  1. May be it was to give the time for the back ups. It is not like we were throwing with Allen and Diggs. It was good to have Davis get that score for his confidence. It always works when you have a Franchise QB
  2. The Bills are on a5-game WC losing streak. Time to end that with a win next Saturday. This is what they played for during 17 weeks. Now they are there. Time to continue the momentum and win the remaining FOUR games of the year
  3. Agree the OL had a great outing against one of the best defense in the NFL (#1 in points allowed, going into the game)....But I think Josh played very well anticipating the pressure and stepping into the pocket to throw those strikes.
  4. I think McKenzie is faster than Roberts. Isiah's issues have always been ball safety
  5. The next stigma to remove for this franchise....break the jinx of 5 straight Wild Card Playoff loss
  6. HaHa...I never dreamt that the Bills will hammer in 8 TDs on the day.
  7. Thanks Shaw for the write up. As always. see the passion of a die-hard every time you write.
  8. Three years ago on Draft Day https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/04/26/2018-nfl-draft-brandon-beane-josh-allen-flaws/
  9. Allen - He took the air out of the Dolphin's defense.
  10. Darnold stays in NY. Minnesota lets Cousins walk or trade to SF. Stafford might be a good candidate for NE
  11. Steelers also have very limited cap space and they have to sign their own players like Dupree, Ju Ju, Conner....they also have to extend Fitzpatrick, Edmunds.. and they have an aging OL.
  12. I agree. it would be just useful to have the 44 players line up and just walk by the other line
  13. I am sure they are following the criteria laid out to them in making their decisions.
  14. The Bills won't go big fish shopping in the off season. Their draft picks like Oliver and Epenesa need to start playing like stars on their rookie contracts. That is how this team will be sustainable. These players have to start dominating
  15. great New Years Wish. I hope every one of that comes true. Go Bills!
  16. The biggest change has been in causing turn overs.
  17. I think that is what will happen in the off season. Bills will negotiate a contract extension in the off season for Allen in the ball park of Watson (if we lose in the divisional round) and more near Mahomes (if we win the SB). Bills will add the 5th year option for Edmunds so that they will have him for at least 2 more seaons. Bills will extend Milano, Feliciano and Williams. They will figure it out to keep the core roster together. They got quite a bit of change to come off the DL, TE positions. The only wrench in the work will be if Diggs requests a new deal. But since they did give him more up front money after the trade, I assume that will wait until 2022 season. This team will be significantly different in 2022 due to expiring contracts for senior players such as Hyde, Poyer, Morse, Brown, Beasley, Jefferson, Addison and needing to pay young guns such as Wallace, Ford, Singletary, Knox etc.
  18. The Denver Broncos were a pretty strong team...much like the Chiefs...having even gone to three super bowls before us. The Dolphins were always a tough team and right up there.
  19. We can never know when to stop doing something....each one is different. We could lose that player in the first round,...then whata.....Injuries are part of the NFL and the good teams have built their back ups on the next man up mentality. Obviously, you value the assets that are not replaceable. But you don't sit your starters if there is something to play for.
  20. +1. TBD (in its different forms) has been where I have lived for hours/days/weeks through the last 25 years and people like Shaw, Virgiil and Bill in NYC have made this a great place to spend the hours. Appreciate everything that SDS has provided for us to be this close virtual community. It is great to share 2020 success of the Bills with this group of people and feel blessed. Happy New Year to you all. Go Bills. Let's rock Rich Stadium back to its glory days.
  21. And I think they will have Gilliam, Kroft, Knox and Lee Smith activated on game day Slight correction. The Bills waived Kumerow to accommodate Brown back to the 53 man roster. They were hoping he would not be claimed by anyone and then they could add him back to their PS. However, New Orlean claimed him on the waiver wire. He never made it back to the PS.
  22. Gabe Davis also can play the slot. Yup. As a fourth receiver on the team, he is 8 yards shy of 500 receiving yards and has 6 TDs with several clutch catches including that beautiful TD against Miami
