  1. Best thread ever!
  2. I thought the last thread I just posted in was bad... and my opinion has nothing to do with his dog thing... but the man falls somewhere between "as bad as vince young" and "nowhere as good as Donovan McNabb was" so..... ummmm no.
  3. the lack of real Bills news is killing me!!! these last 2 weeks before the season opener have to be the WORST.... just look at these threads!
  4. I equate him to the likes of jerry Sullivan... plus he was uncerimoniously dumped off of local radio in more than a few NFL radio broadcast markets... so if he picked the Bills, who really heard it anyway?
  5. Merriman... our line backers suck!
  6. good grief.... two words for this thread...
  7. I don't see why not... as someone just said I usually diabolically oppose of this idea, especially when it's about some washed up QB, but the team could use some depth and talent at the TE position. If he's not 100% yet from an injury, this would be the ideal place for him to get healthy, as long as chandler stays fit.
  8. team loss, not even a debate. Poor tackling on defense, poor execution in the passing game, no adjustments made for the giants defensive strategy, missed kick. That sounds like a team loss to me. That game shouldn't even have been close.
  9. I can't remember when the team ever had a winning record out of preseason...
  10. I don't hate the idea....
  11. If you're suggesting a starting QB controversy, anyone who has seen them play knows this won't happen in any way. Fitzpatrick is by far the best QB on the team, and it's not even close. This year's camo made that very apparent, and while Vince young may be a gifted athlete, there are many factors of how the offense is run, and what opposing defenses are doing that VY doesn't possess, and this year Fitzpatrick just looked more accurate, and threw a better looking pass. I'm not a Fitzpatrick bandwagonner, I just see him has the best player right now...
  12. Really? you can make that "Real Deal" leap after one preseason game?
  13. Lets see.... my address bar says: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic....... Nope... Player love/hate is right on target...
  14. Did you not see any other completions? yes, carved up, completely. By a rookie who has never thrown an NFL game pass. Watch the game before blindly making a comment like that.
  15. Well played my friend...... (Slow golf clap)
  16. First, let me say I liked the mindset on offense to go in an work on some no huddle spread formations, that in my opinion is what preseason is really for. What I found to be a little worrisome was how poorly the secondary looked. If there was one glaring sore spot above the officiating, it was how easily they were carved up by a first ever starting rookie. What concerned you the most?
  17. I honestly thought it was a great idea to use the No huddle, and really not run the ball much, we all know what we can do with Freddie and CJ, and why not run the spread to try and get some rhythm? It didn't fare too well, but who cares really? The team will get sharper, you can see the potential for that in a few of the plays that did go our way, besides, it looked very clear to me that washington came out with a game plan to win the game, and at the end of the day it means nothing.
  18. Gotta love the helmet to helmet hit from Whitner. And ohh yeah, nice job wrapping the guy up too. Whitner blows chunks, I could care less what rhetoric he spews, he is a liability on any team.
  19. If anyone thinks Vince Young will get you anywhere has never really paid much attention to him as a pro athlete, I share the OP's concerns. I really hope a 3rd alternative becomes available to this team prior to the start of the season.
  20. whether or not anyone can prove Tom Brady has gotten hair plugs.
  21. Its amazing how many high characters we have on this team, it's not hard to want to pull for everyone to make the team, especially the above mentioned Naaman Roosevelt, Terrence Mcgee, and Bryan Scott. I know I might sound like a homer by saying this, but I don't think there's a team out there with the character this team has.
  22. For me, I am really pulling for Marcus Easley, the unfortunate way he had to exit the league last year had to be difficult for him, but given the way he approaches the game, performs in camp and in preseason last year, I really want to see him develop into a top tier receiver. In order of who I'd like to see succeed on the team overall, here is my top 3, and I limited my list to the guys who have been here prior to this offseason. 1. Marcus Easley - as explained above 2. CJ Spiller - I think he is ready to become that top tier RB we drafted him as. My favorite player however is Freddie Jackson, so my hope is that Spiller gets to develop without cutting into Freddie's production. 3. Shawn Merriman - Whether you like the guy or not, he simply works hard and has some really frustrating and nagging injuries. I'd love to see the guy have an injury free season and become an integral part of a dominant defense. Who are yours?
  23. From what I keep seeing in highlights and hearing from the reports, Marcus Easley is by far the most physically gifted athletes at the position, and just really shows a lot of ability. He is not one of those guys we all "hope" develops, he may be that "Stevie johnson" hunch a lot of us here had when he was unproven. It would not surprise me in the least to see this guy have an eye opening season.
  24. Don't go on Maury Povich, he may prove you wrong
