Bills to meet with Rogers Communications
Homey D. Clown replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't have any confidence that russ brandon will make the right decision in the end... since he's such a marketing genius, and the best idea he could come up with was this abomination of a series, rather than sell stadium naming rights, advertising to large Canadian corporations that do business in the states, or even sell a luxury box or two to those said businesses, I doubt he will end this misery. -
The Top 10 Coldest games in Bills history
Homey D. Clown replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was at the #1 coldest game of all time on that list. My friend's Dad lent us his stadium bags.... anyone who ever shpped at AM&As during the 60's knows what stadium bags are... -
I heard somewhere that Kay Stephensen wanted back into the NFL...

better with Nassib this year?
Homey D. Clown replied to NYCBoozers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I did feel like the pre-draft guessing was lazy, given the fact they almost could care less on who we picked, but I actually watched as much footage as I could get my hands on before the draft, even watching 4-5 complete games played by Barkley and nassib, just to see for myself, then once the bills drafted EJ, watched as much footage I could find on him as well, and my eyeball test told me that Nassib looked way more NFL game ready, while EJ looked like the superior physical talent, making deeper throws with much less effort, but I still didn't think any of them were 1st rounders by a long shot. As for other comments about Coughlin not playing him, or even evaluating him, that's a little nonsensical, given they have a 2 time SuperBowl champion on the roster, that's kind of a no brainer. And as for the Bills passing on hime the rest of the draft, I just don't think the front office wanted to spend more than one pick on a position when the team had so many open holes to fill everywhere else. -
9 In 1 Season How Much Different Could It Be ??
Homey D. Clown replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just ask the fans, local media and anyone with a pulse here in Tennessee on Fitz. I think you'll find that he lost more games for the team in typical fashion than he contributed to winning. Cutting Fitzpatrick was a very good move. -
Playoff games having trouble Selling Out
Homey D. Clown replied to John in Jax's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Russ Brandon were CEO of those franchises, he'd sell the fan base on how the area couldn't support the team, and for it to remain viable, they should play 1 or more games in toronto. -
this question is predicated on the basis that we are "assuming" EJ is not the answer, I am not suggesting that he is or isn't. If he is not the answer, who would you love to see drafted as the next franchise QB, since we didn't Suck-for-Luck, nor did we Blow-for-barkley, who should we "suck" for this upcoming season?

better with Nassib this year?
Homey D. Clown replied to NYCBoozers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not singling you out for malice, but it's a valid question given the instability at QB this past season. I am pretty sure given the pre-draft analysis last year many people thought the Bills were going to draft the kid, and I am pretty confident a lot of people, including myself have wondered where this team would have been if they did. It's actually one the better questions asked if I were to be so bold... it's a great discussion, especially if he gets the chance to play at some point next year. -
Buffalo Bills 2014 Wish List
Homey D. Clown replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I request we draft a real franchise QB, and a top tier WR for once. Another run stuffing LB wouldn't hurt either... -
there is no baby. 14 years of labor pains should be a small clue. It's called constipation and stomach cramps that the franchise mistook for labor pains, so maybe the franchise just needs to take a good dump and move on.

Candidates to replace Marrone next January
Homey D. Clown replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
someone explain to me why all the hate for Marrone.... -
I also made it about that far... sorry to the OP but anyone can find fault in just about anything the coach has to say. what are you expecting? exuberance? He obviously wanted better results. I'd also advise you not to read any more of Jerry Sullivan's drivel, as this had his stench all over it.

better with Nassib this year?
Homey D. Clown replied to NYCBoozers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was really high on Nassib and Barkley, but thought they'd be a great 3rd round pick. I was a bit shocked at the use of a 1st round pick on any QB. Not sure any of these 3 QBs are the answer though... -
Steve Tasker and Mark Pike would have made any special teams coach look brilliant...

Who are you ready to see go?
Homey D. Clown replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too bad you didn't give us an option for Russ Brandon.... nobody would vote for any other option... -
Team : Buffalo Bills Seasons Played : 1960-2013 Wins : 376 Losses : 436 Ties : 8 Pct. : .463 with 17 of 53 years making the playoffs... That's the definition of apathy right there. If you remove the Bill Polian era the franchise looks so miserable it almost qualifies as self inflicted torture by being a Bills fan.

What batch of kool-aid will Russ whip up next?
Homey D. Clown replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The threat of additional games played in Saskatchewan should fill Ralph Wilson stadium nicely... and maybe a trinket washed up WR from somewhere should put the icing on the dumpster cake. -
how does this loss fall on the coaching? I'm curious, since poor execution on defense looked very much like the culprit to me.

I'd go so far as to say that the team did seem deflated after the loss in toronto, it just looked like they could have used a home game, or a good crowd before travelling to Tampa, so maybe that POS, idiotic, steaming pile of crap toronto series game damaged momentum for the next week. Sorry to say, but that game seems to have a ripple effect on the team every year. It sucks, it's not helping in any way, unless of course you have bought into the lie that WNY can't handle an NFL team as sold to you by the devil himself, but my point is that no team will ever be able to overcome playing less home games than the rest of the league, and that's the bottom line.

What is your EJ Manuel Confidence Level?
Homey D. Clown replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the kid has a great attitude there's no questioning that or his desire to win, but right now i am not feeling very confident he can stay healthy. if Kevin Kolb is any indication, next year will show whether or not it's been a shaky 1st year, or a career long trend. I am currently at 40% confident he's the answer at QB. -
The Playoff Drought is Ending Soon

A little early for blind off-season optimism isn't it? Most of that fan base usually wait till OTAs.... -
What are the four weakest starting players?
Homey D. Clown replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
#1 WR, another stud ILB, and Guard. I'll also concur that we do need a stud TE. Not Stevie bashing here, just see him more as a slot possession WR, and that just isn't what a true #1 is.
