  1. Doc, I was at camp today and Kolb is pitiful. Tuel looked much better. Unless Kolb does a remarkable turnaround, he looks like #3.
  2. ...and remembered the 'good old days' the WNYTBDGPS used to take up two or three full tables! It was nice seeing you, my friend!
  3. I will make sure I am there at noon! see-ya!
  4. Who is IN? I am trying to make it... lots of family stuff to do today. Jay, by any chance do you have Jason's air mattress ? I should have asked a week ago!
  5. Happy Birthday, Harriet!
  6. How is Art Donovan LESS relevant to current football than many players discussed here? Just curious... 'Fatso' is a hilarious look at pro football back in the day. Players came to training camp to get in shape. Take his stories with a grain of salt but I would have loved to sit down with him and plenty of beer and sandwiches and listen to his "tall tales" laced with a lot of facts!
  7. Corporate tent people do not even have to be football fans. I got one seat there by luck once. Most people are "netwoking" - eating and getting tanked. It is a paid perk. Sent on my C64 using*upchuck.
  8. That is the way I look at it; celebrate every day! My oldest GRANDDAUGHTER starts college this fall. Youngest grandson is one year old. I was born the same year that Playboy was published with a nude centerfold of Maryn Monroe.
  9. I strum chords (as opposed to playing guitar) and sing songs with friends. Mostly the Band, Taj Mahal, Dylan, Bromberg... I also play a Jew's harp if it's blue grassy enough. I have a 30 year old Guild/Madeira folk guitar and a 1961 Gretsch hollow body electric. My grandson plays bass and loves to jam with me and my buddy. He LOVES 60's to 80's rock, along with some contemporary stuff.
  10. One day early, and the sold out games are still sold out. Opening day is going to cost an arm and a leg. Just Jack's echo....
  11. Has Belinda been seen lately? I miss her.
  12. Thanks to all! Had the whole family there, from almost one year old to 79! Life is good!
  13. Regarding 1983 - didn't this follow two consecutive 2-14 seasons? At the time 8-8 sounded GREAT!
  14. Heights do not bother me - I would do that (when I was younger anyway). I used to go "over the wall" on a rope at Letchworth Park with a chainsaw to trim brush when I worked there, back in the 70's
  15. Doing well! Please check for any further updates "off the wall". Thanks, Eric!
  16. FYI: Post walk thoughts A little sore this morning, after walking 5+ miles yesterday and getting a crown started at the dentist today, but feeling very well. My MS remains in moderation, so any side effects are minor. One of my friends who did the walk is 64 and has had double hip replacement TWICE! He was very happy he could do the walk. First time he put the new hips to the test. We had almost 30 over to the house for pizza, salads, cakes and other desserts, snacks, (and a few brews), and even a pinyata for the kids Almost a perfect day. One friend who came to meet us at the walk is in the hospital after having chest pains. He did not come to walk, but had to walk a long way in the heat TO the site. He left the park by ambulance. So far so good but they have not released him yet. We are praying for his speedy and healthy recovery. Thanks again for your generosity! You Rock!
