How in the hell does a guy being slightly off the LOS constitute an "Illegal formation" and even if he was how does that possibly affect the game?? -

The Fans in the stands, or lack thereof. Stats
Livinginthepast replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The NFL allowed itself to be bullied by its more greedy owners to allow teams to decide on fans. It should be a blanket no fans policy to keep it fair and obviously to keep people safe. What they have done is unfair and idiotic. I am more interested overall on the effect of no fans in the stadiums on the quality of the games themselves. Do certain teams do better than they would have with no noise? Do certain players perform better with no fans watching (even if they are home fans?). Do the refs behave differently with calls if there is no fan pressure? This whole year is unique opportunity for sports psychologists to study all these different things. Hopefully we will never see another year like it ever again! -
Imagine TBD Circa 1992 After These Two Games
Livinginthepast replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The vibe couldnt have been more different. We had a team of all stars in 1992. We had high expectations of them because they should have already won a SB. So losing any game was unacceptable. I can remember both of those losses. I was pretty steamed because I thought both LA and Miami were crap pretenders in the AFC. -
Should the Bills bring in Marcel Dareus?
Livinginthepast replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is absolutely true. You could also argue the "any port in a storm" point. We are pretty desperate at this point. As much as I despise the Pats. They have gotten some decent production through the years from also rans, dbags and castoffs from other teams when they have had injuries or lacked depth in the position. Beane doesnt do this nor would ever do this unless they were former Carolina Panthers. -
I get it, the Ralph is a tough place to kick with the way the winds whip in there. Today was tough with the rain as well. But its doesnt excuse a kick being 20 yards wide. If you look at the Bills kickers through the last 30 years, they have all had to get used to changing their style to match the unusual conditions at home. He seems to miss wide right a lot so starting from the right hash mark is a problem. But thats his one job (along with kickoffs) so why hasnt he learned to adjust for the conditions?. It really pisses me off that we even have to have a new kicker, Hauschka was awesome until that dirty hit vs the Jets ruined his career.

Did Anyone Watch Mahomes Post Game Interview?
Livinginthepast replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes and not to mention all those runs just keep wearing down our defense to the point where they are exhausted by the half! Frazier either cannot or is not allowed to make adjustments in game. He just stares like a deer in the headlights. Its almost Jauron like. -
Should the Bills bring in Marcel Dareus?
Livinginthepast replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does he suck? yes, is he out of shape? hell yes! Does he pass the McD character test, absolutely not! but is he better than what they have now? I would say YES at this point. -
McD was touted as a guy who planned to the smallest detail, a guy who got his team prepared for games with film study and lots of intel on opponents. But The Bills have played some of their worst games where they looked completely unprepared in his coaching time. One of the obvious flaws right from the beginning with of the McD era was a lack of in game adjustments when a plan wasnt working . Fans on here would point to the fact that he was not that kind of coach. But If the team is unprepared AND doesnt make any adjustments to a game plan in game, what are the chances of success?

KC-BUF: 5 Things
Livinginthepast replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its another really bad defensive effort in the McD era. So many times in the past 3 years our D has been embarrassed under a coach who really should be doing better. We cannot make adjustments in game and some of the playcalls on D are atrocious! A sputtering offense in these conditions is expected but two weeks in a row of your defense being overwhelmed is simply inexcusable. -

Holy crap. You cannot figure out as a defensive coach to have a Spy on Mahomes? Complete idiocy and incompetence. -
