NFL.com Power Rankings 2019.09.10
Jauronimo replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We backslid to victory carried by two missed kicks and a defensive effort which only allowed 8 points. Our offense was net 9 points on the day. We lost the turnover battle -4. There's a lot for us fans to feel good about in pulling a victory out like that but I don't expect an intern at ESPN who generates this crap from boxscores and reading 10 other power rankings on the internet to give us much credit. Is anyone really surprised??? -
Diabolical Daboll - Is he our evil genius?

Shackeel Laughson had some nice plays yesterday and flashed the talent that made him a first round draft pick out of Klemmsin A&M. -
There isn't a single epithet or slur that could get even a rise out of me. I'm more personally offended by someone else's steak order or preference in wings than if they were to call me every racial slur in the book. Its a fundamental disconnect. I hate the term but I suppose its "privilege" that no combination of words in the English language relating to my race, gender, ethnicity, or skin color carries any weight with me.

The NFLPA would go to bat for AB even if he beat Mayock to death with his own two hands. -
Just how important is Sundays game?
Jauronimo replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd say its must win. We win and we stay the course. We lose and its time to fire McDermott and start blowing this thing up before the trade deadline. I really do not see another option. -
Who gives a ***** about them? They're just a rip off of the Monkees.

That is true. If I remember a comprehensive OTW thread, half of TBD says she looks like a dude (80% of those individuals clarified that she looks like a dude that they would NOT sleep with) and one third of TBD wouldn't even consider Kate "fatty fatty pig face" Upton if she showed up on their door step covered with whipped cream. I've put together a profile of the average TBDer and he is a 6'4" fitness model with a 7 figure salary that is overwhelmed with attention from celebs and models and has to be more choosy. Then theres me and @Gugny....

Saying that one of the highest earning super models of all time is "good looking" takes a lot of guts. I'm proud of you!

Ed Oliver doesn't look very good

So what you're saying is his value as a decoy cannot be quantified. He sounds a lot like Lee Evans in that regard. -
Was the Jarvis Landry hit on Aaron Williams dirty?

The pussification of America continues. Back in my day men were men. And kids worked 16 hour days in the mines before going to school because they were men. And women had moxie and wore suspenders and smoked cigars and they could take a punch because they were men too. Concussions hadn't been invented yet so football was played without protective head wear and there wasn't even a ball or points just 22 guys running around with clubs smashing each others heads open for the joy of traumatic brain injuries AND THATS THE WAY WE LIKED IT!!! -
That comment was 100% aimed at you and no one else. Its personal.

Same here. Thats the Duffs I remember.

Pretty sure Schopp & Bulldog benefit from the Howard Stern effect. People who LOVE Schopp & Bdog listen for 25 minutes on average before school starts or before radio time is over at Shady Acres but people who HATE the show listen for 4 hours a day and the replays and share their hate here at TBD.

From a pure business standpoint there is no incentive to taking a risk on a project like the Matrix when you know can make Fast & Furious 14: Cleveland Nights for $200 million, in 18 months, and gross $550 million. Its guaranteed return. From a financial standpoint you would be stupid not to run it into the ground. The only threat is shifting taste and audiences which will shell out the dollars for original ideas. Netflix is trying just that but the quality isn't there yet.

I've got a lot of great 2nd date ideas but not with her. LeRoy is a deal breaker. Time to move on.

I guess I need to try Duff's again. Like many of you I now live in an area where if I want wings I'm better off making them at home. Anyone found a difference in outcome based on how long you wait after frying to sauce or the temp of the sauce? I've found that if I immediately sauce after frying they'll be soggy quickly. Warm or hot temp sauce will also contribute to sogginess. Best results for me have been when waiting 2 or 3 minutes then hand brushing on a room temp sauce. I get more room for error when using the base of the sauce is syrupy/sugary than vinegar heavy sauces. I think it would be an interesting food lab experiment and I haven't seen any discussion of this final critical component of wing cookery. I'll hang up now and hear your thoughts.
