the trolls. That dude is here for one reason and one reason only...to get your goats. Don't let him win.
  21. What is, "three men who have never been in my kitchen?"
  22. I'm trying very hard to figure out what this means.
  23. I didn't know Glennon was still in the league but I did wonder why a giraffe was roaming the Jacksonville sideline last week.
  24. This is Grade A attention seeking behavior right here.
