  1. No. His devious plan to move the team and just his goofy pics with the Patriots owner alone should keep him banned.
  2. This was a cool post, don't take my responses as any attack on you, I just don't see most if not all of these players as week-old leftovers. Marshawn has a good game every now and then, but seriously, I don't think we lost anything when we have Freddie. I would have loved to see Freddie from day one instead of drafting a player like Marshawn in 2007.
  3. YES!! Blue pants are bruttally ugly, and only serve as a reminder of how bad the team was in the 70s. Can't. Stand. Blue. Pants. on this team... the all white Unis look classic, clean and represent the team very well with all the subtle stripes N stuff. Blue pants = loser team.
  4. That just made my year! Nobody tougher than Jim Kelly!!
  5. For me it's the patriot fans I can't stand, and to be honest, if Tom Brady played in another division, I'm sure I would like him more. It would also be unbelievably agonizing to deal with this team if it were the dolphins that had brady and bellicheat, too, but since it's the historically lame-ass patriots, I tend to hate them a little less than I should.
  6. The Bills win less than 7 games. ohhh... wait.... you said BOLD predictions The Bills win less than 7 games. There.... it's bold now.
  7. Seriously, why on earth would you mention Michael Vick? What has that man ever done with regard to throwing a forward pass to make anyone think he'd be a better option at running an offense than literally anyone else in the league at any point in time? He's an extremely athletic runner that was never any good at the QB position. vick rant over.... I'd love to have drafted Matt Barkley as one of the young QBs, and Matt Shaub as a veteran option. Other than that Orton is no better or worse than anyone else.
  8. I'm not looking to bash you, or get into a pissing contest over what I am seeing. the "eyeball test" is a phrase reserved for those who can only comment on what they see, from a non-professional point of view, and I'm sorry, but I don't see anything that closely resembles a 1st round pick in any way, shape, or form. He looks no better or worse than the likes of Nassib or Barkley, or Bortles, or any one of the big name QBs drafted recently. I see a hard working kid with all the size and a great mental attitude you'd want in a QB, but You'll have to really explain to me what you are seeing other than blind hope that EJ evolves into a franchise QB, because I'm just not convinced. Believe me, I want him to succeed, in a big way, he's a likable guy, but so was Fitzpatrick. Ask yourself this... IF EJ was drafted by another team in our division, would you be concerned? Right now, you really wouldn't. It's called a forum, where people discuss topics of varying opinion...your elitist comment is pathetic. If you don't want to see people discussing things where they might not actually agree with one another(gasp!) maybe this might not be a good place to read stuff for you.
  9. So you're saying he's going to stop throwing behind receivers and over their heads in week 1? LOL... that was too easy. Keep 'em rolling, you clever dog... I'm sorry I don't see his incompletions and inability to hit receivers in stride on the deep ball the way you do... glad those other knowledgeable analysts' opinions will magically make him a better player, just like Bill Walsh's endorsement of Capn' Checkdown..
  10. I liked the change too... very cool, hope they keep it.
  11. He beat us on Monday night.
  12. It's extremely simple. the QB doesn't make good decisions when the plays require a read beyond the first receiver. When those plays are called, the result was usually an overthrow, a sack, a fumble, or an interception. So they have been running a pop-gun first read, quick pass offense to try and move the chains. If you think I'm embellishing or over-simplifying, just watch closely at the play-calling from the rare occasion where EJ was in a game last year, he was mindlessly lost.
  13. Yeah, nevermind that pesky PissPoor QB play, that had no impact on the offensive production in any way, it HAD to be all Hackett's fault.
  14. Say what you want about Palmer, but all I can comment on are good mechanics from that link. I don't think anything more than that. Right now EJ is losing this board and fanbase, and rightfully so because he is failing the eyeball test, and failing it miserably. That doesn't mean every Bills fans WANTS EJ to not succeed, it simply means nobody is going to give a QB on this team a free pass anymore, not after the last shitstorm of garbage QBs we've seen in the last 15 years, so anything negative EJ gets right now is earned, albeit a little excessive, but We've earned that right. Enough of the Fanboard member bashing already, it doesn't make you look clever, or more mature, or a more educated fan. If EJ turns it around and starts looking like anything close to a first round pick, he will win us over, and not a fraction of a second sooner. I've personally waited for the likes of JP(turnovermachine)Losman, Cap'n Checkdown, and Fitz-PickSix-Trajic, so.... yeah.... Palmer's mechanics look good to me right now, because EJ's Wobblers don't.
  15. Yes. Can he play, will he bring some attitude? yes, and yes. I think what happened in Miami was a joke.
  16. I think rating coaches will end up being biased by their winning percentage, and there are a lot of good coaches that have lost their jobs otherwise. What makes a good coach is such an opinion based system, it would be impossible to really rank anyone with a losing record. Look at Jeff Fisher, where would the discussion begin on a coach like him? Or how about Steve Mariucci? There's no doubt he was a good coach, but some teams just find a way to lose, and it was Detroit that killed the Mooch...
  17. This team needs 3 QBs more than other team, mostly due to very, very, very poor play from the position from top to bottom, and extremely likely that EJ will be injured in a way that leaves them with only 2. so, I understand the OPs notion that if we cut Tuel, He'll be there if we needed to re-sign him, but there's no guarantee, and while I love Freddie, he's not an option at QB for an entire game.
  18. I can't facepalm any longer from what I read on this board, I'm starting to get an indentation, and that's just not a good look for me.
  19. Somehow I almost feel more apathy towards the upcoming season after partaking in this thread...
  20. This team has needed a real franchise QB ever since Jim Kelly retired. That's the only way to reverse the fortunes is to have one of those. Just look at every team that has been good, it has been the QB position that was not shaky. When Fitz was here, the team won when he looked great. Arizona is a prime example, loaded with talent, but can't really compete since Kurt Warner left. all the HCs, OC's and DC's in the world can't compensate for poor QB play. The team is not cursed, nor is it due to it's small market digs, those are media excuses, plain and simple.
  21. It Ain't over till it's over, I don't think there's anything to see here till they announce the new owner, and it's not Jon Bon Jovi... then I will either celebrate, or burn all my NFL related apparel and never look back, depending on who it is. From reports I have read, it was Morgan Stanley who advised the Toronto group to reach out to Jim Kelly, so that tells me that there is a real push to get their bid to the top of the list for acceptance, and I have no idea why.
  22. Butt Fumble... this can't be a real thread.
  23. I am not one of those who immediately dislike a player, or downplay their skills once they leave Buffalo, but Stevie, along with Peters and Byrd is definitely a lost talent, unlike the useless services of 'Lil Donte, Lynch, and Posluzny. I will Miss Stevie's enthusiasm for the game most of all.
