  1. If Terry is selling a minority stake in the Sabres to raise renovation funds then taking the Sabres out of PSE structure would be a necessary first step. I have heard that if it were totally up to Kim, the Pegulas would have sold the Sabres and been done with hockey a few years ago. The reason that hasn't happened is because Terry loves hockey. Terry put $100 million into Penn State's hockey program to bring them D-1. I would be very surprised if Terry is giving up the Sabres.
  2. Every time Matt Milano takes the wrong hole in the run fit someone burns an Edmunds jersey.
  3. Bills fans think anything less than a Ray Lewis highlight reel is unacceptable MLB play. The criticisms of Edmunds are the same ones tossed at London Fletcher, Poz, and Preston Brown. "He only makes tackles 5 yards downfield!" As if there was a ever a linebacker who exclusively played in the backfield. You have to go back to Takeo Spikes to find a player that the linebacker mob approves of.
  4. Out of desperation, I signed up for DAZN last year while on vacation to watch the Miami game. It didn't work but my subscription auto renewed. I can't even login to my account to cancel it since I am not in the country where I registered the account. I tried two different VPNs and neither could beat DAZN's detection. I guess I got to fly back to Indonesia to cancel or dispute the charges. I'm leaning toward a return visit.
  5. I don't even think its about the content of your posts. Honestly, you could say something like "Osama Bin Laden was not a very nice guy" and people would pile on you. There is just something inherently objectionable about you.
  6. Our schools are garbage and they're cranking out truckloads of fat, ugly, and stupid children. If your premise were even remotely true then we wouldn't have only 10 decent starting QBs in the league. Every team in the league would have competent QB play and we would have real parity, devaluing the position. I'm sorry but this is a crock of *****.
  7. Way to think it through, Hugh Grant.
  8. I have no problem with not paying Edmunds $18 million a year. I do have a problem with Beane's decision not to address the position in free agency.
  9. What vanished? Did that even make sense in your head? Lets break this down for the slow witted: The bolded is not a statement based in fact. It is an opinion informed by emotion ( i.e., the opposite of logic). Ergo, you confuse logic with whiny opinions. Quod Erat Demonstrandum
  10. You don't get jokes, do you?
  11. You confuse logic with whiny opinions that run counter to the core values of our criminal justice system.
  12. I thought you were joking until I clicked on the link. Holy *****!
  13. Thats a cute thing to say but, very clearly, you do.
  14. I am a little surprised that it didn't come up during the Vick saga, but there are cultural differences in attitudes toward animals. Lets just say that in many areas of the world dogs aren't little fur babies to be kissed on the mouth and share a bed with the owner. While many of us, myself included, find animal fighting to be abhorrent there were a handful of players who basically said "whats the big deal, they're just dogs". He went to prison for running an interstate gambling ring. If I recall correctly the animal cruelty factor was a kicker that only contributed to a slightly longer sentence for the gambling offense. Well, take it up with Websters because adversity isn't qualified by whether it is self inflicted or a result of external factors.
  15. What do you call losing your $20 million signing bonus and going from a mansion to federal prison?
  16. Hes so bad that you completely forgot that his backups in Buffalo dont even look like NFL linebackers let alone an upgrade and we have a glaring hole at MLB.
  17. You and Bill Cosby have that in common. Until anyone can point me to an instance where something was NOT what it, in fact, WAS, then "it is what it is" remains the most worthless arrangement of words in the history of written and oral communication.
  18. This would be the story book ending. Jason Peters comes home to where it all started for him. He converts back to Tight End and wins the starting job from Kincaid. He catches the game winning touchdown to win Super Bowl LVII. Ralph rises from the grave to hand JP a huge bag of cash. Russ Brandon is publicly flogged. All is forgiven.
  19. Perhaps. But he was busted and he did real time for it. The rich and famous usually avoid consequences but Vick paid his debt to society.
  20. Floundering is a better term. SI is to sports what Ames is to shopping. Totally irrelevant. CNN replaced SI with Bleacher Report. I doubt anyone under the age of 25 has even heard of SI. SI is basically just a memory of time spent sitting in @teef's waiting room before a root canal. Do they even do a swimsuit edition anymore?
  21. I was a fan of OJ before it was cool (1995). Most people probably dont remember his role as Nordberg in the arthouse film The Naked Gun.
  22. I don't give much credit to getting the first overall pick in the draft correct. OJ was a no brainer. Bruce similarly was a cant miss prospect. Kelly was the Bills second draft pick of 1983. Props for getting the pick right eventually. Doesn't hurt to have Marino and Kelly on the board at 14 for a QB needy team. All 3 players were college stars, with major production, in major conferences. Beane moved way up to take the 3rd QB selected in the draft. Allen was not a star with huge production. He was a player with a spotty record in the Mountain West drafted purely on potential. All draft profiles had Allen as a major project, a major risk. The pick defied all known laws of math or some such bull#### according to draft "experts". If you miss on that pick you probably dont get another GM job. That pick transformed the franchise.
  23. I think McDaniel is a better OC than Dorsey. I still don't buy him as a head coach.
