  1. You know, really make him feel wanted.
  2. I think you've got it backwards. Players are saying they care about winning and then only going to the highest bidder even if that team isn't a winner.
  3. I'd bet a week's pay this is a baby mama decision or some crap like that ("I don't want to move to Buffalo"). If the $$ are the same, no sane player makes that decision.
  4. It’s amazing, and good for him. He joins the likes of Sam Bradford and Ryan Fitzpatrick as winners in the business side of football.
  5. Geez, these picks really destroy value in the 4th and 5th rounds. it is a system that’s hard to rationalize.
  6. This is actually pretty awesome. He’s obviously not choosing Cleveland, which means NFC. Don’t see him going to the Saints now that Sean Payton is gone. It’s Panthers or Falcons.
  7. Baker’s wife has a Cynthia Frelund vibe going…and geez if that story is true. Fixed. That douchebag deserves every bit of misery he gets from the Browns.
  8. Man, ain’t this the truth. I love Josh Allen more every goddamn day.
  9. Exactly. There is NOBODY who expects Cody Ford to be on the Bills’ 53 when rosters are set. Nobody. He has been an abject failure of a draft pick to date, which is precisely the reason why I don’t see the need for fans to continue to pile on. He’ll be brought into OTAs and camp and given a final chance with Kromer. It’s all upside; either he makes it or he’ll be gone. I am 100% certain Beane is not basing anything he does in FA or the draft on an expectation that Cody Ford is a significant piece of the puzzle.
  10. Isn't it ironic that a guy named Source has all of these insights?
  11. It just means that now they're actually answering Buffalo's calls.
  12. If you don't include Diggs -- a guy who led the league in yards and catches in '20 -- as a game changer, I don't know what to tell ya...
  13. Thanks Rico...I was gonna say...
  14. You're probably not alone in your thinking...I just disagree. The defensive scheme is fine for today's NFL. They lost to KC for a number of reasons, but their defensive identity is not one of them. While being the best defense in the regular season doesn't result in any trophies, it's a bit naive to suggest it means "nothing" to look at what a unit did over 17 meaningful games. Again...13 seconds.
  15. I mean, I understand the desire for improvement but that “antiquated and inflexible scheme” resulted in the #1 scoring defense in the NFL. I think we’re letting 13 seconds cloud reasonable analysis here.
  16. Starting? I think the moment they granted him permission to seek a trade that die was cast. I’m still on board with a WR in R1.
  17. I’m sort of meh on this signing, but an underrated aspect of the move is that Saffold will be a Kromer advocate in the locker room.
  18. This. I jumped the gun late last season, proclaiming Phillips may have turned into “the guy” the Bills had hoped, but in reality I think that was a little bit of wishful thinking after a few solid games. I am pleased with the two DL acquisitions yesterday and agree with those who say the Bills’ interior DL looks better this morning, on paper, than it did at the end of the season. Phillips is indeed a great dude and I’m happy for him to get this payday. Too bad for him he has to go in his new locker room and see Captain Kirk rather than Josh Allen.
  19. C'mon, man, June has the OTAs!
  20. Cheap shot but a football play. Williams harbors no ill will.
  21. Yes, that's what is called "QB purgatory." Not a bad QB but not one who's going to win you a Lombardi. The Vikings are screwed.
  22. Great example of how stats are misleading.
  23. Great post! I’ll add that McKenzie brings a real positive energy to that locker room as well. I’m glad to see confirmation that the alleged “rift” between he and McD is clearly some b.s. conjured by fan and media supposition and not a real thing.
