  1. 13 years of empty promises doesn't exactly leave a lot in the optimism tank, so yeah.... what's not to get? This team needs to score points in order to win, and Jeff Tuel really needs to be more than just a space filler. It's incredible how bad this team looks without a quality QB. On the bright side though.... looks like EJ is winning over many of us, and when healthy, might very well be the franchise QB we've all been waiting for. Too bad this season is on the brink.
  2. 11.) Stevie Johnson, while very talented, seems to have become fragile, and maybe it's time to evaluate his effectiveness 12.) Jairus Byrd needs to be traded now, while other teams might pay for his services 13.) Fred Jackson can still ball with the best of them
  3. I definitely saw him looking beastly lately, and I love seeing him turn the corner. also worth mentioning is the play of Mario Williams, that man is a physical freak, there's no doubt he will be a major factor in this team's success now that Darius is commanding more attention from the O-line. If you take away the BS kick return and piss-poor secondary play, this would have been a very winnable game, the Bills as a team outgained the Browns and looked more confident, even in a loss.
  4. Best abstract description of a troll I have ever read...
  5. But have a look at the Sabres "TURD" (3rd) jersey for this year: Warning!!! Not for the weak of stomach. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/buffalo-sabres-president-3rd-jersey-turd-burger-ll-150636078--nhl.html Good grief, how on earth did that ever make it out of a design room that wasn't filled with vomit.
  6. I don't understand all the negativity towards the guy at all...
  7. I GET IT NOW!!! He dropped off the "W" in his name because when he plays, he doesn't bring any W's to the team. the universe just seems more in balance now that he's done that....
  8. I'm going to go ahead, and.... disagree with you there Bob... MMMkay? yeah.... Whitner is an average player at best on a good defense(SF). When he played for Buffalo, he was a marginal player on a bad defense. Happy to have seen this post from you
  9. I saw a player (in williams) that seems to be really developing into a strong defender at corner with really good field awareness, I'd also like to see him stay at corner for a while now too.
  10. There's no guarantee EJ is the future of this team yet, but given the amount of depth issues the team has, I couldn't see any GM drafting another QB early.
  11. I was watching the game at the Tennessee Bill Backers bar this week and a lot of people were really noticing him as well as I was. My ever so bold prediction is that he will supplant TJ Graham in the lineup at some point, the guy just gets open, whether breaking away from blockers on special teams, or running routes. I have been an advocate of his from day one, he just always seems to stand out.
  12. Bingo!! You don't think he "just fell into" this injury do you? this is no coincidence and that's probably why he held out for so long.
  13. At least his A-Hole agent won't be holding him out for more money next season...
  14. This broken record is getting really old, no matter how you spin it, it's another year of rebuilding. I really dread the thought of an entirely new coaching staff, front office, and QB prospect in 3 years. At this stage it's obviously really early, but seeing the same old Bills get run all over yesterday just punched me in the gut as a fan, and I'm finding it hard to keep seeing the brighter side. Being irrelevant year in and year out flat out sucks. And I don't for one minute buy into the Russ Brandon theory in any way, in fact, i see him as the man who will lose this franchise to another city when that day comes.
  15. The defense was downright awful against the run, that was sad to see, but Kiko wasn't invisible, and he's a rookie that I thought played much better than a guy starting in his first ever NFL game.
  16. he brought nothing to WGR, and now he'll bring even less to another station. Yawn...
  17. We were in the playoffs? I must have been out sick.... (Yes I am suppressing the memory of those games)
  18. that's what happens when stupid people have children.
  19. They said I couldn't bring my seat cushion to the game anymore, so I brought these 2 throw pillows instead...
  20. I'd really just like to see both guys have an equal opportunity to play, and if one guy is hot, see the ball more. If next week CJ seems unstoppable, leave him in till he pukes. I want to be sure people don't interpret my original post as a call to see Freddie take over, but rather leave him IN the game IF he's clearly the more productive guy that day...
  21. I was watching the game yesterday thinking, Why is he not playing more when he clearly has the hot hand? I have been a staunch supporter of CJ Spiller right from the beginning, including some heated support of the theory that he was never a luxury pick, but yesterday, just wasn't his day. When this is the case, and a player is just getting shut down, they need to play Freddie as if he were the starter, he is very capable of playing at an elite level in this league, and looked very dangerous on the field, EVEN at 32 years old. The guy can flat out ball, and like it or not, Hackett would be very wise to run him till he pukes as well. It may not allow CJ to get his 2000 yards, but I guarantee they'll both win games for the Bills if a more democratic approach to the position is used. It's as if Hackett was a Bizarro Gailey, ignoring the hot hand and sticking with CJ just because. I hope this doesn't continue all season.
  22. I personally enjoyed all the "Biggest bust in Bills History" threads as well....
  23. I second this, and motion to put it to a vote for their removal. Make no mistake, russ brandon is not your savior, he is a well trained Ralph Wilson Jr., Jr. And Ralph Wilson Jr., Jr. is cheap.
  24. He doesn't have that asshat Eugene Parker for an agent, so our chances of re-signing him are promising, and worth the effort.
