  1. They had a chance to play Yeldon and give him all the carries against Miami. They did not and went to Williams. I have to assume that at this point Williams gets the call this time.
  2. And he went head to head against another Rookie kicker and came out the winner. Great catch Bass.
  3. I think the Colts were playing the wide 9 defense eliminating the ability to go the sideline. Beasley is always better to slip off to get behind the line
  4. Singletary made a key block on the Diggs TD throw to allow Allen to stay in the pocket, Outstanding block
  5. playoff intensity is very different than regular season games. Tua and Rivers are not in the same league as of today. The Colts ran the ball down our throats effectively and converted on 3rd and long consistently including the last drive.
  6. Great write up. Completely agree with you. This was a game for Josh Allen to show up. Other than the final sack, he was composed and boy he threw rainbows, That Colts D line was ferocious; their Linebackers were ready. There was not much room for error. Allen lit them up. This is the type of game for which the Bills drafted Allen and he delivered. Playoffs are a different ball game than regular season. The intensity is different; the quality of opposition (11-5) is huge. We have choked at 5 attempts in 25 years, today we won because we had that guy who delivered. Our Prince is growing up towards that crown. Go Bills.
  7. This play reminded me so much of the Rothelisberger shoe string tackle (against the Colts) of Nick Harper after Bettis fumbled at the Goal line with a few minutes to go, That tackle helped force Manning to drive back for FG range and the then greatest kicker in football missed the FG. Here we are driving to ice the game and put it away. Instead, we almost gave it to them.
  8. The Colts OL was dominant. They protected the QB and opened holes for their RB. Our Pass Rush was exposed and we paid for our blitzing on so many 3rd and 7s
  9. why not this year for the rest of the playoffs. We did win today right ? We are hosting a game next weekend
  10. 27 points in the playoffs is very good especially against a defense that had 2 All-Pro Starters.... The defense gave 2 TDs in the 4th quarter. Missing the consistency to stop the run and get off on 3rd downs. Today was not theri day
  11. Baby steps and learning curve.
  12. And their D line was real. It was actually amazing how Josh worked under that pressure. He made one bad mistaake. It was a 1st down. He could have taken the sack and the 10 yard loss and live to fight another day. He will learn
  13. The colts have a super front 7
  14. Or the Bills could put consistently a slot person in Beasley or McKenzie and allow McKenzie to catch from the slot like he did last week.
  15. Some of these positions that you mention require continuity...You cannot just take a draft pick and put him there and hope everything remains same. I agree in principle your thoughts though. THe Bills should not fear about losing people in FA
  16. THis is a kid with a chip on the shoulder for slipping in the draft...Beane as much mentioned that in that Draft video earlier this year.
  17. Agreed...there will be lot more changes in the 2022 off season...but I think Beane will try to keep this team together for another run in 2021... BUt I do agree that the Bills may have to make some cuts in 2021 for Salary Cap purpose and they may have found some easy cuts due to plays of people like Williams and Epenesa... We could be seeing the end of Yeldon, Addison, Kroft, Murphy etc
  18. They could trade out of that 3rd pick (for a QB needy team) for a bounty of 1st and 2nd round picks and build a lot of talent around Tua. The Dolphins will be a tough team next season
  19. Miami's season was like our 2017 season when we made the playoffs..excellent defense and a QB that protected the balll and made very few mistakes; but also made very less downfield throws.....it caught up with them in the playoffs when they played a defense that was slightly better than them. Miami won games with great defense and very little turnovers by Tua. They got caught in the offensive storm in the season finale; their attempt to do something that they couldn't (throw the ball downfield) ended up being a disaster. One difference - Both Bills and Miami needed help after the week 17.... Bills got it thanks to the Bengals while the Dolphins did not get the same favor from Jacksonville or Pittsburgh
  20. Once your are in the playoffs anything can happen....Stats/predictions usually get thrown out during Wild Card weekend. If the Bills had beaten Houston last year, all teh four WC games would have been upsets with the road teams winning against the home teams (2 of them were division winners)
  21. Why not both. Did anyone restrict our options ? 🙂
  22. Allen's problems in year 1 and 2 are stats....too many turn overs, especially fumbles and lower completion %. Unfortunately, the only things that are preserved from the past games are the stats and with the internet they are the most easiest to find....People build their own stories based on the stats they collected and are definitely not spending their entire week watching Allens first 30 games of his career.
  23. Agreed...I think that is why Stefanski wins it. The Browns made the playoffs after 17 seasons in his first year as HC. He shut down all the noise in Cleveland and made them a disciplined team. I agree that people calling Flores a fraud are doing it purely on a spite of a division rival. He may not have handled his QB situation very well; but he had his team playing hard for him every week. He had them almost winning against the reigning super bowl champion; they beat the Patriots; won tough road games. Beat the Rams on the road, Flores will build that team better with the draft capital they have received from Houston....They could trade that 3rd pick into more multiple 1st and 2nd round picks and builld that team's offense even better. They may need to look for a more progressive OC than Chan Gailey
  24. Only problem with Houston is that their draft cupboard is bare for the next two drafts. That is a coach killer for one who is coming in as a rookie.
  25. Does any one when the NFL announces the AFC Players of the MONTH for December 2020?
