He was open when i saw him - apparently allen did not see him.

I've been whatever on mckenzie for a bit now, but he was just flat out invisible in this one. He didn't really do anything wrong, he may have even been open. Just felt like Allens been staring down receivers for the last 6 quarters, and the ball is not coming out quick to anyone. Even the passes to mckenzie weren't on target, and he spiked some others to kumerow, singletary, diggs etc.

I'd feel a lot better about 1 if we had a 3rd linebacker who i thought was better at tackling than taron johnson. Davis could have come back a bit and high pointed it. I don't think he expected gardner to close as quickly.

Lot of takeaways though - and buffalo is 28th in turnovers this year. 6-2 and we've turned it over in every game but 1. Allen has got to clean that up. 4 bad picks in the last 2 games. Allen fumble in miami probably the difference there as they got the ball at our 6 (missed protection but still). Turnovers put them in the hole in baltimore (say what you will about the tip and knox effort, but thats a pretty tight hole to be throwing a pass in your own territory on 3rd down). Weird pitch in KC took points off the board. Games 10-10 at half because of the pick in the rams game. He needs to be smarter, take better care of the football, and take what the defense gives him at times.

On 2nd and 17 when you NEED to get like 8-10. Throw him towards the sideline and let him make a freakin play.

2nd pick shakir is wide tf open and allen never even looked to that side of the field. He had very poor eye discipline in this one and it showed. He didn't manipulate the jets at all when they played zone, it was actually quite the opposite.

Everyone just assumes McKenzie and Shakir are invisible. On the int to Gardner Shakir is wide open. Someone was wide open crossing on the near int he threw to diggs. Ball out faster. Run by passing.

I can't complain about players who don't get the ball thrown. Are they not open? I have no idea. But I saw Shakir wide open when he forced it to diggs for what would have been int number 3.

Definitely getting home a little bit more effectively than he has. He's always had the pressure numbers though.

Yeah but the new money starts in year 5, and they can keep the cap hit down for that year of the extension. So this version of miami has this year +2 more.

Their defense is loaded with names and high picks, but they aren't good for whatever reason. They had a really good game against buffalo on 3rd/4th/red zone conversions. But outside of that game, they've been pretty mediocre at all three.

I'm happy to let the dolphins run it down throats. They aren't good at running the ball.

I think the message was "buffalo is interested in Kamara" and his thought was "Im not moving kamara" - so there's no need for a phone call. none of them most likely. Much like KC - outside of Mahomes Kelce and JuJu. Buffalo has Allen Diggs and to a lesser extent davis and singletary. Everyone else will have good games but its a game flow type of thing.

Yep - If poyer misses some time he can contribute. Even if it's still Johnson as the backup, he has pressure knowing that there's a trusted player behind him. Beyond this - he can possibly get a look as a 3rd safety in some of those looks we tried against KC with Kelce.

I like this trade - they brought in cooks to do some of the pass catching elements, but i see him as sort of a spell back to singletary at times. 3 guys with different skill sets - but they all can pretty much play in this offense on any down.

Once teams start to play the pass more in those RPOs - the run piece tends to work better. I feel like they've been throwing diggs in the slot on a lot of these to increase the threat level there and make the LB enter those passing lanes, while allen just reads and hands it off.

He got a lot of listeners from the barstool job he took after he left the NFL. One of the reasons he left was basically stuff like this - he was paid a salary but he didn't know the goings-on outside of his podcasts, blogs, etc. He was talent, not a business partner. He's not just NFL either, he has wrestled at multiple WWE events, and was the color announcer on smackdown for like a year. He works for ESPN on College Gameday every Saturday, and does a ton of other ESPN stuff related to both college and pro football. Sending a Cease and Desist letter to an ESPN employee is just so strange and petty to me. I know the reasoning is likely NFL+ related and there will be EXCLUSIVE podcasts that will be able to air whatever they want. It's a podcast, they're all free - they just do mid-show ads for things like fanduel and stuff. He's basically made his own barstool sports - but without the controversy that accompanies working with Dave Portnoy.

One just types them in and another uses a graphic that could be weeks old.... Not really sure what constitutes a win in pass rush win rate, seems like a made up PFF stat. He has fewer sacks than miller, and a couple more pressures (hurries + knockdowns + sacks) per Pro football reference. But he also played 8 games vs. 7 for Miller, and considerably more snaps per game. Chubb has recorded 2 pressures in the last 3 games.

Broken ankle - anywhere from probably 10 at the low end to season ending. Depends how bad everything was, but we probably won't hear anything for another 4-6 weeks.

They had to do something Their Blitz rate was 28.4% to Buffalo's 14.7%. Buffalo has more sacks 21 to 15, a higher pressure rate 22% to 14.8%, Hurry% 5.5 to 4.7, and knockdown % 10.2 to 5.9. Their pass rush was trash without blitzing basically. 26 sacks in 49 games isn't elite pass rusher to me. He's a good player but not a gamechanger.

Tua's fine. He's only cheap for 1 more year though then things get complicated. I don't see a team like Miami able to win 3 road games to get to a super bowl though.
