  1. Probably disagree on the WRs. Take the bills and broncos. Bills are 1.6 and broncos are 2.6. When does "where you were drafted" go out? Jeudy is a 1st rounder, but i don't put him much ahead of Davis at all. Diggs is head and shoulders above sutton. Patrick is coming off an ACL, and Hamler is going to miss camp. How are they better than sherfield, harty, and shakir? Bills and Browns 1.6 to 1.5. Diggs is better than cooper. Davis is better than peoples jones. They just added elijah moore i guess? I dunno, just feels like they don't weight diggs enough in these rankings.
  2. I'm not a big fan of an 1st round TE. They almost never produce much in year 1, and we have a big hole at LB, could use a WR, and just generally getting stouter on the offensive and defensive lines.
  3. Cook early on didn't seem ready for the offensive responsibilities. I know there was one either INT or near INT where he did an option route incorrectly (turned the wrong way, another time he ran into coverage instead of sitting), his blocking wasn't nearly as strong as DS (which is important since teams starting blitzing us more as the season wore on), and he didn't seem to have much in the way of confidence coming out last year for whatever reason. To me, he was an example of a player who needed more practice reps to get comfortable. Hines they tried to jam some specific plays and packages for, and i think that was limiting because it felt like if he was on the field the ball was going to him. To me, he isn't a gadget player - just use him like a 3rd down running back. He's fast as hell, and should be fine getting 80-100 carries, and 50-75 targets. Knox usage was puzzling, but seemed a bit matchup dependent. He also seemed to suffer from offensive line challenges and had to help a bit more often than Dorsey probably wanted. Having the right tackles struggle that much means knox is blocking on quite a few downs.
  4. Yep! Neither do players who were "released" out of an existing contract.
  5. I mean... ideally he doesn't play at all.
  6. Assuming they don't sign anyone they should be on track. Net loss Edmunds Keenum Singletary (johnson probably doesnt count) Net Gain Mcgovern Harty (Allen, and Sherfield probably don't count)
  7. Considering Miami had 231 yards of offense, 2 turnovers, and 4/16 on 3rd downs - i'd probably have put the loss solely at the feet of Allen. I don't think they were outcoached in Miami - Allen was a total mess. Dorsey didn't call a beautiful game but it was 17-0 after 4 possessions, and easily could have been more if Buffalo scored on the first drive.
  8. It's tough too because it feels like everyone was banged up by the end of the year. I feel like Oliver was a constant on injury reports most of the season.
  9. The way we struggled in that game was... a lot of Allen making mistakes. 2 picks set them up with great field position, a big return set them up again, then the coup de grace was the fumble TD return. He even fumbled again up 3 there at the end. Then we play cincy and it seems as if he doesn't want to mistakes and just seemed totally off. Dorsey's game call was off in Miami, and it was off again in cincy. Nobody seemed to know how to fix it either.
  10. Bates is a lock unless they find a willing trade partner as his 2023 salary is fully guaranteed. He's played all over, and i think he's likely our future center. Boettger - Easily replaced with no risk or dead cap. From a guard depth position, you can do a lot worse. He's been here for 5 years, started 17 games. Considering how many random people played, i think he's pretty rock solid here if healthy. Quessenberry, Van Roten, and Hart played about 900 snaps between the 3 (hart played some tackle eligible) and i'd put him as an upgrade over all 3 as a guard. Doyle - Easily replaced with no risk or much of a dead cap number. Current swing tackle, but i expect them to add a tackle in the draft which likely pushes Doyle to that fringe number 9 (basically now in competition with literally every other lineman). If a new tackle supplants brown, then brown moves to primary swing tackle and tackle eligible.
  11. I liked Kumerow a bit. He was doing alright, started with Gabe out during that titans game. Big body for blocking, and honestly not a bad player with the ball in his hands. Then the ankle, then i think he really screwed it up the 2nd time. He might have had back surgery or something too - so he's probably a PS candidate at this point because you can't trust his availability.
  12. I'm ok with a tackle in the first if they have some flex to move inside. Bates and Brown shouldn't be guaranteed starters after last season.
  13. I'd probably rather have Hamlin playing than either Lewis or Mayden. Dawkins Brown Doyle Morse McGovern Bates Boettger There's some others on the roster, but i think those 7 are pretty much locks. I'd like to see another tackle to push brown and Doyle. And interior i think they need to add some youth.
  14. No way this guy could run a 4.5 forty anymore. He almost ate himself out of the league a year or two ago too. Now that he's a UFA though he's probably focused on working out etc. I wouldn't commit to anything beyond a year.
  15. Mark anderson! 4 years 20 million. He played what 5 games? Merriman... 2 seasons... 2 sacks. Seems like a nice guy, but he didn't want to be a good football player.
  16. I think I'd rather have elliott.
  17. I mean... They paid Aaron jones, then drafted Dillon in the 2nd after drafting a backup QB in the first. Jones is still good too, very strange. He's always been outspoken and opinionated. In many ways he contradicts himself too.
  18. Hurts both teams free agent wise... as both either have cap allocated, or have to keep space.
  19. The jets don't want to trade anything to the packers. The packers don't want to give away an asset for nothing. Draft approaching so both teams are waiting for the other to blink.
  20. Nothing dead if they trade him, new team picks up the tab. 100% dead if released.
  21. With Brady retired... There are 3 players left in the league who have won the MVP. Rodgers has won 4, Mahomes 2, Jackson 1. Unless you get a player - Maybe they want Wilson. Watch them get Breece Hall - packers love running backs for some reason 🙂
  22. I for one hope that a healthy gabe pushes him down the depth chart.
  23. I think that early draft pick is probably WR5 to start
  24. He was 19 when drafted but 20 by the fall when he played here. So i think he graduated at 17, played at VT from 17-19.
  25. I agree with you, thats just absolutely not true. He wasn't even the worst running back on the team last year!!! That would probably fall to Zack Moss. Mike tolbert... Frank Gore.... Reggie Bush... Tashard Choice.... Chris Ivory.... Bryce Brown... We can do this all day. Comparing his numbers to CJ spiller... Spiller gained more yards 3321 to 3151, but had fewer TDs 12 to 16. Also spiller fumbled 17 times to singletarys 13.
