  1. I hate advertisements on the jumbo tron.
  2. I am not saying he should be on the list, just pointing out he was not "junk".
  3. Looking at a "Wiki" list of qb's with the most career wins, Favre is #1. He could not have sucked! Like it or not this is more of an opinion list, since stats do not mean a lot when comparing the old NFL to today. Interesting thread though.
  4. If we cannot compare players from different eras, than the topic should not contain the words "all time". Modern era quarterbacks might not even survive if they played by the rules from the 50's and 60's. You make a good point.
  5. Imagine also having Jackson and Spiller both healthy all season? The Bills defense is consistently inconsistent. They play brilliantly and then give up huge plays - run and pass defense. My annual wish (one of them anyway) is for a great tight end.
  6. Seattle vs Denver in the Super Bowl is *almost* an all AFC match-up, since Seattle was in the AFC until the NFL realignment a few years back. Nice trivia: Seattle is the only team to have played in both the AFC and NFC Championship Games I will root for whoever plays NE.
  7. Your response must be in the form of a question.
  8. The NFL does not have a complete copy of the first "Super Bowl". Blame the Bills?
  9. A 25% confidence vote is good, coming from you "Badold", and wtf is a propsect. Merry Christmas!!
  10. Yes, the Bills must always beat the Pats and the Fish.
  11. Remember, the previous week, Houston KILLED Buffalo in Houston. Add to that that bars could show the game through satellite or network "air" broadcast from Syracuse then.
  12. "Fletcher holds the NFL record for consecutive starts by a linebacker with 213. The four-time Pro Bowler has played in 254 straight games; he's the league's active leader and the fourth player to surpass 250 consecutive games played."
  13. I get to stay home on Christmas Day with pay. Wow. Actually, I will be seeing the whole family, THAT makes me happy. Anything else is icing on the cake.
  14. So instead of learning how to win a game because there is no playoff berth at stake, the Bills should just tank the season and count on the questionable competency of the front office in the draft to be our salvation in 2014. I understand now. I have seen the light.
  15. Bingo! People used to carry cases of beer into the Rockpile.
  16. I was disappointed that he chose to single out Hammer's Lot. At a minimum, he did not have to give ONE tailgate site a name. Hammer does his best to keep the animals in their cages.
  17. I think this may have been an attempt to show that if Kelly had been judged on QB stats alone, people would be screaming "off with his head!" (and they were at times). Like you, Gerry, I was really hoping this season and this team was going to head in the direction of 1986, not 1984, sigh. BTW: I was looking at stats for the hell of this before reading this post. STATS for EJ and a 1988 Kelly were quite similar, but the TEAM win/loss record was 12-4 and they had the "blizzard defense" too! I have not given up on EJ, but I am also not sold.
  18. It is not easy being a Bills fan. <sigh>
  19. I could say the same in the late 80's and most of the 90's. I just wasn't a dick about it. Your day will come.
  20. Chandler's fumble within two minutes of regulation in field goal range, was a coaching error?
  21. Good point, Cerebus.
  22. I would LOVE to go to the Miami game, just because it is a tradition to see the Bills play them in the snow. Tradition started when I got tossed out of the "Rock" for throwing snowballs at the Fish when I was 17. I do not care what the Bills record is - that game is always worth it. (I do not throw snowballs anymore though) Hope my luck and schedule changes between now and then!
  23. I said: "If the ref's decision was that he impeded the play and the result would have been a TD they would have flagged it and awarded him a TD" I should have said "could" not "would"!
  24. I am not outraged, I just think he did it intentionally, and should have been flagged.
  25. If the ref's decision was that he impeded the play and the result would have been a TD, they would have flagged it and awarded him a TD. But that is the real world. They showed him after the play, knowing he got away with it, smirking like a kid walking away from a candy jar with his pockets full.
