  1. I agree with you on defense, however I believe Dennison was an absolute dud at OC and he made our O look worse than it was. If Daboll runs the same Offense as NE we will be ok and I think 8-8 at worst
  2. I agree. On a side note, if Andre Tippett is in Cornholio should be in also not taking into consideration of his off season actions...
  3. oh great another thread going Political..LOL...
  4. The facts are Father time stops for noone. It is just a matter of time before the Patriots time is up, then all theyre fans will dissapear as quickly as they hopped on that wagon. I do have a thought that say's Robert Kraft will not allow Brady to be thrown to the woodpile when his time is about up as most of the other Pats not named Bruschi were. He will retire a Patriot on his own terms not Belichecks, which could lead to Belicheck moving on or retiring .
  5. The Bills Wr position has been a debacle for years, I do not know how an NFL team can let it be this bad for so long. They should have locked up Robert Woods the year before he became a free agent and that would have helped out. Kelvin Benjamin is one cut on the field from being done for the year and he really has not shown he can be counted on due to his injuries. I think the front office knows this but are waiting to get all the other pieces in line first.
  6. I'll say this, I was in the Marines for along time, I am as patriotic as they come, but to this day I have never understood or for that matter wanted to hear the National Anthem before a sporting event. I Stand out of respect but I wish they would not even sing or play it. Save it for the fourth of July fireworks, Memorial Day, Veterans Day. Make it special to hear and stand for when it means the most, not 10 times a day. It takes the specialness out of it by overusing it IMO
  7. Sweet, bout time we have a man who stands by his words..Good for him
  8. I remember his diving catch on the sideline in the home opener in 1992 vs the LA Rams. It was one of the best catches I have ever seen. I have looked online forever to find it and I can't.
  9. I think what makes this leading up to the draft so exciting for me are the multiple QBs projected to be quality NFL starters and Franchise Face Players. Add that to the multiple of picks we have in the draft to enable the Bill to trade up and get the QB they want. Now add the intrigue of who is going to be selected where, how many Qbs picked in front of the BIlls', and the curiosity of when and how far to trade up with and with who. This next week is going to be exciting and hopefully ends with a huge smile for us Bills faithful. I think the Bills trade up however I have no clue who with or who they want. I am not a big fan of Rosen however it is not based on his play moreso his Concussion history already. I dont think you put that many assets on a player who has an injury history. I think Darnold will give someone a very good QB, however if I am going to swing for the fences in the bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded down by 3 and a 3-0 count I am going after Mayfield. He to me does it all. He needs to tone it way down but who doesnt at a young age.
  10. I think your right. Every one of those traits Beane stated he wants in a QB Mayfield has plenty of.
  11. I would add Jerome Bettis as mos over-rated. I still do not believe he made the HOF
  12. There is no way Rudliph lasts till the 2nd rd. Pittsburgh and NE are going to draft a qb and if he is there when thry draft one of the 2 are going to take him
  13. Give them our two first rdrs and a 2nd rd this year plus next years 1 and zay jones for the 2nd pick in this yrs draft and odelll as long as he signs a long term deal..he is a headache but if u can sign him Mccoy can put him in his place..
  14. Back when we were good in the 90's I and a bunch of my good friends made the trip to ASU to watch the Bills vs Cardinals for a Sunday Night football game. We ended up winning the game and Henry Jones picked up an onside kick and ran it back for a td at the end of the game. In our section of Bills fans was this fan. The Bills used to put him on the Video Board and he would use Marv Levy's quote "Where else would you rather be"
  15. I thought that way for a bit but then for some reason I always end up thinking when was the last time a guard was picked that high and they are few and far between. The last one drafted in the top five was Leonard Davis by the Cardinals in 2001. I realize Nelson is one heck of a Guard some even say he is as good as John Hannah was coming out of college, however when you are drafting that high you need an impact player and the I think Elway will draft someone who puts points on the board or take them away.
  16. I do not know how all these moves will play out on the field but it looks great so far. It sure is nice to not have an idiot running this front office for the first time in 20 years.
  17. Bryce Paup light...Nice move
  18. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS......Thats awesome man.....
  19. Pat's fan has short memories. I remember when the Pats threw a hail mary to Ben Coates against the Bills and they called Pass Interference and won the game..LOL
  20. The original hit was as close to a personal foul not being called that I have seen in the NFL, however after the tackle was over the defender drove his junk into Tyrod's facemask to add insult and that should have definitely been a personal foul. How in the world they did not throw a flag for that was beyond comprehension and is another reason I have soured on the WWNFL (World Wrestling National Football League).
  21. Well it definitely was not a great win. If I wasn't a Bills fan I would have turned the game off in the second quarter and watched re-runs of the Andy Griffith show due to the ineptness of both teams. The game was putrid to watch and the Bill's offense was no match for even an average college team. The Jaguars offense was not much better, they will get rolled next week. As far as what Incognito did or did not say who cares. In the grand scheme of life I only care about the final score when it comes to football anymore. Take a knee don't take a knee, get concussed or not it doesn't matter. Call each other names or don't, keep it to yourselves and just play the damn game.
  22. I like the fact he does not throw many interceptions, I do not like the 3rd down and over 7 where he seems to checkdown underneath the 1st down to make, and I do not like when it is 3rd down and short and he goes to the deep pattern way to often. That is so frustrating to watch. I think they will go after Kirk Cousins and release or trade Tyrod after. If Cousins is not signed I would expect to move up to get a qb. On a side note watch the Patriots deal their 2nd rd pick from the niners and their first round to move up to the mid first to draft a QB.
  23. I am 49 years old and I have 2 sons that were born before the homerun pukeback, they have never witnessed a good football season in theyre life other than a bad ending, We hugged and cried tonight... I didn't think it was going to be meaningful to just make the playoffs but I have to tell you..BOY WAS I FREAKING WRONG...DAMN....
  24. I grew up in Dallas Texas so my first game was in the season of 1977. The Cowboys vs The Eagles. We sat on the 45 yardline 10 rows behind the Eagles bench. I still remember every second of that day. Tony Dorsett scored his first touchdown, an 84 yard run down the sideline to secure the win. Harold Carmichael threw his helmet on the sideline in disgust. My first Bills game was against the Raiders in 1983. We sat in the tunnel endzone and Marc Wilson was the qb. I remember thinking to myself, man this crowd is a thousand times louder than any Cowboys game I had ever been too. I instantly fell in love and not soon after that I became a Bills fan for life. I took a lot of heat from my Cowboy friends during our Super Bowl losses for being a traitor..LOL
