Same. Probably get a bunch of cigarettes and some beer/mixers. I have enough smoking supplies. My touch football season ended last week (we sucked), and we got a bills game sunday so i literally will just be snowed in. I'm sort of excited.

They've taken care of business in tight games. They still have 5 games in a tough division. NFC north has been bad this year and they've played the AFC south which also hasn't been very good. They have a very poor passing attack as well. 1500 yards passing through 9 games, with a 10% sack rate. The team seems to like playing for him - but they're also winning so that makes it more fun. Thanksgiving on will be a make or break series of games. Dallas, philly x2, wash x2, minnesota. They get detroit and indy at home as well and they cannot afford to lose either. They're positioned well to make the playoffs but I don't see washington laying down for them. Quietly won 4 of 5, and almost knocked off minnesota. They get Houston, Atlanta and NYG x2. NFC east probably sends 3 and it SHOULD be philly, NYG, dallas - but i could see Washington making it hard for them especially since they play them twice.

Worst case you move back what... half an inch? Hard count- worst case is false start or delay of game. Best case - game.

I don't want to commit to it - between the 20s we have mostly shredded teams. We suck in the red zone, and we're dead last in turnovers. Figuring out how to run the ball would do wonders for getting 7 instead of... 3 or 0.

Eh - I thought we got hosed on the singletary fumble call. The DPI late in the game was also a pretty lousy call IMO. Jefferson didn't even play the ball on it and initiated contact. They also mugged knox in the end zone. I don't care where he's looking you wrapped him early. Right? Have davis run clean by and snap it before he comes back - change it up or something.

Might be time for Dorsey to be on the sideline.

We didn't even have running backs in the backfield on some of them. No jet motion, no eye candy, no play action, no sprint outs... its uninspiring to say the least. Not to mention, there was about 5 yards of space between the 1st and end zone and we didn't seem to try and get it at all.

I just don't go end zone there - its 2nd and 10 we needed yards. Situational football.

It's not as if we're married to the guy or signed him to some lucrative extension. They signed crowder for a pretty reasonable deal, and drafted Shakir. Crowder got hurt, so Mckenzie is getting more snaps. Not really sure what the playcall is there. I can't fault a guy for running his route if thats what he's tasked with doing. My issue is he motions in on the play to show man coverage then as he motions out the snap came before he was fully set so it threw off the timing on it. I'm fairly certain he's supposed to be behind davis on another slant but they ended up on top of each other because of either the play design or impatience.

Singletary seemed to get hosed on that call to me anyway.

Other than terminology changes, he played under mcdaniel for his entire career prior to this year.

1 - False start does nothing - so go with a straight up hard count and eat the penalty. 2 - I probably spread them out and force them to match up. Have allen go to the line like a sneak, and expect them to stack it. If they don't stack? Sneak. If they do, move into shotgun and sprint to the sideline, worst case chuck it out of bounds and you've wasted some time, best case there's a breakdown and you get the needed yard or two, or even a completion.

Yeah - i don't mind throwing there as you need a first down to really hurt them. But that was some terrible execution, and a lot of it was on Diggs actually.

Most fumbles are going to come from QBs. And its flukey as to how they occur. Buffalo is still 3rd in the NFL in takeaways. If we could not be DEAD LAST in turnovers on offense we'd probably be cooking with gas here.

I think this all but eliminates him from the MVP conversation. And I'm fine with it - get back to focusing on winning football. That... is a good question.

We scored twice from inside the red zone running the ball though... 2nd and 2 from the 7 - we passed 3 times. 3rd and 1 from minnesota 49 - we pass and get sacked. We did have a duke johnson rush get stopped, and a singletary. But We also stopped running

The defense had one possession and gave up 3 points. The offense had 2 possessions and scored 0 points. The defense didn't play well but to act as though they're the reason we lost is not really accurate.

The blueprint only works if you have a good secondary, and even then its at best a coin flip. GB has a good secondary and they gave up over 5 consecutive drives, and while their run game was effective into the 2 high safety looks, it didn't result in nearly enough points to catch up.

They were 5-13 on 3rd downs. 2/2 on 4ths. The game was 14-3 and they had the long drive to bring it back to 14-10. Buffalo screwed up a chance to go up 7 there by not using their last timeout to really exploit the middle of the field (or to use the sidelines to stop the clock and get some free yards. They then had a decent drive aided by poor officiating a fake punt, and buffalo still stopped them when it counted. Allen just gave it right back. Now down 17-14 offense drove down for 3, and we immediately got a 3 and out. With 12 and change left we got to midfield and just blew it. You need to put pressure on the other team there. Even so - Buffalo gave up 77 yards rushing on the last drive and still got a stop somehow and gave the offense one last chance. Before that last drive they had under 100 yards rushing and under 150 yards net passing. If Buffalo scores on the first possession, or at the half, or when the game was tied... they win. I don't care if they move up the field and kick field goals - we should beat a team that does that.
