  1. I'd be surprised if Vick ended up on second string despite what the jets say.
  2. Two times in one offseason is two too many. But I am relieved he was not arrested ... again! ... after just getting arrested (again).
  3. No alleged damage? WTF? Smacks of a greed play. Marino and his ilk will slowly kill this game. Litigation always wins in the end. There will be a time when threats of never-ending lawsuits will force the NFL to make radical changes to the violence of the game we love. When that happens, it's virtual flag football. I think the analogy I've seen is apropos: A solider suing the federal government for getting shot. What makes it worse is that Marino is a millionaire and the soldier/marine makes $20K a year if that.
  4. Guy can't even hold on to his cell phone connection. And this is OUR franchise QB? Doomed.
  5. Illogical to think this team would have a 100 percent worse record with the relative stability we've had season to season (sans Byrd) and draft / FA additions, which most pundits seem to think will contribute positively ASAP. So, a new defensive scheme (not really) and stud receiver will have us losing three more games next season? Nate Davis can suck it.
  6. Can we leave it at I personally think 6.9 percent is decent considering the QB situation and injuries, and that I personally think he's a good WR, and that I personally will miss him as a fan?
  7. Dude -- his drop percentage is 6.9 percent -- significantly better than Wes Welker, Brandon Marshall and many others. You are slicing and dicing. Regardless, he's gone. My viewpoint is he's a solid No. 2 asset. I personally will miss him as a fan.
  8. You can slice and dice data. You think SJ sucks, so be it. The data I'm looking at shows a decent figure, despite having three different QBs and injuries.
  9. In the oft chance your question is sincere :-0 the first two are Manuel and the third one is SJ.
  10. One analyst called it "slow eyes." Apropos. That, and of course his penchant for busting his knees on nondescript plays. I look forward to seeing where he can take his game come September. I don't know. All I know is I loved his hustle (never stopped, even when he wasn't the designated target) and route running ability, and he seemed to love playing for the team and living in Buffalo.
  11. My point: He's not as bad as some fans here think. There are others with higher drop rates on this team. He's right in the middle of NFL receivers. Which isn't bad considering he's had to play with more QBs than I can even count.
  12. SJ's completion percentage is average. Some fans have a selective memory due to high profile drops. And there are other players on the Bills (Choice, Graham) with higher drop rates. Losing SJ is going to hurt. http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/drops/2013/
  13. Because this is clearly a Congressional issue.
  14. The Goat Island Bills. Nice ring to it. Would have to do something with the Tesla monument though. And then there's this :"The western end of the island is slowly being eroded by the falls and the entire island will eventually disappear as the falls erode further upstream." An analogy to the Bills? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goat_Island_(New_York)
  15. And with the first pick of the 2015 draft, the Buffalo Bill select ... A Pair of Healthy Knees.
  16. OK. But what does Hostetler Jr. think?
  17. I'm all in, but I'll say it again -- those story lines are for Bills fans. Now if Cyrus Kujo would come out of the closet or something, then we'd have something.
  18. If the Bills make the playoffs this year, and don't win the Superbowl, I'll send you $5 to recoup your cost ... just for having faith.
  19. OK. I'm sold. Something special here.
  20. Great movie. They don't make em like that anymore. All CGI, over produced and underwritten.
  21. You could be a producer. You produced solid story lines...for Bills fans. People don't care about them. The Browns or Eagles will be getting it this year. As for distraction, I'm all for it. Buffalo needs some national exposure. Zero worries about any media distraction.
  22. Great recap. The Atlanta game hurt. I seem to recall Game 3 vs. the Jets as horrible. Big picture: Conservative playcalling on O. This was a super boring offense last year, sans FJ and CJ. That, and an inexperienced /oft-injured QB. I would add a distant second to be bad special teams. We gave up a boring, predictable defense with Wanny and got the same on O, albeit fast-paced, with Hackett. I hope we open this mother out come September.
