The key for the Vikes seems to be let Garafalo reveal who he has locked on to and jump the route. He seems to be pretty predictable.

He was such a forgettable coach and it was such a time of hopelessness even though the drought was just starting. The situation with Ralph was also well into the senile stage and some of the decision making had become perplexing at the best of times. Mularkey's failure to get us into the playoffs vs a team of 3rd stringers was one of the biggest failures I've ever seen in coaching in any sport. The team just did not seem prepared in that game or motivated at all. In retrospect, Mularkey's era is like a childhood trauma or humiliation that your mind has buried for you to avoid further issues.

Why? Wentz was 17/24 , 172yds with 1 TD and no INTS. A bunch of those throws were clutch passes. I was pretty surprised that Wentz looked that good against the Bills defense.

There was no way that they could keep Foles, they would have had to pay him and terminate the Wentz project. Wentz was too high a draft pick to blow off for Foles but Wentz is who he is, a qb who gets injured quite a bit and can look brilliant but terrible as well. Wentz looked great against us but in other games has looked overwhelmed or confused by what he was seeing out there. Foles got injured so its hard to tell what he will do with the Jags but I don't think either of these qbs can repeat what they did when they had Reich as the OC.

I really don't like the Browns sniffing around competent coaches, that makes me nervous!! I've kind of enjoyed the dumpster fire of late!

If Brown steps out before the ball arrives and then steps back in and catches it with two feet in, is it still a legal catch?

Local college wideout? Please don't stop there! Apparently it was such an easy pass against that puny 6ft DB (who is apparently legally blind and was just feeling around in the shadows for Duke) that several members of TBD would have easily caught that pass ONE HANDED. Duke just is a CFL scrub and is used to catching the CFL football which is made by NERF in a league where the DBs are one legged.

No pass interference but not a drop either but weirdly he still should have caught it. I think it was a great defensive play by the DB because as you can see by that slow mo video, the much smaller DB hits Duke and catchs his leg spinning him first and then has the presence of mind to arm bar Duke so he doesn't get the bobble either. It was superb pass defense. People calling this a drop should maybe watch Ronnie Harmon vs Cleveland in the playoffs or Stevie Johnson in this clip.

It would be nice to have heard an explanation right from the head coach and not guess work. Listening to Beane today I was surprised how honest and candid he was about Josh. It would be nice if they could be so about all player personnel moves this season.

I've been watching football for 40 years, Ive never seen additional off field officials come on the field during a game ever. Has the NFL explained who these guys were and how they were allowed to rush onto the field?

Did anyone explain at the post season press day why Duke was inactive for most of the season while other inferior players played?

The Allen sweep blocking was obviously awful but there was another missed block that I can remember that could have been really impactful. It was the screen play where Singeltary got huge yardage near the end of the 4th?. He goes out there with Cody Ford and they both run down the sideline together. Unfortunately, Ford is either too slow or doesn't pick up the sprinting Texan defender who runs right by him and tackles Motor and ends the play. I thought Singeltary might have scored and we would have been up 4 with no time for the Texans to respond..

On the bright side, DiMarco's poorly timed jump was able to throw off the sightline for both of those defenders and inadvertently prevent an easy interception on what was a pop fly!

The Bills problem for 20 years now is that we don't do enough on offense to beat our opponents and the inevitable bad officiating. I don't believe the refs are in a conspiracy against us but their incompetence is the norm in this league. On Saturday their ineptness was one of the key factors in our defeat. The weird call reversal on the kickoff TD, the tickety tack blindside call on Ford, the many missed calls on the Texans, they all made a Texans victory much more likely.

Ford made that block just like he probably has since little league football and he would probably do it again. why? because it was a legal clean block. The official who made the call invented a foul on that play and just like the pow wow after the kickoff non TD, the refs should have conferred and overturned it. The imbecile who threatened Ford on the internet should be saving his hate for the ref in question or the NFL and its poorly thought out and applied rules .

I think he catches it but its not easy, Metcalf's elite, he makes the tough catches look routine . Duke is a good 3rd WR. But Duke didn't drop that endzone pass. He should have caught that pass. Perhaps if he had 16 regular season games and first team reps to get more accustomed to Josh, he does, but the Braniacs in charge of offense made sure that didn't happen and bizarrely threw him in the deep end for a playoff game.

Missed the play where Wentz got injured. I saw the replay later and I'm wondering how Clowney stays in the game after he spears Wentz in the back of the head??! Did I miss something? why no ejection?

When was the last time that we lucked into a game changing player like Metcalf without doing anything in the draft? I'm seriously trying to think of anyone. Maybe Fred Jackson in a minor way?

Too bad the men in black didn't have that neuralyzer pen to make everybody watching forget that they had seen such poor officiating!

What Minny and Cousins did in OT is what we should have done last night. They went for it balls out and killed the Saints right there. Instead in our most important offensive series of the year, Daboll calls some mystifying plays that failed completely and we go out with a whimper.

Metcalf was an absolute beast tonight. I hate it that the Seahawks got him.

Was there any explanation as to why the play wasn't reviewed? or any explanation on those secret agent officials who barged onto the field?

After further review...… The Bills get screwed.....AGAIN.
