THe Bills have already announced that they will have two captains - Allen and Bernard. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-announce-2025-team-captains-josh-allen-terrel-bernard

and don't forget Belichek's defense that stopped the Bills Juggernaut

Poyer doesn't come in unless Rapp or Bishop are injured. You have to let Bishop play and take his lumps. We need to look at the big picture of winning the SB. Anyways, the cornerback position is a lot more tenuous and with heavy question marks including Benford who appears to have something (bad) going for him
-
Knox also is 2nd on the all-time Bills list for receiving TDs in the playoffs. He has 6 and is behind only to the 9 by Andre Reed. Knox has been very valuable contributor in the playoffs.

I feel he will re-negotiate his contract and take a massive pay cut to stay back in Buffalo (more like a $5M per year deal) thank you for sharing this easier to read. I will copy it back to the original post

ESPN predicts Bills win Super Bowl…and I agree

I see Detroit regressing this year. They lost Ben Johnson -
and very different in Pittsburgh where Tomlin had winning seasons with average to below average talent. If he had the same talent as the Ravens, he is winning a couple of SB. In fact, if there is disappointment at the end of this season in Buffalo and Pittsburgh, I wouldn't mind going after Tomlin.

and yet we all watched them Bills religiously 1000s (10s of thousands for me) miles away from their (in)action. Go Bills !!!

I wrote down my thoughts on Knox and did some research on his overall career and what he means to Buffalo and what Buffalo means to him. I believe he is a Buffalo Bills for LIFE. I gave my data to chatGPT and got its help to write a polished article. Thought will share it here for my TBD friends Dawson Knox: Buffalo’s Tight End of Grit and Glory From Walk-On to Bills Mainstay Dawson Knox’s story has never been about the easy path. A quarterback in high school who battled injuries, he walked on at Ole Miss with little fanfare and few catches to his name. Scouts saw raw athleticism more than polish. But what stood out was his drive—the quiet, relentless work ethic that transformed him from a forgotten prospect into an NFL draft pick. When the Buffalo Bills selected him in the third round of the 2019 draft, it wasn’t just about measurables. It was about potential. About a player who embodied resilience, toughness, and the kind of determination that fit the DNA of Buffalo itself. Plays That Feel Like Buffalo Knox’s game isn’t glamorous. It’s gritty. He’s as proud of a key block as he is of a touchdown. He’ll fight through defenders for three extra yards that won’t make the highlight reel but might win a drive. One play that encapsulates him came in January 2022, during the Bills’ wild-card playoff against the Patriots. On Buffalo’s opening drive, Josh Allen rolled right and fired a pass Knox’s way. The ball seemed destined to sail out of reach—until Knox twisted his body mid-air, extended to the limit, and somehow reeled it in for the touchdown. It was Buffalo’s first score in a game that would become one of the franchise’s most dominant playoff performances. And it was pure Dawson Knox: impossible catch, relentless focus, refusing to give up on a play that looked dead. By the night’s end, Knox had found the end zone twice—and came within a single yard of a third touchdown. It wasn’t just production, it was persistence, the kind of never-say-die performance that set the tone for the entire team. “I trust Dawson. When the game’s on the line, I know he’s going to fight for that ball.” – Josh Allen In 2021, Knox broke Buffalo’s single-season touchdown record for tight ends. But even in that career year, his identity wasn’t the scoreboard—it was the sacrifice. The willingness to take a hit over the middle. The unselfish joy in celebrating a teammate’s score. Every play feels like Buffalo itself: hard, cold, unrelenting, built on pride—and defined by a\ never-say-never belief that no moment is too big. A Bill for Life Knox’s connection with the city runs deeper than stats. He’s embraced its winters, its work ethic, and its identity as an underdog that refuses to quit. Head coach Sean McDermott puts it plainly: “Dawson is the guy who’ll do whatever it takes—block, catch, fight through pain. That’s Buffalo football.” – Sean McDermott That’s why many in Buffalo believe Dawson Knox is more than just a player. He’s a symbol. The kind of athlete who doesn’t just wear the jersey but lives what it represents. The Legacy in Motion For Knox, football is more than a game. It’s family, faith, and city all bound together in blue and red. His plays remind fans of Buffalo’s own story—fighting for every inch, never backing down, finding pride in perseverance. Dawson Knox isn’t just a tight end. He’s Buffalo’s tight end. And if the city has its way, he’ll be a Bill for life. dawson knox.pdf

And the locker room after the game will be even more hilarious. of course, Peterman is laughing all the way to the bank having probably made $25M by being in the league.

NFL hardly has one sided games like in college

Didn’t Rex do something stupid like get a former player of the opponent and have him go to the toss. It kind of set the adrenaline for the player.

Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract

Beane's picks in the 1st two rounds have been at best spotty. Plus we continue to draft at the end of the round...The Bills could have gone all-in and given up the 2 1st rounders. As someone else posted - we have ONE blue chip player. The Chiefs have at least three...The Ravens have at least three.. -
Also, the Ravens keep Allen in check in most of the games. They kept him to 127 yards in 22 attempts in the playoffs. He has 180 yards in the regular season om 29 attempts I want this game to be a Jimbo game. Run him and run him hard.
-
Considering that the Pats will owe all the money to him, he could come here and play for Vet minimum salary and be a surprise last minute entrant.

It’s a gamble you take to overcome that thin margin that exists between teams in the NFL. If it gives me that advantage and a chance to win a superbowl then I take it every time. -
and when he retired as a Bill, he was building some massive home in Virginia (near Richmond) and then for some reason decided to stay back in Buffalo

Improved Coleman Josh Palmer might be better than cooper Rookie DT’s had excellent camp and preseason healthy and motivated Milano Joey Bias as a pass rusher Hoecht as a pass rusher Nielson as DL coach Tabor as ST coach Worries injuries during Stacy and PS - a ton of missed practices safety and CB are untested is Kincaid ready to take the next step in year 3 Will Johnson come back from a poor season
-
One of the two will be in the PS if they can’t join any of the other 31 53-man roster.

The Bills have been very good in the WC round..It is the Divisional and Championship round the defense has struggled...Even against Baltimore last season. the defense was quite leaky and the turnovers (some self inflicted by Baltimore) bailed them out. Probably missed my point. Have we done enough for the team to be more improved for them to take down the Chiefs and the Ravens in the playoff. Based on what happened in TC and PS, it appears that the expected progress is not there. Thats all. Go Bills !!!

I saw something about Denver being loaded with DBs and will be cutting good ones.

or the beautiful throw to Davis to take the lead with 13 seconds !!!!
