  1. I had him as shooting himself twice in the back of the head and then stuffing himself inside his own suitcase. A classic Russian suicide.
  2. We beat the Jets by a combined score of 37-32 last year playing Mike White and Marcy D'Arcy. Remember when Marcy "got that dog in him"? That was an annoying 2 weeks.
  3. Yes, they're better than us. The same way the they were "better" than us last year. And like like last year I expect we win more games than the "better" team.
  4. I will be there. All arrangements made.
  5. Joe Marino, Sal, CoverOne and others have been giving Van Demark high praise all through camp. He has looked more than serviceable according to people who know a lot more than me, for whatever its worth.
  6. Rex took their socks if they committed penalties.
  7. Jason Biggs lives somewhere in my zip code. Not taking any chances with known pastry rapists on the loose.
  8. He's watching at a level you couldn't possibly comprehend. No one watches harder than him. You and me, we're just casuals. Drinking our beer, eating our snacks, checking fantasy scores, talking with friends, getting up to use the restroom. This dude locks his whole family in the closet to eliminate distractions, has trained his bladder to go 24 hours without breaks, and does not blink from opening kickoff until the final whistle has been blown.
  9. Don't be a prude. Be happy for my prospect of sexual relations. Here's some reading for you. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29615286/jake-fromm-looks-make-amends-elite-white-people-text
  10. A hearty round of applause for Jacob Fromm. Today is truly a banner day for elite whites! Honey, warm up some milk and bust out the saltines because we're celebrating tonight! If all goes well, I'll be pushing the twin beds together about an hour from now if you catch my vernacular.
  11. Dawkins WAS an above average LT. Since middle to late last year hes been looking like an average tackle. On Saturday he looked decidedly below average. Hes on the decline in his career and with his conditioning issues I dont expect it will be a graceful decline.
  12. A year later and I'm not convinced that Shakir deserves a roster spot. Gotta know the playbook if you want reps and you better catch the ball when thrown to you. Epenesa still isn't a starting material. He needed two years to transform his body from a plodding power rusher to an undersized speed rusher or something like that. Dorian has reportedly looked lost in practice at WLB. Forget about MLB for now. Rookies who are ready to play have played. Shakirs, Epenesas, and undersized linebackers get to watch and learn.
  13. Why couldnt this have fit into any of the other threads discussing the pre-season game or the offensive line?
  14. White T-shirt guy tried so hard to get in the action then immediately got rocked by two different dudes. Those are some violent vegans.
  15. He looks like an Allen to me.
  16. Your parents generation was able to buy houses for six baskets of raspberries and support a family of 11 on a single unskilled labor wage. Who gives a ***** if they never left the house without a wearing a shirt and tie? No generation ever had it easier.
  17. They looked emotionally exhausted again
  18. Giving something new a try? Good for you. Variety is the spice of life.
  19. I lied. I do understand the nature of the criticism. Its not specific to her. They would react the same way if Josh broke up with the Virgin Mary. A lot of men here have poor relationships with the opposite sex and harbor a lot of anger and resentment.
  20. I don't understand the criticism of Britt. She kept a pretty low profile. She was never tabloid fodder or getting negative attention like some other players' partners. The only thing she ever did was post pictures of her and her friends on game days or vacations on her instagram. Same as most people. I am sure they had their issues but the fans are really just guessing.
  21. I'm sure it was a gut wrenching 30 seconds before you got back on board the Tua wagon.
  22. ESPN was great back in the day because it was the only source for sports news, opinions, and highlights. Once the internet got tired of porn and silly pictures of cats, people began to wonder "what else can we be doing online?". Thereafter, a number of other websites, youtube channels, and forums were born which catered to the most in depth Xs and Os analysis, to QB breakdowns, casual discussion and everything in between. If you want Bills coverage or a breakdown of coverages, ESPN no longer serves you. The network caters to low information, casual fans. Lists, rankings, hot takes, and outrage over the latest player scandal. Occasionally, theres a nice interview with insight. Luckily for us, twitter will amplify the 5 minutes of decent content from ESPN's 24 hour cycle.
  23. If you're in the pub for 5 hours and only slightly drunk then your process has room for improvement. The intersection of futbol and football is something I look forward to every fall. The college football bar I go to for Penn State games is also the city's soccer bar. By kickoff for early afternoon games, there are still half a dozen dudes in their 50s who have been watching Scottish Premiership since 6AM. The only thing keeping them upright is their anger toward women, disdain for the mild mannered Big 10 crowd, and the occasional visit to the "loo" to smell their keys. I'm not saying you should go full Celtic fan Saturday night but back to back games can be done!
  24. I did a nickel in Big Spring for insider trading. It wasn't so bad. Food sucked and it was boring but people mostly kept to themselves. Had to shank a guy who budged me in line for the go karts but other than that it was easy time. We actually became quite good friends after that, funnily enough.
  25. DK Metcalf fits that mold.
