For 2020, the play that set the tone for the rest of the season was the goal line INT by White of Fitz. The Dolphins were knocking on the door and with a TD would have taken a 10+ point lead and put the game away. White's INT was turned around by a TD march by the offense and the Bills went on to win that game. That game also got them on a run culminating with the win at Pittsburgh on Sunday night which punched their ticket to the playoffs.
If the Bills had lost the game, it wouldn't have been because of Josh Allen. The failure would have been on that defense to stop a putrid Offense that has street undrafted FA as their starting WRs
Actually they hit the holes too slow and the holes close too fast. Luckily the Patriots had 6-7 DBs all the time and the OL helped keep the holes open for the RBs to take advantage.

Right now PIT, KC, Baltimore and Tennessee are better than the Bills (or slightly above us). We have to fix our defense to be part of those elite teams.
I agree Davis is going through growing pains...but we keep copping out the excuse of John Brown going off the field.
The Patriots were without their top 3 or 4 WRs but their new guys were still catching passes for 1st down. We have an issue with scheme and putting our players in position and for Allen to get the ball to them. Let us work on that magic.
Claypool has no problems catching passes every week. I am sure Davis work ethics are as good.
We can't keep giving this excuse. This should be fixable.
Against Jets, Allen took the short dump passes
Against Patriots, Daboll took the option to run the ball than throw it.
Both were effective. The Bills are starting to show that they can play by what the opposing defense offers and still win.
