  1. I wanted to see two things out of this game, Allen not giving the ball away while running or making bad decisions with the football and Edmunds stuffing the run when he was the focal point of the offense running the football. Allen made really good decisions in his reads and throwing the football, a few throws got away from him, however he threw the ball and moved the offense really well. But he is a disaster with the football when he runs. He makes amazing runs, but then he gives the ball up way too many times in a game. You do that in a playoff game and you get what happened against the Texans last year. I was very disappointed in that aspect of his game. Edmunds is still a liability at the point of attack when the offense runs right at him. Side to side away from him he is a beast. Good teams will make us pay. We will still win more than we lose but if those 2 points do not change we will not go all the way. You can not give the ball away so easy like he does against good teams.
  2. This isn't an argument, or a potshot, it is an observation from myself as an opinion. I know they can beat the majority of teams with this defense, but they have issues that a good coach will take advantage of. Benefit of the doubt or not. I hope I am wrong and you are correct, and they roll through every offense in the league. The secondary is amazing, the dl is solid, the lb corps is weak. When a good running team that can also throw the ball comes up against our defense it will be a tough win for us. That's all I am saying
  3. Yes, i do, it was the Jets...With Adam as the play caller. These games count in the standings no doubt, but if you want to win a Super Bowl, what we watched today will not cut it. When you raise the bar of compete the level of the standard of play needs to raised also.
  4. He will be just fine, the wind was all over the place today in WNY, it is a learning curve. Stick with him he will fight his way through it.
  5. And that is why I just don't understand the lack of going after another game playing LB to fill this defense out with. Edmunds just get's absolutely owned at the point of attack on runs at him. He would be a devastating all time outside lb'r in this league, but he is overwhelmed at the run stopping point. They need a MLB and all our LB'ing woes go away IMO..
  6. I was looking forward to grilling some well-aged primo steaks, but it looks like my plans of a nice day of tailgating in my backyard, and patio is being destroyed by this downpour. Just like this whole year has been, LOL. But alas, there is still the game, Pizza and wings it is.😃
  7. I went with Cleveland, taking a shot that their QB puts it together and their defense plays up to their potential.
  8. Fall asleep at the wheel, run off the road, kill a young child, then our superior intelligent Governor turns the 33 from 55 to 35. Because we all know the faster you drive your car the more apt you to fall asleep at the wheel.
  9. I would rather not have the National Anthem sung or played at any sporting event. Play it when it means something, July 4th, Memorial day etc. It is overused and it devalues the significance and sacrifice Americans have made for it. It should not be symbol to protest it should be an honor to hear and salute. If you woukd like to protest, hold a sign and march with your fellow protesters.
  10. They probably shot him out of view
  11. Just send em back the Video ofChinese man run over by there military’s tank and tell them to stfu
  12. Gonna be hysterical when he gets some injury and hardly plays a down for the Bucs.
  13. I was the very first fan to go at it in the tunnel with him . I’m in a few tv highlights and pics. I freaking hate him with a passion. Don’t want to see that name on the back of any Bills jersey ever. Don’t care if it’s his son grandson or whoever. He is a class act jerk. Screw him and his family
  14. This is so wrong on so many different levels..lol
  15. They did not show the replay at all on that during the game when it happened. I think everyone just assumed because he was in there so fast it had to be Offside. Everyone was wrong. That was amazing. That should be allowed to be reviewed also. I say review everything until they get it right. Or review nothing.
  16. I saw the Ravens blitz and the Steelers just rushed the four for the most part. Thats a big reason. Guarantee the Pats come after him.
  17. That play should be a penalty. You can't freaking punch someone with the hopes of jarring the ball loose. If that is the case then just start punching the hell out of everyone that has possession. Start drafting MMA fighters to force fumbles. LOL...What a freaking joke. SHould be a unsportsmanlike and a automatic ejection and fine. I know it is not a rule now but going forward they need to change that immediately
  18. My thought on Daboll is, schematically his plays are some of the best I have seen as far dictating the play and using the strengths of his players. However, his play calling is horrendous when his offense goes up against top level defenses. We ran Singletary 17 times, he should have had 21-24 rushes. He is the type of back the more runs he gets the more apt he is t break off a few long ones. He provides extended pressure on a defense. By running a RPO and not having your QB run more than 1 time defeats the purpose of a RPO. Lineup in a conventional offense and pound the ball with sweeps, counters and play action. Then the screen passes are useful, the deep ball might have a chance and your massive O LINE is in attack mode instead of defend mode. And why on earth are you throwing a bomb on a very makeable 3rd and 4 when you haven not completed one long bomb all year? It doesn't make a any common sense at all. Now, it wasn't all his fault we lost, there were 3 big drops that were potential big plays, Knox, Singletary(flare pass) and Beasely on the sideline. Cody Ford missed a huge block on a 3rd down that had he just paid even an iota of attention, too what was right in front of him would have been a huge gain. Had even 2 of those mistakes not been made would have likely changed the outcome. His play calling too me is so freaking frustrating it trumps his play schematics. He and the special teams are what will doom this football season for us fans..
  19. I have a feeling that the claim was two-fold. One to put Hauschka on notice, second to male sure the Pats did not get him. IMO
  20. I know this is not part of the topic, however I must voice my opinion on our own John Murphy. I can not listen to him, he tries too hard to make the good plays imaginative and he fails miserably. His touchdown calls are a failed try of announcing greatness at every try. He is a bad version of Jon Gurtler when he was the PBP for the Sabres till he was fired for the HOLY ZHITNIK call...LOL
  21. We beat the Ravens next week I think we win out and win the AFC EAST and the top seed. Mark it...
  22. I agree, and the Raiders should stay in Oakland. The NFL should pay for the stadiums they play in. Then they can hold all the profits from sales. as payment by the owner till agreed price is payed. It solves all the problems. The NFL made almost 16 Billion in revenue last year (https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/2019/07/15/nfl-revenue-owners-players-billions/ )and is pushing to grow that to 27 billion by the year 2027. There is no need to make tax payers pay for a stadium, so they can pay to go see the team play in it. They can fund it themselves and charge whatever they deem for tickets or PSL'S. The owner is responsible for the repayment. If the State wants to help then put it to the taxpayers for a vote. If not see ya. All this team moving around is nothing but greed. The NFL has become greedy, and the players they have are following suit. I love the game, I love to watch it, however the past 10-12 years have become increasingly frustrating to watch, not even taking into consideration the play of my team I follow. From too many commercials, to referees making the game a joke with calls and non calls alike. I laugh at 4 teams in the 2 biggest markets (NY, LA) having to share stadiums. How much more greedier can the league be. They collect PSL's from 2 different teams per stadium. Double dipping. The product they put out is hard to watch, has some superior shady characters, some who beat women, children or each other over the head with helmets. For real, what is going on. Maybe we should all walk away lol. Im depressing myself even more as reread this post. I will end this rant now.....
  23. I would give him a shot at MLB, move 49 to the outside...Just try anything..Heck Randy White started out as a MLB, stunk it up then they moved him to DT and he was a HOFer. Oliver is too small to play DT IMO in the NFL. He is very quick and can move..
