  1. It's not. The suggestion to trade for Red Skelton a few years back was worse.
  2. ...'bout time to send this over to Off the Wall, no? Isn't that where we go if we want to discuss washed up retirees?
  3. Joe, didn't you just use words to describe how badly you want this?
  4. We're only four games in, my friend, and we're 3-1. I think the investment in the D line has paid off, don't you? The left side of the OL has been fine. They've also dealt with injuries. It's a work in progress and I still have faith in Beach Chairs.
  5. At the very least, he’ll have a good workers comp claim. As for the dolt filing a police report — the police *have* to accept the filing…that doesn’t mean they’re going to do a damn thing about it.
  6. So far this season Cook is my biggest disappointment. I had high expectations and he looks like he’s just not confident out there. I hope the rookie jitters disappear *immediately* so he can start contributing in a way that could take this offense to an even higher level. If Cook is used for some of the RB screens Josh threw to Singletary last week, he has a chance to take it to the house.
  7. Gunner, what has gotten into you? You don’t like Harlan, you don’t like Kyle Brandt…have you no decency sir?
  8. I think I read somewhere that the ball slipped out of Josh’s hand…am I dreaming? I haven’t gone back to watch the play.
  9. “Remember the Jags” — the mantra for every sad sack Bills fan in existence.
  10. Yeah, that site is great, been using it for years. What’s odd is that some NFL teams release their uniform plans for the entire season while others (like the Bills) try to create this week-to-week drama. I mean, it doesn’t really matter to us as fans, but it’s fun to look at. Of note: the Pats*** are wearing my favorite iteration of their uniform this week.
  11. Did you knock out any of your teeth when your knee hit your face?
  12. Yep, you made a definitive statement that "they are hurting the team." I understand you probably didn't mean that, but in this forum it's hard to read between the lines. I'm going to err on the side of believing this coaching/training staff will not put their players in a position of harm. We're not the goddamned Dolphins.
  13. What in the world makes you think you know more than the Bills' training staff who have been universally praised in league circles for how they manage and take care of their players?
  14. McKenzie's gonna be fine. He was dancing at practice. By Friday he'll be cleared.
  15. I think you should start a thread asking if we are "concerned" about this.
  16. The Bills don't play the Ravens again so Tavon's use as a scout team QB won't be needed anyway.
  17. Exactly. How many "almost" plays are there in EVERY game? Dozens. Dumb thread. Sorry @Einstein
  18. I would like to see those as well. We have these high-RAS O-linemen and asking them to block for between the tackles runs doesn't make sense. I have to think Dorsey is playing the long game, not showing everything right now and figuring out what they do best.
  19. Agree, Gailey was very good at it. I'm glad Dorsey is doing things to make up for the lack of a traditional running attack.
  20. All screens are not created equal. It sounds like you want to see the old school, let the blitzers come free and then float a pass to the RB outside who has four blockers in front of him. That's not what Buffalo is doing.
  21. Was just coming in to say the same thing. Totally dirty hit at the knees on a player clearly headed out of bounds. That b.s. doesn't belong in the game.
  22. Well, all Orlovsky does is study game tape of all 32 NFL teams for a living and has a background as an NFL QB...but you're right, he's probably full of s-h-i-t and your armchair observations are more spot on.
  23. I agree with you, but I don't believe this mentality is in Tomlin's DNA. This is going to wind up being an awful, terrible, no good season for the Stillers.
  24. Until that bust 1st round LB swallowed him up.
  25. He's a real blue collar, hard-hat-wearing, bring-your-lunch-pail-to-work kind of player. He's also very articulate. Did I miss anything?
