  1. Putting yourself through hell over something you can’t control is idiocy.
  2. Oh, I didn’t know that. Well, then he just sucks in general!
  3. Excited for two Bills games in five days! Looking forward to eating my turkey on Thursday with the Bills sitting at 8-3. 17 and 3, BABY!!!
  4. I rarely publish an original tweet, because (a) who the hell cares what I think; and (b) why would I want to invite the s-h-i-t-t-y responses that will flow from anyone who does respond? I’ll @ a reporter once in a while and have actually had some good exchanges, but even those get fouled up by morons.
  5. Prediction: they will offer you a “code” to use for a one-time future purchase in the amount of your original purchase.
  6. Murph is by all accounts a super nice guy. He’s an awful PBP announcer.
  7. I initially thought it would make sense for them to stay in Detroit through next Thursday but I guess the logistics of practice/injury therapy would have been very difficult to manage. They want to use their own facilities as much as possible. Thankfully it’s a super short flight.
  8. I use Twitter as a news/sports feed or a source of humor. Nothing more. My follows are primarily related to Buffalo and UNC sports. Anyone who thinks the “opinions” of regular people on Twitter represent anything other than the fringe of society is kidding himself.
  9. Without a doubt! Best news all week.
  10. Thanks; just read that. Would never have guessed there are only 300,000 Qataris living in Doha.
  11. I really don’t know why I open these threads. I should have learned by now…
  12. This is really the only kickball tournament I watch. Saw that the US is in with England, Wales, and Iran. What are our chances to get out of that group? I always root for the US and Germany (my dad’s birthplace). Qatar was an odd choice for this year’s Cup, but FIFA is one of the most scandalous and corrupt organizations in sport so not a surprise. Anyone ever been through the airport in Doha? It’s unbelievable. The lounges are first rate.
  13. An ugly Pats*** W to put both teams at 6-4 is the correct answer, I think.
  14. Bump. So, I had a great Sunday last week. Golfed, spent time with family. Really nice not to worry about football. So what are the plans this weekend?
  15. Season. Over. What a disaster. Hey, but at least they can remember that awesome Super Bowl parade when all of LA showed up to celebrate and Matt Stafford ignored a woman who fell off the stage.
  16. Unless it’s for a kid or it’s a “big one” (16, 20, 21, 30, 40, 50, etc), “celebrating” birthdays has always struck me as being a little over the top. Some people take it to an extreme level, celebrating their “birthday week”…and when I see someone wishing their spouse a happy birthday on FB or Insta I cringe. Total “look at me” move. That said, it’s cool that your wife’s interests and yours are aligned so you don’t have to ruin her “special day.” Go Bills! 18 and 2, BABY!!!!!!!
  17. You have fallen into the trap of listening to medical “experts” who have seen nothing other than game tape and are being paid by gambling sites to prognosticate on injury prognosis. It’s a disgrace to the medical profession. Wise up.
  18. If Josh is healthy enough to be one play away from playing, he’s starting. No question about it.
  19. There is literally NO evidence of this being even close to the truth. Josh practiced today. You may as well be Dr. Chao on Twitter who is paid by FanDuel to pontificate on player injuries without any hands on evaluation of the patient. All of the speculation is ridiculous. I think Josh will be a game time decision on Sunday, and I’ll be mildly surprised if he doesn’t play. Missing three games? Preposterous based upon what we’ve actually seen.
  20. This is 100% true, and it makes a difference in attracting players to come here. "They treat you like family" is not just idle chatter in this organization...
  21. Your sarcasm detector is broken I see...
  22. I’m going to play golf in the morning. Looks like it will be a nice fall day here in NC. Anyone else have plans? Feel free to move this to “off the wall” if necessary since it’s not football related — because, you know, the season is already over.
  23. Yeah, much better to gloom-and-doom the days away…
  24. Well, if there is any silver lining to this injury, while it heals it may force Josh to take the “easy stuff” teams are giving him rather than continue to force the ball downfield.
  25. Dude, it’s why I typically stay away from the board the week after a loss…there’s really not very much productive discussion going on. It was a bad game that they still almost won. They’ve lost two games to 6-3 teams by a total of 5 points. I’ll find other things to worry about this week.
