  1. Honestly we've played a tough group of rush defenses. Baltimore was #1 a year ago and they're still pretty solid on that part of defense. Miami is 11th this year - but they played buffalo and Baltimore so you have the top 2 running QBs adding a ton of yards. Conventional running against them this year hasn't been successful. Tennessee was #2 last year, and had a bad game against the giants but they just held indy to 38 yards rushing LAR who was #6 a year ago Shuffling line didn't help in week 3. We know we're a passing team, but they need to figure out how to run more effectively against good defenses. The short passes and stuff are a run game extension, but we need to be able to hand the ball off and gain some easy yards. The RPO pass portion is why we're just walking down the field half the game though.
  2. He had 6 snaps against Baltimore. Legit barely played. We're complaining about him gaining yards now? What are we doing?
  3. Moss played 6 snaps. And Cook played 2.
  4. Miami is tremendously fast - he definitely played a bit scared on a couple of deeper passes.
  5. I'd say it was a combination. He lost a lot of the pocket presence after that. He either checked down or was sacked.
  6. 2021: Jonathan taylor led the league in rushing, and Chubb was 2nd. Their QBs were Wentz and Mayfield. Their Leading WRs were Pittman and Peoples-Jones.
  7. Barkley had sub 4 ypc last year with trash oline. Their LG, C, RG, and RT were all replaced and now he looks good again. Having a bell cow running back doesn't do anything for your offense other than add fantasy value. I'm not a huge moss fan, but to act like the offensive line is performing well is simply untrue.
  8. Looked like he kicked it with the arch of his foot too - something went wrong there.
  9. Tyrod was great in that game - we couldn't stop Jay Ajayi with Rex's patented 10 man defense.
  10. Hydes looked literally like nothing.. like when he laid down after i thought maybe a stinger? Like the player stretched his neck too far to the side? Which apparently it did enough to tear some stuff.
  11. He was also a lot better than the alternative at the time.
  12. To me it looked like a bad kick that was tipped because it wasn't kicked clean. The problem was that everyone was down field already. If we could have gone down with closer to 15 seconds left you can theoretically collapse on the ground and get the 10 second runoff to attend to injury.
  13. Sigh - they held on the play!! He had a nice fumble punch.
  14. Norman wasn't that bad was he? Him and Jackson both had some starts and played when white and wallace missed time in 2020.
  15. I think there are missed opportunities outside the first though: 1 - moving on from Teller as a prospect in favor of flexibility with their depth. 2 - Epenesa hasn't been a major impact player yet, there are multiple options around that pick that are more impact players along the line (ezra cleveland, damien lewis, jonah jackson 3 - Basham over Humphrey in 2021 after doubling down with rousseau after epenesa in 2020. 4 - Elam in 2022. Obviously we don't know anything yet - but the next 2 players off the board were tyler smith and tyler linderbaum. We certainly had the ability to draft either. Likely was competition for morse and brown, and doesn't improve the guards around them either
  16. Need to run better though. Especially in the red zone/short yardage situations
  17. Singletary definitely took most of the snaps in the past game. I know with the tennessee game they have traditionally had a good run defense, and they had a weak secondary so matchup wise - we should shred them in the air. Miami blitzed a ton early in this one so buffalo got comfortable in the shotgun giving allen a bit more space. The multiple botched snaps under center was likely a concern as well.
  18. Boettger and Bates outplayed him. Brown shifted williams inside to RG and all but parked him on the bench.
  19. He wasn't good last year either. Looked both small and out of shape - as if he expected to be starting at Center. Then they re-did Morse's deal all but sealing his fate as depth center and guard.
  20. This is to entice money on both sides by Vegas - they open lines based on htat and adjust if the money heads to far in either direction
  21. Yeah, bass kicked it with like the middle part of his foot. Not sure if he planted wrong or what. I think it was tipped too because the kick was not great.
  22. Why would we want landon collins? He blew out his achilles in 2020 and played linebacker in 2021.
  23. The alternatives are Cam lewis, Siran Neal, and Jamarcus Ingram. Neal is basically a nickel corner - lewis has played inside and out and safety i think - Ingram is a rookie from the MAC. You should get white back soon. You should hopefully get some good news on Jackson. Benford has a hand injury but he'll be able to be active in a few weeks as well. We're looking at a few week fill-in.
