Its not even debatable. Soccer is the only sport whose fans have essentially started gangs who engage in mass violence and regularly commit hate crimes. Its why soccer is regularly played in empty stadiums. I can't think of another sport where riots started by fans result in mass casualties. One this year resulted in 125 deaths. Its not even the worst one unfortunately. And its not confined to one region either. This behavior is seen in Europe, South America, Latin America, Asia, and Africa/Middle East. These are facts, Bill.

Lets put it this way. The flight is so short that they don't even bother to read the safety instructions. No seatbelts, no talk of oxygen masks since cruising altitude is like 40 feet. They aren't in the air long enough to walk the aisles and hand everyone a mini bag of peanuts so the flight attendants throw out handfuls of bread and feed the passengers like ducks. Its like a 10 minute flight and they went home. Especially since he drove up the morning of and back immediately after the game. Thats about a week's worth of calories in less than 24 hours. And why even drive when its only a 20 minute flight?
-
That is true. However, the return flight from Detroit to Buffalo is much shorter since you're in the jet stream traveling against the natural rotation of the earth (i.e., Scoriolis effect). Its like a 7 minute flight which is why they went home.

They came home. Its like a 10 minute flight.

Why are you ashamed to be an American? These are the people you're trying to impress:
-
I'm not doubting anyone's love or appreciation of the game or their authenticity. I get it that other sports have their own vocabulary and in discussing those sports its a natural thing to do. Its just funny to me that in doing so we use our posh voices. Especially, since soccer fans as a group are notoriously boorish, violent, hooligans.

I love everyone's shift in vernacular when discussing soccer. You guys on Sunday: "That was a ***** pass. Who the f#$% was that even too? QB better get his head out of his ass!" Today: "A right poor touch on the volley from mid spoils another quality try, chaps. The American side would be well to tighten their lines henceforth."

The girl in the back isn't even trying to make it look believable.

Hows his neck?

Compete was fine last night. Too many mistakes on defense and for all their possession the Sabres have not generated enough quality scoring chances. In the defensive zone, we have a bunch of puck watchers. Joker and his partner were both playing the same guy and no one picks up the man coming down the slot. We see that same goal again and again. Collapsing 4 guys down low and generally being in the right vicinity is not the same as defensive. Its incredibly frustrating watching teams generate so many chances from the slot while our offense finds no time and space except around the perimeter. - Dahlin's WTF moments have returned as he basically handed Toronto two shorthanded breakaways. - UPL played himself out of position pretty badly on the last two goals against I thought. - Tage continues to impress me with his effort and playmaking night in night out. Hes a one man show most of the time. Skinner is playing like he got back together with Ralph. Tuch is mostly useless. - Cozens has really taken a big step this year. He's playing with so much more confidence. I really liked what he brought to the PP. Its not showing up on the score sheet but I think its a matter of when not if he starts tallying goals. Love the kid line with Cozens + Peterka. Quin flashes some skill but lacks the athleticism to do more. - Fix the PP by firing Skinner into the sun. Our PP would be improved if Skinner just turned and fired the puck at his own net every time he touched the puck as it would save the time it usually takes for him to force another pass through the middle with no pace that gets picked off and sent the length of the ice. I don't know how Granato tolerates it. No one can make a controlled entry but Tage. Tuch tries but thats a turnover or he gets a shot off from the outside that is instantly sent the length of the ice. Really not impressed with Tuch or Skinner this year.

Will Bills Make it to Detriot Rested for the Game?
Jauronimo replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Especially since they haven't practiced all week due to a light dusting and a case of the sniffles -
The Sabres play no defense. I don't know how to even assess the goaltending with the number of high quality scoring chances they face a night.

Ok. So are we ignoring history and inventing a new narrative for Reid? Reid has been a head coach for 23 years has a 3-6 record in Conference Championship games, a 1-2 super bowl record, and was commonly regarded as a guy who just couldn't get it done until Patrick Mahomes happened to him. Now Reid is the class of the NFL and a guy who has been at the helm for 1/3 the time is the new Andy Reid?

Sunday's game vs Cleveland is being moved to Detroit

I believe Jimmy Brissett led offenses have scored a total of 7 points against Buffalo in 3 career attempts. Shutout in New England 2016, 7 points in the infamous snow game in 2017, and shutout in Miami last year. Am I missing a game? -
Serious question. Has a Jacoby Brissett led offense ever scored a point against the Buffalo Bills? We blanked him in Miami last year, we blanked him in New England years ago. I looked into it and Brissett was actually the Indy QB during the infamous snow game. Indy scored 7 points. Looks like in 3 outings, Brissett has led one scoring drive vs. the Buffalo Bills.

Reid went to 4 straight NFC Championship games and came away with one super bowl loss. He was fired in Philadelphia because he was seen as a guy who couldn't get his team over the hump. Philly fans called him the worst game day coach in the league. His clock management was some of the worst you've ever seen and his3rd/4th and short play calling drove everyone insane. That was the story on Andy Reid until Patrick Mahomes happened upon him.

This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had
Jauronimo replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% as sarcastic as I can possibly be. But let me turn it up just for you... I want them to trade Josh Allen for whatever they can get and invest all the proceeds into this defensive line such that no one is ever fatigued again. I don't care if we even field an offense and lose every game. Just give me the perfect Dline and I am as content as can be. Are you blind? How did you not pick up on it even when I told you it was total sarcasm?!? -
He's like 6'2" but pretty short where it counts if you know what I mean. Hardly a giant but not a midget if that helps.

We're getting run on again and its a direct result of interior DT play. Epenesa is a liability in setting the edge. Pass rush has mostly evaporated the past few weeks. I have not seen Phillips making much of an impact. Groot is out which has hurt. Dline play is decent but I'm not seeing the return on investment lately. -

What did this guy do to you?

Was he completely naked? EDIT: **SPOILERS** I read the article and he wasn't naked. -
Oh, you really don't understand sarcasm. I really couldn't have laid it on more thickly had I tried.

When assessing a defensive line its not the results on the field that matter. Its all about cultivating mass.

What part of that bothers you?
