Fanduel sportsbook. Thats my Craps strategy - if im in vegas i decide in advance how many games i want to play - and how much money for each. If i go to a casino in buffalo I'll take out how much i want to play with in the ATM and that goes right on the table. I don't reach for my wallet again until im cashing out.

I have a few: Matt Cassel and Jerry Hughes were on my plane in the offseason we signed Cassel. After this I KNEW Cassel didn't have the mental makeup to be a good QB. Cassel - had priority boarding in first class. hung out away from the gate after he checked in. basically waited with sunglasses on and snuck on the plane, then sat in the window seat with his hat and glasses covering his face. Hughes - Sat at the gate, signed autographs and talked to fans, with his wife and kids in tow. While eating fried chicken. This past spring (maybe cinco de mayo, place was a freaking zoo) i went to Maizal in East Amherst and McKenzie and Moss were there with a few of the rookies. I know i saw Shakir Cook and maybe Bernard? In any case, they sat in the middle of the restaurant and i believe we sang happy birthday to Bernard and then obviously they got the restaurant bumping the shout song. The last one was way back in my younger days at encore. Met Eric wood and a few other linemen. Wood was quiet, Chris Hairston made out with my friend and was among the largest humans ive ever met.

Like rushing Allen - discipline in your rush lane and depth is important. We hadn't gone around the edge much on that tackle all day, and LJ hit the pocket super deep on that 4th down. Definitely a gamble since if LJ shakes you there they probably score, but the vet saw blood in the water and made a play. -
Same game prop parlays are pretty fun - gives you a vesting interest in a specific game you have on. Something like cowboys rams becomes a bit more fun if its like - Cowboys defense 4+ sacks Elliot to score 1 TD Kupp to... i dunno not score. If all 3 hit you get paid a pretty good payout and it gives you something to cheer for in a meaningless NFC game. I like to do them in the SNF/MNF games that i half watch.

Seems like Lawson has been seeing the field a bit more in some of those run fits situations. -
Marpet Retired. replaced by rookie Goedeke Cappa got a raise in cincy. replaced by Mason Jensen carted off in training camp. replaced by 2nd year Hainsey Smith banged up, missed 2 games already. Swing tackle Wells is on IR with calf injury. So basically they're using 3 new linemen from a year ago, and a 3rd stringer has played snaps at LT. Also they don't have Arians. It's a bit of a mess there right now.

Bills and Tavon Austin mutually part ways

Tavon Austin and TJ MCdonald for EJ Manuel Kiko Alonso and Marquise Goodwin. Kiko at least got us Shady (who played on our playoff team) so I'll call it a Bills win. -
It's a high ankle sprain - he's gonna struggle putting weight on it. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he doesn't finish the next game he starts. The already slow dude is going to be drew bledsoe out there.

Takes 2 to tango - any team signing him off the PS has to keep him on the 53 for 3 weeks. He's never played a down in the NFL and was drafted in 2020. There are like 30-40 WRs drafted every year plus UDFA's. There are a LOT of guys out there on Practice squads who are the exact same player as hodgins, and probably know their teams playbooks. -
Yeah - if he falls behind jackson and elam. Its not even necessarily for this year.
-
Why are we moving our best corner to safety?? Why not move jackson or benford?
-
I imagine he'd be a pretty good safety honestly.

WR - Almost as Decimated as Secondary
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall
GB has been doing this with jones and dillon. Its one of the few things that tends to work for them too. He had a nice camp before the foot injury. -
The steelers always just throw tons of crap to the sidelines. Stop the run, tackle and watch them punt or screw up on 3rd and long.

They traded for Diggs 2020. Drafted Davis and Hodgins in 2020. Drafted Stevenson 2021. Drafted Shakir 2022. They've used picks on a WR every year for the last 3 years. How is that 0 attention? You get 1 first round pick every year and most of the time buffalo will be picking after pick 25 - the best WRs will be gone by then. They let go of Beasley because he wasn't effective anymore, especially at the price point. I can see arguments around offensive line - especially the basham pick being a bit of a luxury pick. Cook was brought in as they wanted a pass catching back with speed. He has been here 4 games and everyone has already written him off. -
I'd probably go with 2nd round. In 2022 this was an extra 1.5M in cap space vs original round, that shouldn't be too hard to find and keeps us deep at an important position.

Allen is the Bills only short yardage option
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
It does not matter who the back is - teams stack the line and they push our linemen back. Wasn't our last offensive play this week a QB sneak? The problem on 4th and 1 is a drop is a turnover. So passing is always a bit riskier. I don't have faith in the offensive lines ability to run block literally any type of run call. Seems like crack tosses have worked, and some pin and pull type of stuff. But thats not usualy what you want to do when you need a yard. Add jet motion, hand some balls to mckenzie going laterally and get them questioning it so they aren't just pushing our guys back. Add a hard count. -
Jamison Crowder, reported with broken ankle
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall
What i was trying to say is - we wanted to make a move at WR and it didn't happen in FA because of cap space and it didn't happen in the draft because of where we picked in each round. They missed on kirk, ended up with crowder. Missed on Mckissic, ended up with Duke and selected Cook. Deebo did have an amazing play, and is generally an amazing player. So is Diggs. So i'm not sure what point you're trying to make. -

They attempted to get kirk - were priced out. I'm certain they were lookin at WR in 1 and 2, but they flew off the board. Shakir is a solid consolation prize. Davis is in year 3, and was slated to become #2. crowder and mckenzie were to upgrade the beasley snaps/targets, but also adding cook was supposed to add an element that was missing. They have just been using singletary to accomplish it so far, but they wanted to get the backs more involved in the passing game. He's probably injured again.
