NY Jets at Buffalo Bills, Sunday Dec 11 at 1 pm

Miami is middle of the pack. They beat the bad teams, and struggle against anyone above average. -
NFL warns it will punish teams for faking injuries

I would totally call him out if I thought his actions were over the top. I can only remember one or two where I thought he was hamming it up. -

IMO Josh is trying to make sure he gets his share of calls because he knows with his style there is a tendency for refs to “ignore” hits that are called for other less mobile/physical QBs. I don’t recall seeing anything i thought was particularly egregious…and most of the time this happens when he is running and is pushed as/after he throws the ball. I think a lot of it is self-preservation…it is easier to go down and roll than to keep running and perhaps run into something on the sideline. I’ve seen players injured as they crash into the bench or a cameraman. -
It ain’t happening, folks. The Bills will dance with who brung ‘em.

Love it. This game is one of my earliest “in stadium” Bills memories. My dad would alternate taking my mom, me, and my sister to games and I was lucky enough to get this one. -
I really, really do need to thank you again for not charging me rent for all that space I occupy in your head.

Bills open as 9.5 favorites against Jets(10.5 some places)

Added for emphasis. I think the bolded is more important than gauging the Bills' "hunger." Mike White is absolutely a gunslinger and turnover machine. If the Jets don't rein him in it will be ugly against a good defense like Buffalo has. -
Agree completely...I'm referring to their misguided fans and the media who always want to overreact to anything Miami does.

That game yesterday should be worrying the hell out of Dolphin fans. You can't stop an offense led by Mr. Irrelevant and Tua was exposed by a good defense.

I don't think very many people believe Baker is a good QB, but the odds are that Purdy will be worse.

Mini-bye: 3 days off, how many players leave town?
eball replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
My guess would be that the healthy players take a little break, while the guys rehabbing stay in town and continue to use the facilities. -
You can't. Even though he has flamed out you've got to kick the tires on Mayfield. You need a guy who has played in big games, even if it's just to manage the game behind that defense.

While Saffold’s performance is obviously subject to critique, how great is it to have a veteran NFL player openly lobby to stay in the organization?

College Football Playoff & Conference Championships - Projections

Thoughts and prayers out to Bama fans whose team is consistently overlooked by the college football playoff selection committee. 🙏🏻 -
Go ahead, start “homer-shaming” me…but you all know who you are. “This is wrong, that is wrong, the Bills don’t scare anyone, the offense doesn’t have talent beyond Allen/Diggs, the D stinks, the coaching is suspect, blah, blah, blah…” Three road wins. 12 days. A blizzard. Injuries. Doubters. Can’t wait for the “there’s no way we’ll slow down Miami’s speed” threads next week. Suck it. I love this team. 17 and 3, BABY!!!

Japan are pretty exciting to watch. Hated to see Germany go out but they blew a lead against Japan and just weren't good enough at converting their chances before today. In retrospect that was a group of death!

Umm, yeah, probably because Rousseau has been out along with Epenesa? Mike Love was playing in Detroit, for crying out loud!

Hate to not have him vs. the Fish but this is a good overall scenario...he's not trying to rush back and can let that knee heal as much as possible before the playoff push.
