I just read the article myself, and for what it's worth, like it or not he is right. the team's owner has been called cheap for decades, long before this forum ever existed, and no matter what the Wilson lovers think we owe him, those are cold hard facts about an incompetent team, and a stingy owner. I love the Bills, but we owe that man nothing. He owes us a quality product in fact, to think any less is foolish.

A terrible offense. Vick brings absolutely nothing, and that kind of thinking is what the OP was referring to. People just can't get past the fact that he is a lousy QB who has no grasp of the position or even the ability to lead an offense, read a defense, make accurate throws... ETC.

No heads should roll, this team has tons of talent thanks to a pretty decent front office, but I do think Chan Gailey should hand the playcalling off to someone else. I personally am tired of the firesale every 3 years. The defense looked pretty solid against a good QB, and a little time in the scheme with Wanstedt will reap rewards. Chan however has lost me on his play calling, and while Fitzpatrick is a great locker room leader, he is clearly not the answer. It's time to draft a franchise QB. With just improved QB play, this team is easily 7-4 at this point, or even better. firing everyone seems kinda counter-productive when you think of the team in these terms.

Given all the disappiontment this season has brought to fans, I still had them at 6-4 at this point in the season. I expected them to lose all the games they lost except the opener and the titans game. While that doesn't mean they are as good as I thought, I think some success and momentum can be had in the last weeks of this season. Win those 2 games and there are so many fewer questions about the coaching, game plans, and every other thing that seems to get dissected around here and in the media. I am still not on the wagon though, simply because of the way they lost against really good teams, but I do think there can be some good salvaged from this season, and like it or not, these are the Buffalo Bills we have been presented. There is plenty of talent on the team, and I do believe they can win with these guys, but there is no way this team will be successful with poor efforts, and sloppy play, they are just simply not that talented. Where did you have the team at this point in the season?

I agree, he is only 28 years old, still has tons of life left in his game, and if he can stay healthy, I can't for the life of me see why he shouldn't have a roster spot next season.

Don't feel bad about it. I have been to every playoff game since 1988, including the music city mistake, and love this team with a passion, but I haven't watched a second of this team since the 49ers loss. I have had enough, apathy doesn't describe my emotions, but more like disgust. The Bills will lose this game by more than 35 points, and that's not even a prediction, I practically guarantee it. It will also happen while my girlfriend and I go do something meaningful on a Sunday instead.

This has to be a joke that you're even seriously asking this. I will never understand the man-love for this ridiculously UN-talented QB. Someone please explain what you see, is it is sub-par QB rating that seems irresistible, or is it his inability to see a play develop, or maybe it's his lack of accuracy that everyone just falls in love with? Someone help me here...

There will be no new stadium built in Buffalo, or anywhere else in WNY. If the G.D. state can't invest any time into improving the cities economic viability, what on God's green earth does anyone even think for one nano second that this would ever happen. Have any of you on this board walked down Main st. recently? It's like a F-ing ghost town. I LOVE the city of Buffalo, but until the state of NY changes it's view of the cities that exist outside of the Metro NYC area, then the decline will continue to devastate the rest of the state. Losing the Bills is just a small coin in the piss bucket. Doom and Gloom? Ummm... yeah. I have been in Nashville since 1999, and it has done nothing but grow, why? Because the state invests time, money , and energy in growing it economically, and has a regional approach to it's government. I pray to God that the Bills never leave Buffalo, but it's not looking good.

That's not logic... those are loosely quoted opinions and very thinly spread hope that the team doesn't leave Buffalo. The truth is that Russ Brandon and company have created such a miserable product that it will make them leaving so much easier on the community. You can't possibly think of another team that would have no problems unplugging itself from a community. team with no long term lease, and better yet, and aging facility?.... check. Aging owner with an iron clad plan to create a highest bidder war for future ownership? check. dying market that's been all but abandoned by industry, the state from a resources standpoint, and it's own population? check. AND now a fanbase that has become for all intents and purposes, completely apathetic towards its performance? check. The writing is on the wall, ignore it if you want, but this team will not be here for very long, and if you think they are, or even care about you and your loyalty, you've got a big surprise waiting for you at the end of the NFL tunnel, and yes.... it's a train.

Sorry but this is by far the dumbest thing I have read in a while. You would have to be batshit crazy to think he is a specialist in anything other than bench warmer, and that he could have been a hell of a player. He has ZERO tackles, and ZERO sacks. While I tend to criticize the guy for the way he is handling the team once he leaves, I do appreciate all the things he has done for the league, and the city of Buffalo in general. I hope he gets to see his team play, and play well, he clearly has my respect for what he has committed to winning financially this year. I live in Nashville myself and drive by that piece of **** stadium every day on my way to work, and without fail flip it the bird until I am well past it.... I have Bills nation covered.
