No dude, the game was over when our defense gave up 4th and 18 at the 2 minute warning. Granted they got two consecutive 4th down stops at the 1 yard line and would get the ball back 1 minute and 20 seconds later but by that point the damage had been done. 0 points had been scored and Minnesota was a lock to win by a 4 point deficit. Our offense was asked to hold on to the football and execute a center-QB exchange, a nearly impossible task with the game on the line.

Asking them to do anything other than fumble 6 is unreasonable in my opinion. I mean how many teams expect their franchise QBs to gain a minimum of 0 yards when the defense is expecting a play that results in positive yards? Patrick Mahomes is never asked to gain 0 yards when it matters.

Lets see your math that supports expecting your offense to gain 0 yards or execute a QB-center exchange is unreasonable while we're being completely stupid. You are embarrassing yourself but I think you could go a lot lower.

I haven't seen anyone turn on him. I've seen a lot of white knighting about people turning on Allen. I've seen a total intolerance of any criticism of Allen. Yet to see anyone say he should be benched, traded, or that we should move on with another QB.

Thats a special interpretation. Allen's last 4 drives resulted in 3 turnovers and a point differential of -4 for our offense. The defense gave him a virtual guarantee to win the game after a goal line stand and another shot to win or tie in OT. Allen shat the bed with three amazing chances to win. Taking a safety likely wins the game. I cannot believe the crap I am reading today.
