Bienemy does not play well with others.

9 penalties were assessed for 47 yards total.

"Just give it to them!" The rule changes have introduced more subjectivity into the game but I think that has gotten better the last 2 years. I believe we kinda know what a catch is and now we are near 100% on fumble vs incomplete pass. People love to B word about RTP but I am thankful we aren't watching Case Keenum vs Chad Henne in January.

I would be shocked if that wasn't the original plan before Kanye went full Hitler.

The resolution wasn't clear enough to see the football and instant replay was barely a thing so no one really had the tools to dissect the officiating the way they do today. But yes, the officiating was every bit as bad back then or worse. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/1159153/on-this-date-in-sports-november-29-1998-just-give-it-to-them ....and the air was fresher back then, and freedom was sweeter, and cats and dogs played in the streets in perfect harmony.....but everything is different now and thats bad!

Winning teams hire the coaches children to assistant positions. The fact that neither Madeline or Gavin is holding a clipboard is a real indictment on McD as a coach and a father.

Breaking: TBD's investigative journalists have uncovered signs of cronyism in NFL coaching circles. Evidence suggests nearly every hire involved a prior relationship with an existing member of the staff. News at 10, February 9, 1966.

How many senior defensive assistants can you name off the top of your head?

Major Sports Alignment and Playoff Qualifying
Jauronimo replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know how good teams missing the post season heightens your enjoyment of playoff hockey. I think intensity and speed of playoff hockey makes it about the best product there is. Fewer games doesnt sweeten the pot for me. -
Major Sports Alignment and Playoff Qualifying
Jauronimo replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its been 16 teams qualifying in the NHL forever and now there are actually 32 franchises. 7 and 8 seeds actually make some noise in the playoffs. Ask Toronto how those high seeds have worked out. The NBA has 16 teams qualifying and only 30 franchises. The low seeded teams have no chance. NBA is the most predictable major sports league. -

How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?

This Bills team wins a super bowl last year with Belichick at HC. -
How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?
Jauronimo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pats never choked when it mattered. Their opponents almost always flinched and committed the grave mistake. Belichick never beat himself. It wasn't until recently when I saw a Bill B coached team give away games that were otherwise won. Cam's fumble against us, their stanford band play this year, maybe the hook and ladder against miami a few years ago. -

I followed this team through countless rebuilds and dismal football but what finally broke me was a 13-3 season, a 3rd consecutive division title, and a loss in the divisional round. I'm out! -

1. Hall of fame QB on a below market contract 2. Best situational football coaching in the game 3. Best defensive game plans in the game 4. Continual innovation on offense based on talent available The Manning led Colts played in an even worse division but it didn't pack their trophy case.- 225 replies

If we are in the hunt in March and I need to go back to Bali to get us into the playoffs, its a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Pass the collection plate and dig deep brothers and sisters!

Watching even 90% of an NHL season is an incredible commitment. I don't know how you ever did that. I took a few years off of watching anything other than playoff hockey. 6PM puck drops here in the CST, work, and a social life was not conducive to watching a ton of puck. I bought into the Dahlin hype and sprung for the NHL package in 2018 after the Sabres were the November Eastern Conference Champs riding a 10 game heater. Even those games were tough to watch but I thought maybe I was just out of practice on what regular season NHL play looked like. As everyone remembers, the boring hockey continued but the winning stopped and a month later the games were unbearable to watch. I pledged to watch more hockey each season but the same pattern occurred and I was tuned out before the All Star break. Being a real fan doesn't mean I need to commit to watching the sporting equivalent of paint drying 50 times a year. Last year, the team still managed to lose a ton but I found myself actually wanting to watch them play and that has continued into this year. Unfortunately they like to lose when I watch as I witnessed every single second of that 10 game slide early in the year and they got hot as I was out of the country but I'm sticking with it. Just not on most Friday and Saturday nights.

How many teams can Singletary start on
Jauronimo replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
All the speed queens in this thread are going to love watching Cook go down at first contact. Something tells me their tune will quickly change to "its the offensive line, stupid!" next year. But for now they keep beating the drum of waste premium assets on a RB. -
Yup. He can only play QB in the system of offense. Put him at Safety and he probably couldnt make a high school squad. Don't forget the tuck rule.

If Devin is a fringe NFL player and only seeing meaningful snaps due to organizational incompetence, what does that say about Cook? RB is the easiest position on the field to transition to out of college and Cook is struggling to separate himself. Hines can't get on the field. Are we doomed? -

On a team that only has a running attack he finally got some work in. He flashed so much he has only seen meaningful playing time in 1 of his 5 NFL seasons. Jeff Wilson has a similar career arc and he also played in a run first offense until he was traded to Miami. You guys are in love with career backups. I bow to your superior judgement. -
The miserable f#@$s moaning about positional coaches who couldn't name another safety coach in the league do not deserve happiness.

East West Shrine Bowl today 8:30 pm on NFL Network
Jauronimo replied to jkeerie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tell me about it. I tried watching the little league world series and it was unbearable. Every kids a winner and they're all going to be famous surgeons or scientists. Meanwhile these losers can't hit a 50 mph fastball and the announcers are talking about this bed wetter like he just cured cancer. Gimme a break already!!!
