  1. All the Titans players seemed to have some major chip on their shoulder. Their were a lot of borderline dirty plays and a lot of disrespect going on after the whistle. They also followed through on a lot of tackles with some extra unnecessary force. I have no problem with any of that but I do have a problem with the Bills just taking it and playing wimpy. When a team disrespects you like that, then focus and beat them on the field. I get that the Bills dont want to be thugs but doing nothing? was inexcusable.
  2. I agree the smug D baggery after the win was obnoxious. That classless final TD at the end was pure BB. It was shades of BB crushing Jauron's Bills on Sunday night football years ago. But Vrabel is far stupider than BB and will never have his success and Tannehill is no Brady. The clock has to strike 12 on him at some point and he will revert to the QB we all knew and loved!
  3. 1. Agree, Allen looked a little bit off. Im not sure though if this was in reaction to all the drops and that terrible Roberts INT that was not Josh's fault. The INT in the 3rd was one of the worst throws of Josh's career. Before it got out of hand Daboll needed to switch things up. The pressure is too much when Josh is asked to play Hero ball and the rest of the team is mailing it in. 2. I hope so too. It seems once or twice a year in the last few years, the Bills have come up against a team that has studied them superbly and that the Bills have taken lightly. Philly, New Orleans or last night are great examples. That is 100% on the coaches for not preparing the players on a game plan. Not using a sports psychology, not even getting them hyped up or calming them down appropriately. Just inexcusably bad preparation. 3. I was wondering the same question. Bills played like the Titans were slathered in Covid 19. Too many half hearted tackles and missed ones. I cant help but think it played a role in their tentative and wimpy mentality last night. 4/5 They are really missing a defensive leader. Hughes and Norman were angry at some of the calls last night against them (some were iffy) but aside from that, nobody on the Bills defense seemed to be into this game. See the previous point. Oliver has been MIA. Totally mystifying. 6. I reversed the DVR 2X to see where the line of scrimmage was on that Tannehill pass. His front foot was at least a yard beyond the line of scrimmage, when he cocked his arm to throw the ball it was past the line of scrimmage. The Bills defenders immediately knew that he was past and complained. But I guess the refs felt really sorry for the Titans with all the pain and anguish of all the Covid 19 this week so they gave them the dbag TD pass to rub it in. The Bills should have at least shown some pride and got angry at that petty humiliation but at that point they were too far gone to care!
  4. Just sign him already. But sign some defensive talent as well. Depth is something we need as much of as we can have.
  5. Best just to forget everything about this game from the Titans covid fiesta, the postponement, the NFL making up some BS (Titans not at fault) explanation and then the Bills literally giving the Titans the game. I am very concerned going forward with this defense. They are beaten up and dont look like they have much self belief. They got ripped apart today by the mediocre talent of Ryan Tannehill and at many times in the game looked utterly lost for what to do. I know football is not basketball, where a time out can settle everything down but Frazier and McD have to do something different in these games where the defense is getting manhandled. It happened in the LA game and happened throughout tonight's game. They have to be able to mix things up and dial in something new on defense when things arent working. As for the talent that we have to work with, its looking pretty grim, . We need to hit the FA market and get somebody who can 1. Sack the QB, 2. spy the QB so he doesnt run for 50 yards, 3. knows what an INT is? and/or and maybe most importantly shows some leadership when the chips are down and raises other peoples games up. Right now we seem to lacking in a 4 of those areas!
  6. He's been great so far this year on the kick returns and some offensive plays. But today he was horrendous except for one nice grab. It was as if everybody was off tonight but some more than others!
  7. An the illegal forward pass TD will cap the game!!
  8. Wow this is like the Bills of the early drought era vs the Pats. Vrabel must be having a deja vu!
  9. This is going to be a score on every possession or lose type of game. We just need the defense to step up and make one big play.
  10. Quinn's career with the Falcons and possibly as a HC was done the second the Pats scored in the OT of the SB to cap that comeback. Some losses are flukey, but that loss after being up 28-3 was unforgivable. One of the worst chokes in sports history.
  11. I get that it must be insanely hard for these players not to hug and shake hands or maybe pray after the game, that's been the tradition forever, but seriously this is pandemic and talking within a foot of someone else's mouth without a mask on is just plain stupid. The Gilmore pic with Mahomes is nuts. Did the league not come out ahead of this before the season and warn the players that this is high risk behavior? Probably even worse than tackling somebody? The players on each team should forego the usual post game pleasantries and go directly to the locker room. Yes its a bit rude and unsporting but its safe. I know that some of these NFL players are not the sharpest knives in the drawer but cmon. You want to risk your health, your career even potentially your life to say hi to one of your opponents? Its just not worth it right now!
  12. A forfeit is completely warranted. The Titans organization and players have allowed pretty blatant violations of covid rules. This is a pandemic and a potentially killer virus, you cant just slap them on the wrist. At the same time the Bills safety is also paramount. Our players shouldnt have to be exposed to potential dangers because of the actions of a few idiots on the Titans.
  13. Sully is a Sports media legend in this town. Even the fact that he has been marginalized in his new job and has little exposure like he used to, yet he still seems to cause controversy is testament to that. I dont think Sully or any Bills fan for that matter has to apologize for being cynical or negative when it comes to this team. We lived through almost 20 years of a joke organization, bad coaches and utter dreck on the field. Having a skeptical take on this franchise is just common sense. That all being said, I think he is right in this article. The Bills are a team right now that could get to the SB and with a few breaks (on any given Sunday), win it.
  14. Yes the NFL will force the BILLS to forefeit!! But then McD will throw the challenge flag!! at which they will go to NY who will confirm that replays confirm the forfeit call by the league!!
  15. I've noticed this in all sports. The crowd adds a massive amount of white noise to what's being said on the field or playing surface and is kind of like a mild censor for the swearing going on. There isnt enough of delay on the broadcast to stop it anyway. Personally I think its really cool to hear everything unfiltered from the field. Yesterday was getting pretty testy. The Raiders have a bunch of thugs on their team so it was hardly surprising that regular F bombs were dropped.
  16. It was a clear TD on the first look and on the replay which of course means that it wasn't called a TD on the first look by the goal line official and then not not called a TD by the replay refs in NYC because its the NFL! The Carr fumble was another mystifying call. Clearly it was a fumble. I think the officials tried to squirm out of that one by saying they had blown the whistle before the fumble which if true is just another incompetent call. Officials also missed a blow to the head on Josh on that play where he hurt his shoulder. Just another day of mediocrity in NFL officiating. Its nice that this years Bills can overcome it.
  17. Wish him the best. Its a shame that his time here was cut short by the lingering effects of a dirty hit.
  18. Today our defense in the 2nd half reminded me of two recent scary Pats games: 1. The complete collapse of the Falcons D in that SB and The Pats Defeat of Reid and KC in the AFC championship 2 years ago. In both those cases and today you had defenses that were in disarray, exhausted and seemingly defeated and the coaches had no answers. Surely there is something that coaches can go to when their defenses are on the ropes like that. Some sort of new schemes or substitution. That was just way too easy for McVeigh to shred us.
  19. I am mystified why people think this was a bad decision. Josh threw it up to where only Kroft is getting it. Its exactly the kind of jump ball throw we were screaming for last year and we kept arguing that Bills receivers weren't doing enough of. It was a great throw, on the money and Kroft's push off is pretty mild (especially if you compare to Gronk's usual move). If Kroft doesnt push off, I still think that the DB isnt getting it because he jumps too early and is too short. Kroft catches it and his back hits the ground with it in his hands. Never an INT!!
  20. Only in the Alice in wonderland world of NFL officiating does a rule so intensely stupid get created. Its as bad as the tuck rule or some of the leagues idiotic attempts to define a catch in recent years!
  21. Winning despite the refs is the most important part of your statement. A championship team does this because the refs in this league are garbage. Its only a matter of time before you get screwed on a phantom call or completely nonsense "we dont even know the rules of the game" call like the INT BS. Most of the Bills teams of the last 20 years would have folded after that gut punch by the refs. Kudos to Josh, he took the team on his back and got this win. He even overcame some of his own immature mistakes to do it!
  22. First of all it if that actually was a take away then why is it called a INT. The DB did not intercept a pass. He placed his hands on an already caught ball. Then the receiver who caught the ball first , hits the ground. The play is actually over at that point. The Simultaneous possession rule clearly states the ball belongs to the offense. In no way was that an INT or a fumble. The refs didnt seem to understand their own rule on that play but of course clearly understand the nonsense no horsecollar in the pocket rule in full detail.
  23. This is true but it doesnt change the narrative about why a league would call a particular style of tackle dangerous and outlaw it but somehow make it legal in the pocket? Because it isnt dangerous in there? huh?
  24. Frazier needed to do something different when the Rams started rolling. By that stage they had figured us out. Obviously we were exhausted but the Rams had done their homework and once they saw the weaknesses they exploited them. Our defensive schemes work great against anybody when the defense has time to rest but once they were gassed it was time to change it up.
