no. you don't worry about next season when you're trying to win a super bowl.

My issue is the 3 of them have a combined 3 career interceptions, and 0 forced fumbles. White has 16 and 5. Takeaways are important against the top level competition in the playoffs. Many times the difference between wins and losses. Jackson will also be due a raise in 2023 as his contract ends after this year. The RFA tender will be pricey cap wise, and an extension only makes sense if there's a logical place for him.

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation

3 years 36 million - insanely high pay for a back. Also none of it is guaranteed. -

Why not? Rams used draft capital to get Von Miller last year. People get rentals all the time. -
Week 6: Bills at CHIEFS 10/16 4:25pm

Maybe? KC did lose to indy 2 weeks ago, in a game where they had 2 short fields. They've had kicking issues since butker went out but I'd still say that occaisionally they just don't show up all the way. Its a long season - happens to pretty much everyone a few times. Plus teams occasionally put their best football out there specifically to play you. Hardman is very fast, but i believe he's got a foot injury at the moment. MVS is also very fast. Both 4.3-4.4 guys. But neither has Hill level speed or acceleration. -

You can cut him for 0 dead money. -
Mahomes would have been great anywhere - but putting him with Reid has made him even greater.

Bills finally sign a Safety: Jared Mayden

From what i can tell - once you use someone on the PS a couple of times, you eventually have to either move them to the active roster or move them off the PS entirely. So for someone like Ingram or Emili, you get some NFL film - but you get released because they can't bring you back on the roster again. -
Christian McCaffrey rumors

He's about as productive as our trio across the same number of carries FWIW. -

His contract has term so you get no actual comp pick. -

CMC would be a one year rental, with the option to re-structure. I'm not giving up much at all to acquire him. I also don't see how his addition does much to move the needle in either direction. You make the move if you think that he is the piece you need to get over the hump in the 2022 playoffs - no other reason to do it. He will not produce that much more in the season than the combination of our running backs. Absolutely agree. He made it through 5 weeks so I'm just supposed to forget the massive injury red flag? -

Von miller was a pass rusher (Premium position), on an expiring deal. Even saying CMC's deal is basically expiring - the rams traded a 2nd and 3rd in 2022 draft for him. I would not offer anywhere near that much for CMC. -

I'm not giving up a 1st round pick for a running back on a bad contract. He has like no salary this year. -
None of the rest of that deal is guaranteed. Or flat out cut - you're trading for him for 1 year and you have the option basically to keep him again at that salary, or re-work the deal.

WR Playing Time Going Forward

I think Kumerow is probably active over hodgins simply for blocking and special teams. -
WR Playing Time Going Forward

He was perpetually injured in college too. You take shots on players like this late in the draft because... they could turn out to be good players. You can't teach speed, ball tracking, etc. But an oft injured player can't be relied upon. -

I think Stevenson is likely to either sit on IR indefinitely, or get an injury settlement. -

I think Mckenzie getting more jet and motion snaps can help fix some of the issues in the run game. Not every time, but the occaisional mckenzie pitch/handoff has to keep them honest on that motion. Might help open up some cutback lanes for the backs. -
Who does Tre take over for when he returns?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably just going to split some snaps until someone takes the job. Or keep moving people around. -
Week 5: Steelers at Bills 10/9 1pm

If people are healthy enough to play, they will play. Phillips and oliver need to play - we need the PS call ups for WR and CB/S. Since lewis has been playing some at safety, i assume it'd be a boundary WR and corner. -
Fanduel sportsbook. Thats my Craps strategy - if im in vegas i decide in advance how many games i want to play - and how much money for each. If i go to a casino in buffalo I'll take out how much i want to play with in the ATM and that goes right on the table. I don't reach for my wallet again until im cashing out.

I have a few: Matt Cassel and Jerry Hughes were on my plane in the offseason we signed Cassel. After this I KNEW Cassel didn't have the mental makeup to be a good QB. Cassel - had priority boarding in first class. hung out away from the gate after he checked in. basically waited with sunglasses on and snuck on the plane, then sat in the window seat with his hat and glasses covering his face. Hughes - Sat at the gate, signed autographs and talked to fans, with his wife and kids in tow. While eating fried chicken. This past spring (maybe cinco de mayo, place was a freaking zoo) i went to Maizal in East Amherst and McKenzie and Moss were there with a few of the rookies. I know i saw Shakir Cook and maybe Bernard? In any case, they sat in the middle of the restaurant and i believe we sang happy birthday to Bernard and then obviously they got the restaurant bumping the shout song. The last one was way back in my younger days at encore. Met Eric wood and a few other linemen. Wood was quiet, Chris Hairston made out with my friend and was among the largest humans ive ever met.
