Until the NFL allows coaches to challenge bad penalties, the refs will continue to just guess at calls. The call on Mckenzie looked like a blindside block at full speed. I was actually surprised when I didnt see a penalty called right away. It would have been better if Mckenzie just stood his ground and slowed the Fins player down. In any case these players have to get up to speed on these rule changes. The same call against the Bills in the playoff game vs Houston was absolutely killer.

Defense is gassed because our offense has been so weak in the 2nd half

When I saw the 49ers blow it vs Atlanta a few weeks, I thought they seemed overhyped. Jimmy G also seemed a little too good to be true. He is great when not pressured (as he was most of tonight). When the Chiefs D finally started to hit him hard, he started to buckle. In fact he had that "owwww" look on his face like Rob Johnson after a hard hit in the 3rd quarter. But the key to this game was Mahomes not be fazed by his mistakes. You could just tell he never doubted himself. He's a great player in the clutch. Sammy Watkins was also clutch tonight. I'm happy that Andy Reid got his ring, finally. He is the best coach never to have won one until tonight.

In rugby in order to score a try, the ball has to be physically touched down to the ground by hand. So American "football" also stole that from rugby. What I find odd is that rugby calls it a try and not a touchdown. You are scoring, not making a "try" to score. In the end they should have called it American rugby. but that ship has sailed!

Reid is a great offensive mind and a great game planner. His teams are almost always competitive. However his weaknesses are changing the plan in game. Last years AFC championship was a prime example. This year I thought it was going to happen twice vs Texans and Titans but Mahomes bailed him out. Win the SB and hes a shoe in.

Just a question, I've been pulled over by cops and normally its a talking to,roadside humiliation as people pass by and then a lecture and ticket. What even prompted the cop to look into the rest of the car? Were the drugs and other stuff scattered on the passenger seat? Not even in a bag? Is this Pat player just stupid?

Of course Eli will get in. Manning slayed the Pats juggernaut twice. The only reason that people doubt his credentials is because they have started to assume that all HOF qbs should be like Brady and Brees where they are playing at a high level into their late 30s. HOF qbs of the past always had a drop off or injuries in their last couple of seasons and Manning was no different. I just like to know what intel the Chiefs had that we didn't. They were willing to go after him and it was a masterstroke landing him. But what about the other teams ahead of us? Chicago took Trubisky ahead of Mahomes. A whole bunch of other teams with mediocre to bad Qbs passed over Mahomes. I think the Bills did what most NFL teams do on a regular basis, completely overlook diamonds in the rough. Whalley got fired 2 days after the draft so was the choice to trade the pick entirely on McD? If so he is the one who is clueless but the Pegulas should have hired a new GM much earlier with a vision of what was needed in the draft. The entire time period after immediately after Rex's firing seems to have been a total debacle.

The GB defense has just been steamrolled in this game. That TD in the 2nd half was the final nail.

The cop in question seems to be belligerently looking for alcohol. Why is he even in that locker room? so he kind of deserves some comeuppance. An ass slap is not really my first choice for that but he seems like he is being a dick. Of course with OBJ around anything can happened. At least he didn't grab the cops cojones.

Some people didn't want Rosen because he was an open atheist in a league of holy rollers. Besides his own poor performances, I cant help but wonder if the fact that he isn't a believer hasn't also hurt his chances in the NFL. Nate Peterman who was much worse in performance and potential talent, got a lot of mileage out of the religious factor. Maybe Rosen is the opposite?

I'm wondering if the rest of the league shuts down Lamar just like they did when they figured out Kapernick. Just like Lamar, Kap was unstoppable for a season then once the genie was out of the bottle it was a swift decline. I also agree about O'Brien, its embarrassing that the Bills lost to a coach so dense and so predictable.

Seattle just came up short when it really mattered. Perhaps Wilson is showing his age but his ability to sense the blindside has fallen off considerably. Some of the sacks he took tonight were killer, esp on that last series. But I would have still put the ball in his hands on that long 4th down rather than punt it away. That fool Pete Carrol, trusted his defense vs Hall of fame Rogers but he forgot that he needed to put his faith in the officials and especially the replay officials. The last first down by the Packers was at least a foot maybe more short. Even when they reviewed it and it clearly showed how short he was and even after Zapruder brought in his additional footage, the morons still couldn't give the Seahawks justice. It might have made a hell of a finish to see Wilson with the ball back in do or die.

Im not sure if I feel better or worse after watching that Texans melt down. After all the hype about Watt and Watson in our game they were pretty ordinary and mortal today. In addition the Texans D who were we thought they were, which is utter crap. How we could only score 19 pts on that leaky sieve of defense is a huge embarrassment. At the same time had we been given all those gifts like the Texans got in that first quarter I think we could have beaten KC too, which also makes losing to the Texans even worse.

Lamar looked terrible tonight. Reminded me of Kapernick when the league started to figure him out.

Josh, Wentz and Jackson tonight have taken helmet to helmet hits in playoff games all without any penalty being called. Of all 3 , Josh's was the most possibly excusable as it was in the play (but was still leading with the helmet by the defender). For Wentz and Jackson tonight, both were classic dirty spearing hits. Wentz got knocked out of the game and any chance the Eagles had evaporated. Were the refs ok with Lamar receiving the same fate tonight? When the MVP of the league cant even get an obvious call in a game and when the league decides to not fine Clowney for his hit (and most likely the Titans defender after tonight) what is to stop teams from using that strategy every time they go up against a superior opponent? Just hit the QB late or dirty and decapitate the entire offensive game plan. The NFL officials are now starting to resemble the refs in professional wrestling and instead of rectifying matters at the league office, they double down on the stupid and give Cody Ford a fine??

The Vikings looked like the overrated underprepared team whose ass we kicked last year.

Helmet to helmet on the Vikes receiver and then the same guy gets tackled by the helmet...No call. Great officiating!

It was a horrible call even with the NFL's dubious reinterpretation of the rule. You would think that the league would review it and see that it should have never been a penalty and if it was (based on their blind man's interpretation) it was hardly egregious and a mild block. But no!! The NFL double down on their stupidity and douchebaggery and fine Ford! Idiots!

The key for the Vikes seems to be let Garafalo reveal who he has locked on to and jump the route. He seems to be pretty predictable.
