Alex Trebek has stage 4 pancreatic cancer
Happy replied to Reed83HOF's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Terrible news. I hope he can beat it, but huge odds. I lost my Aunt to this form of cancer. -
I was not aware of the political leanings of the cast and creator; interesting regarding the background of the show. I'm a little too young to have seen the first runs, but used to watch the reruns and thought the show was hilarious. I enjoy watching some of the older shows and movies, as a good portion of them cannot be made in the same way nowadays (too politically incorrect.) I initially thought that @Gugny was just being whiney in his response, but I see what he was getting at.

All In the Family, and it has to be as non-pc as it was in the 70's during original airing. Liberals heads will explode, which will be as funny as the show, itself.

Doubt he fits McD's defensive scheme. The Ravens are a base 3-4.

Which Ex Bills HC Would You Hire Again?

Hmmm...well, that's not good. I either wasn't aware of that or forgot about it, not sure which. -
Report: Raiders shopping Derek Carr
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt Carr ends up in Miami. If Armando Salguero's article from several weeks ago is accurate, the Dolphins will not spend that type of money - no Foles, AB, or Carr. My guess is Fales and Osweiler compete for the position with the loser as backup QB. They will probably go QB in 2020. -
How can you possibly have a SECOND team that you root for?
Happy replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure. My favorite team is the Bills, and my second favorite team is whoever is playing the Patriots*. Easy enough.- 157 replies

Carolina WR Devin Funchess unlikely to be extended
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a younger KB with maybe a better attitude. Plus he's from Carolina, so he'll probably be a Bill this season. I'd pass on him. If we want a vet TE, just get Jesse James rather than convert a lumbering WR. -

Dicky J - he said it's hard to win in the NFL...he's right ? -
Golden Tate would “love to play for the Patriots”
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plus, you would have inside info as to where all the good rub 'n tugs are. Bonus! -
There were some weeks they would have needed to score 47 to win. I get his point, they need to score a lot more than what they were. Get some offensive skill position help, as well as a better OLine, that should go a ways to helping. As far as needing 47 to win, get rid of the cover 2, bend don't break, get run over defense and that should help.

A couple of days ago i saw patsfan.com had 75 pages on this topic. Might be more now, but I haven't checked. Agreed. That team is pretty much on auto pilot. They have their system nailed down, so Kraft getting pinched probably won't affect them. Now if it were Belichick who got busted, I think they would be in trouble. If BB goes, the Pats are pretty much done.

Calling it now: Zay Jones will not be on the week 1 roster.
Happy replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zay showed improvement last year, which is a positive for him. I think he makes the team this year unless the Bills get such an infusion of WR talent, which I can't imagine, that it pushes him out. -
I know you're joking, but this would be terrible. Don't even want to think about this... So kind of like in regular season ?

Any idea on the subject of this press conference?

Popko’s departure comes while he was overseeing an extensive study to determine whether the Bills will keep playing at their current stadium in suburban Buffalo or build a new facility downtown. Maybe the Pegulas didn't like the direction that Popko and the others were taking the Bills regarding a potential new stadium, and were butting heads over it. That could be the background issue that caused the change of leadership.

No worries. I'll just go to patsfans.com and troll the chowdah heads for a couple of hours. -
Bills hire away Dolphins Director of Analytics
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good question. It does feel like we've brought in a lot of Carolina personnel, recently. -
We should get Gostkowski just to piss off NE. Plus he's actually an upgrade from Hauska.

What Punishment Will the NFL Kraft for the Champs Owner ?
Happy replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Robert Kraft will be forced out of the NFL, with his son Jonathan taking control of the team. Note that Pats fans are not too happy about this; I saw some posts on Patsfans regarding this. At worst, Bob Kraft will be served with two counts of a misdemeanor solicitation, which he'll probably pay a fine and maybe do community service in some form or another. -
Kraft still denies visiting the spa even though Jupiter, FL police have film on him visiting twice. How dare anyone question Lord Kraft. https://www.yahoo.com/news/robert-kraft-apos-categorically-apos-175714403.html U.S. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has “categorically” denied soliciting sex at a spa in Florida after police said he was filmed doing so twice. Mr Kraft, 77, faces two counts of soliciting sex from a prostitute. The billionaire is one of two dozen men who were arrested for allegedly paying $59 (£45) for a half-hour and $79 (£60) for an hour of sex at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida. “We categorically deny that Mr Kraft engaged in any illegal activity,” his spokesman said in a statement. “Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.” Mr Kraft, whose football team recently won its sixth Super Bowl championship, was one of more than 170 people arrested in south Florida during a police sweep on prostitution and sex trafficking, according to a Jupiter police affidavit. Police said on Friday that the women involved were “working long hours and engaged in oral and manual sex acts”. Jupiter police chief Daniel Kerr said Mr Kraft as subject to misdemeanour charges based on two separate alleged visits to the spa. “We have two,” Mr Kerr said, regarding the two counts of soliciting sex against Mr Kraft. “Two different visits. … We’re as equally stunned as everybody else.” Detective Andrew Sharp said the billionaire was caught on surveillance video. “The question was, does the video contain Mr Kraft inside receiving the alleged acts. The answer to that is yes,” Mr Sharp told reporters during a press conference on Friday. There is an arrest warrant from Mr Kraft with the state attorney’s office and it will be sent to the Patriots owner’s home in Brookline, Massachusetts. The National Football League issued a brief statement following the news of Mr Kraft’s sex solicitation charges, saying it is “aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments”. Jupiter police officer O’Neil Anderson said: “Kraft was a shock. It was really just a shock to have a human trafficking ring working out of a storefront in quiet Jupiter.”

As far as a public announcement of the event, I don't know of any, but I also don't follow this stuff closely. I just know that several posters made mention of this last off-season before that start of camp. Supposedly Poyer then cheated on her with the girl from UB which prompted Rachel Bush to air her grievances and threaten the UB student. There was a thread on all of this last June/July timeframe.
