Completion rate is not a good metric to use for any receivers, let alone TEs that have blocking responsibilities.

lol no. It doesn't 😂

Would Cole Beasley come back to Buffalo?
QCity replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. The guy is shot. Father Time is undefeated. -
I am incredibly impressed with him. His instincts are off the charts. For him to play like this as an undrafted rookie is even more astounding. He didn't start because he was behind All-Pro Roquan Smith. And when you see him play you will quickly understand why Chicago didn't pay Smith (I'm not saying he's better currently, but Smith isn't $20M/yr better that's for certain). Also the rookie safety Jaquan Brisker has been outplaying Jackson until his recent concussion. Morrow's no slouch, either. I wouldn't say they are devoid of talent. Anyways the game is 4 weeks away all these guys could be hurt by then, it's too early for the warm-fuzzy feels threads.

Kyler Murray: How did the Cardinals fall for it?
QCity replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
You wouldn't be an NFL GM for long. You know what happens after you move on? You lose your job. Typically GM's don't get a 2nd chance to figure it out. Signing a questionable franchise QB has more job security than rolling with the Sam Darnold's of the league. -
Hughes kicks a Gatorade bucket and that means he's returning to the Bills. Are people day drinking?

Week 12: Around the NFL (i.e. NOT a rag on the Bills thread)

I can see why they didn't pay Roquan Smith. This Sanborn kid is an absolute beast. What amazing ball instincts. Can't believe he went undrafted. -

Siemian is carving them up. Great play design by CHI. -
Bill Lions set Thanksgiving viewership record
QCity replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last year's three Thanksgiving Day NFL games smashed records as well. Were all those people tuning in to watch the 0-10 Lions face the 4-7 Bears? An epic Dalton vs. Goff matchup? The Bills are an exciting team, but NFL popularity is ever increasing (with help from fantasy and gambling) and T-Day is a captive audience. Next year they will likely have even more 12:30 viewers, regardless of who is playing the Lions. -
I could not believe Campbell's time management before the half. Romo and Nantz were rightly baffled as well. It was like they were trying to get us the ball back with as much time as possible. Thanks for those 3 points Dan, they came in handy.

Thanks for telling us, Dan.

Pepsi, Where's My Jet?(New Netflix Documentary)
QCity replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I wouldn't say it was a major news story. I think most people just shook their head at the whole thing because no reasonable person would believe Pepsi was going to award a $30M fighter jet. This was the decade when lawyers began to sue for anything just to get attention in the media. -
Squirrel Winter shirts and hoodies are now available.
QCity replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know what you're smoking, but it's too strong for you. Also regarding the topic, you might want to point out that the profits from these shirts goes to the 716 Store, not any of the people that dug the players out. -
What are your thoughts on John Murphy as our radio announcer?
QCity replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is where I'm at. There used to be a time where fans would go out of their way to sync Van or Jeanerette's radio call up to the television broadcast. It seems the opposite is true today and fans go out of their way not to listen to them. -
The guy rode Brady's coattails for 3 years to get a job with Denver. He failed at that miserably. He eventually went back and rode Brady's coattails for another 10 years to get a job with the Raiders. Unless Brady comes back next year and Tampa is hiring, this is his swan song as a head coach.

Tough call. That and the missed facemask. Yikes.

Why do some Bills fans refuse to have confidence in this team?
QCity replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Where did I ever say you did? I need you to understand that just because someone is critical of an aspect of the team, it doesn't necessarily mean they lack confidence in the team. -
Why do some Bills fans refuse to have confidence in this team?
QCity replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's easy to conflate confidence with blind fandom. There are people that are confident they will win the lottery this week. -
Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme
QCity replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
2-10 in one score games, the sample size is growing. Even the most ardent supporters of this coaching staff have to admit that percentage is way too low for a team with this much talent.
