  1. Oh my god this dude is a mental midget. “I was a Buffalo” and “we were inclining”…smh. Probably a good thing he flipped. He can go back to “being a Washington” in peace.
  2. Well, I know WE didn’t start the fire…it was always burning since the world’s been turning.
  3. Love what’s going on with the Sabres right now…lots of buy-in and a group who seem to play for each other. Think of the influx of young talent coming in next year as well. They just need to fix the goaltending problem (I like Anderson but he ain’t the solution) to become a contender. It has become more and more obvious to me this season that Eichel was (and is) a cancer. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit that a large part of the Sabres’ “disagreement” over the surgery was intentional, to get him out of the organization. Brighter days ahead!
  4. Yup. Most of us saw the “it” factor early. Even in 2018 Josh showed that he could elevate the play of those around him, which is a telltale sign of true greatness. He simply needed to learn the game and get those mental and physical reps because he didn’t grow up being “groomed” to play QB. Once the brain caught up to the body, he became what we are so fortunate to witness today. And he’s still getting better, which is scary as hell for the rest of the league. Don’t ever expect the national media to put forth any sort of thoughtful analysis on the topic of Josh because (a) it’s a “quick hit” and “hot take” world; and (b) they don’t dig deep enough anyway. I don’t let it bother me and neither should any other Bills fan. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
  5. Dude, do you know a coaching staff who coaches up corners better than the Bills? Their scheme doesn't rely upon "lockdown" corners either. It's clear they want a dominant front and they will scheme the secondary around that. Get a stud WR in the 1st, then get DBs later in the draft (and a vet FA).
  6. Somewhere in the "Von Miller's First 24 Hours" video you hear Beane saying exactly that to Von.
  7. A lot of teams have SO many changes it's nearly impossible to predict how well their new players and coaches will gel. Talk to me in October.
  8. So are we agreed that the Fish are @ScottLaw's new team now?
  9. Miami now reminds me of the all-star team Philly tried to field with Michael Vick. Lots of names on paper on offense, but the biggest question mark of all at the most important position.
  10. Hill to the Jets or Fish is a huge win for Buffalo.
  11. I really liked the moment when he went out to the field and was obviously either praying or self-reflecting on the days to come. The man takes this very seriously. I think I would have found it off-putting if Von was bouncing around the place, all giddy.
  12. John, you don’t (or shouldn’t) draft in the 1st round for need…you draft for a guy you think will be a cornerstone (no pun intended) at a premiere position. CB could absolutely be that position, but so could WR. If Williams drops you’re looking at a superstar.
  13. ALWAYS somebody with this question…LOL. That’s Beane’s job…why do we worry about it? I disagree. This frees Beane to pick a potential superstar like Jamison Williams if he falls to 25, knowing we don’t have to count on him in Y1 while he gets that ACL fully healthy.
  14. The comments…geez. I watched the whole thing and appreciated it. This isn’t a wide-eyed rookie, it’s a 12-year veteran checking out things at his new digs. Welcome to the Bills, Von.
  15. I love Beluga…some of the finest caviar around! What does this have to do with the Bills?
  16. I’m thinking he becomes the new “mayhem” for Allstate.
  17. Please! For the love of the buffet!
  18. I'm with ya, but that's only MNF.
  19. There are a lot of old guys on this forum. I'm old too, but I still keep up with the intarweb trends. The Bills' social media machine is a good one.
  20. Now that's a pretty good announcing team!
  21. "Look it up, Thurman."
  22. If I have a nit to pick with this, it's only that I think it is always worth it to bring a true developmental QB in, even when you have an established star. Those guys can grow into trade ammo in a couple of years. They're obviously not getting that from Barkley. Still, it's obvious that Barkley was well-liked in the locker room and I'm not going to get upset over a move that continues to keep Josh comfortable. Signing Barkley will have no negative impact whatsoever on the football field.
  23. This is a good fit for Woods, since he is a willing and capable blocker and the Oilers are a run-first team.
